There was no commercial version of it that I could find.
It exists on youtube as a clip (with good audio).
I used a free software to rip the audio file from youtube & make it into an mp3. worked great, play it for my kids & dance regularly!

Why such sorry sound quality on iTunes? On some of my purchases the sound level is suppressed on the audio. On others the volume is so low that if I have it set for another song and a new one starts I have to increase the volume to hear it.

There is so much distortion on some of the music I have to play it with QuickTime to get a "clean" track.

You need to take your MacBook Pro to your Apple store genius bar and check that they will do the upgrade for you...price for 4 GB memory used to be $200 but you will have to check with them for the current cost.
You can also check with OWC, http://www.macsales.com and see what their cost is and decide if you want to do it yourself. Cost will be about half of that at the Apple store.

If you have a rescue email address on your account then you've checked the inbox and spam folder on that account as well, and you've tried requesting the email again ? If you still can't find it then try contacting Support in your country and see if they can reset it for you.

I downloaded a song from the I-tunes store and was charged for it. It isn't on my playlist now. Something about the playtime ran out or something like that. Can I just cancel the song purchase and get reimbursed for the .99 cents that I was charged for the song?

I am looking for a device that will answer phone calls on my Mac. I have had a Phonevalet, and it is great, but it is no longer made.

I am looking for a device that will answer a landline phone. I have a Phonevalet, which answers, takes messages, has call block and is pluged into my Address Book, but it was discontinued, and I would like to add another line. Ovalabs made a similar device, but it also is gone. Is ther a way to use an Apple Modem to take calls? Any other product? The best part of the PhoneValet for me was it would announce the caller ID over my stereo (pluged into my Mac) and I could hear who was calling in my workshop and decide if I wanted to interupt the call.

I know I'm talking about expensive apps, but having been in prepress for about 30 years now, I really don't look at anything other than Quark XPress or InDesign for page layout apps. Your printing vendor will also be much happier with you when you use these products. Some areas of the U.S. tend to be mostly Quark oriented; others, InDesign. Ask your vendor what they would prefer, and if there are any free or cheap alternative apps they'll accept documents from.
Apple's Pages app (part of iWork) is a decent page layout program, but hasn't been updated in four years. It also doesn't support CMYK. If you place a CMYK image in the app, it will export out an RGB version of it. Not good! You can work with RGB images if you prefer, but your CMYK translations will be left to the skill of the print shop you use to do the conversions.
Don't even think about using Word. It has what it calls a page layout option, and does pretty much work like one, but there's no good way to import it into a real layout app such as InDesign. You end up paying the printer for their time to rebuild your entire project in either XPress or InDesign so they can actually do something with it.

When you connect your ipod up to the computer. It should show the device, usually with the name of the device, in my case 'jordan's ipod'. This should be on the row which shows 'songs', 'albums' e.t.c on the far right. There when you click on it it should go to a different screen showing a picture of your ipod along with two buttons - Update and Restore. Click update and it should take a 2 mins while your ipod is updated to the latest version of Ios.
After updating te ipod see if there is a change in results.
PS: make sure the device is active while syncing so keep tapping the screen.

You can not restorea a backup made with a newer version of iOS to a phone with an older version of iOS.
1400 photos stored on the phone? Do you not EVER extract them? The camera roll is intended to be temporary storage. Like the SD card in a digital camera. You should be extracting them to your computer on a regular basis.
Contacts should be synced to a compatible contact manager or cloud service. If you were not doing any of these things, guard your backups with your life and make sure your computer is being backed up on a regular basis, because you won't be able to get them back until you get a new phone with at least the same version of iOS that your 4 had.
There are 3rd party applications that say they can extract this information from a backup file, but I don't have personal experience with them.

I'm running version 32. I was prompted by what appeared to be the usual means that there was an important security update. For some reason, I felt uneasy and decided to go to Firefox directly where it said "Congratulations, you are running the latest version.". There doesn't appear to be anyway to keep whatever prompted me from "updating" when I restart Firefox. Does anyone know where on my Mac I could find the file that downloaded so I can delete it before I restart Firefox? OR does anyone know whether quitting Firefox and all my other programs and restarting my machine will take care of this issue?

Bought album; receipt shows i was charged for individual songs.

i bought 3 eps the other day - pretty much one after the other. looking at my purchase history, 2 of the eps are listed song by song while the 3rd shows it was purchased outright. i know i didn't buy the songs individually, but clicked the "buy album" tab under the artwork. is this common? i just don't get what would cause this... it's not a lot of money but it's pretty annoying.

I panicked until I realized what had happened. I though someone had accessed my payment info, but the cost is the same (in this case). Other albums I have ordered were shown as albums, not songs.

That's happened to me as well, when the total of the individual songs is the same as the price of the album, they just bill individual songs.

On my iPad was looking for a song by john hooker and ITunes Store said they didn't,t have but the Irish store did and did I want to connect with it, I did, they didn't,t and now I,m stuck in the Irish store and can,t get back to the USA store.

You can try signing out and back in to your AppleID in Settings > iTunes and App Stores or follow this procedure:
1. Go to Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID.
2. Tap your Apple ID.
3. Tap View Apple ID.
4. Enter your password.
5. Go to Country/Region in the popup window to change to the desired store.

HT1420 I just realized that I never deauthorized my songs from my old computers. With the "deauthorize all" option, will I lose my songs, or will I just need to sign into itunes the first time I play each song to authorize to my current pc?

Also, is there a way to manage which computers are authorized if I dont have them anymore (select which computers to deauthorize instead of all of the)
