My nano just froze. I tried turning it off and nothing was happening. Is there any way to fix it without letting the battery run dry and then recharging it?

What you need to do is slide the hold button (at the top of the ipod) to the headphones and then back then old the menu button and the middle button together until you see the apple logo appear it may not work the first time but should work the next few times im am sorry if it doesnt work but that is how i did it when my one froze

Was playing the Ipod and it went black and now won't turn on

was playing the IPod touch with camera and it went black in the middle of a game ans now won't turn on.

After charging for half an hour, reset the iPod:
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If it now works you are done.
- Connect it to the computer. If it appears in iTunes restore the iPod
- If not seen, see if placing he iPod in recovery mode will make it visible so you can restore the iPod. For recovery mode see:

If you use the Music app, all you get is sound. If you use the Videos app, you get sound and video.

No, they aren't retained in a "deleted" folder, they are simply removed.

Plays the song, but doesn't advance

Hi all,
I just downloaded the latest version of iTunes, and I've noticed a problem. As I'm playing a song or podcast, the timeline at the top center of the iTunes window does not advance through the track, and although the audio is fine and advances to the next song, the display never does. iTunes doesn't count how many times I play the song, and the Party Shuffle will not advance. Any thoughts? Anyone else had this problem?

Make sure the 'display songs played' counter is not set to zero. Also, make sure all the boxes are checked on all your songs. That may help.

By blocked, do you mean froze, or locked up?
Press and hold the power button until the Mac turns off. Turn it back on.

She is making in app purchases. Probably not knowing what that means to your monthly credit card bill. Use the Settings app to enable restrictions and turn on restrictions for iTunes, App Store and in app purchases, mabe some others too. The restrictions will be set with a passcode to prevent your daughter from changing them.

2. Try another wall socket
3. Try another cable (make sure it's an original Apple cable)
4. Try another charger (make sure it's an original Apple charger)
