I was told my iPhone 5 charger wasn't covered with my phone warranty because it's considered an accessory?

I've not even had my iPhone 5 for 1 year and my charger randomly stopped working. I called to have it replaced and they told me that it isn't covered because it's an accessory.
Well, please Apple explain to me why the charger isn't covered in the phones warranty. Accessory or not the charger came with the phone and you can't use your crappy technology without it so why wouldn't it be covered in the warranty.
Also, yeah it's not accessories, but I would appreciate it and I'm sure the other 99% of your customers would too if you would stop using your interns ideas for your new iOS versions. Probably shouldn't let them program it either. This is some shotty programming, very much so.

On your phone: Settings>General>Usage>Music...tap the Edit button...then the red minus sign. This will delete all music on your phone.

I realize this. When calling prepaid cus service it only gives you the option to input your #. If you dont the system hangs up on you. When I input my number the system doesnt recognize it and hangs up on me.

I am travelling to the Philippines next week and I have been told my iphone and ipad chargers will work with the 220v there. Do I need to be concerned and buy any type of converter?

I am traveling to the Philippines next week and am confused on whether I need to buy a converter to be able to charge my Iphone (and Ipad). I was told I did not as the chargers were universal and automatically converted anywhere from 100 to 240v depending on what you plug into.
I would just like some more confirmations if any one has traveled internationally.

No, but most international airports I have been to have convenience stores that sell the plug adapters. And there are always other shops with the adapters so it is easy to get exactly what you need after you get there.

IPhone error "Charging is not supported with this accessory"

I keep getting error "Charging is not supported with this accessory" ever since the last update. I only get this message when iphone is locked and not plugged in to anything. When phone is locked the message keeps popping up every few seconds, consiquently I'm having to charge at least twice a day!
Error only occurs when not plugged in & iphone locked & doesn't make any difference if wifi on or off
Connectors have been cleaned
iphone has been restored
iphone has been re-booted
Nothing seems to work and after researching, all similar posts seem to be pertaining to actually plugging in to something and the fix was "clean connector" this is not my problem, error only happens if not plugged in. I'm assuming it's a bug from the last update but my girlfriends iphone is fine.
Would someone please help as the drain on my phone is rediculous now, it wasn't that good to start with but now the phone is pretty useless unless I'm near a plug! It's also very annoying having the screen constantly coming to life with this error message, especially at night.

I've not been able to find any new solutions so I thought I would try repeating everything I've tried again. I started by re-cleaning the connector as, logically my error only occurs when not plugged in to anything. To my amazement the problem is now resolved, I did take quite a while cleaning this time using toothpicks, cotton buds and nail varnish remover. So I geuss I should have cleaned it better in the first place! Doh! Anyway it's FIXED!!

If you activated Find My iPhone (in Settings>icloud), and if the device's batteries still have a charge, the device is not turned off and has not been reset and is connected to wifi, then you can try to track it. Using a computer, log into icloud.com and look at the Find My iPhone page. On a device, invoke the Find My iPhone app (get it for free at the itunes app store) and log into the icloud account.
If it is offline, then one of the requirements listed above is not met (like being connected to wifi, or if the device was stolen and the thief reset it).

IPhone 3GS - "Charging is not supported with this accessory"

Hi everyone,
I'm hoping someone can help me with this. Basically we have a non-Apple docking station at work, and we all take turns to plug in our iPods and iPhones to listen to our music. The moment I plug my iPhone in there, a message pops up saying that "Charging is not supported with this accessory"
This honestly doesn't bother me at all - the message pops up on everyone's device when they plug it in.
The thing that really bothers me is that now when charge my iPhone at home, with the official cables, etc., the same message pops up. Most of the time, if I remove the cable and re-insert it, the message doesn't appear and my phone charges normally again.
This problem only started after I plugged my phone into that docking station at work, and now it just won't stop. I've restarted my phone and everything, but I can't believe that the problem's just not going away. I'm not even using the docking station anymore... No one else at work is experiencing the same problem.
Is there anything I can do about this, or will that message never stop appearing when I try to charge my iPhone?

OK, so just an easy check - reset your phone and see if it makes any difference - hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Silver Apple appears. Then, once the Home screen comes back up, plug 'er in, and see what you get.
If you get the same message, then you need to take a trip to your nearest Apple store or Authorized Apple Service Provider with the iPhone, cable, and adaptor so they can check it out. Or, you can simply purchase a new adaptor and cable (it sounds like the adaptor itself may have an issue at this point....)

IPhone 4 "Charging is not supported with this accessory"

I am using the IPhone 4 IOS 6.1.3 and receiving the warning "Charging is not supported with this accessory".
I changed the cords and cleaned the ports with a wire, then compressed air.
Brought it intro the Genius Bar and still having an issue, Apple thinks it may be a damaged port.
I refuse to believe that since it will still accept a charge and will data transfer to my laptop.
Any ideas on fixes?

Does this message appear when anything is plugged into the dock connector or a specific device?
If the former, the port is damaged.
If the later, the device causing the message is the problem.

My original iphone 5 charger has broken, unable to use 3rd party charger has left me with no phone!

I am now left without a phone APPLE, either send me a replacement charger free of charge (Iphone 5 charger shouldnt be breaking due to wear and tear already!) or allow me to use a 3rd party charger as frankly £30 for a replacement charger that broke without being my fault is ridiculous!
