1. Tap "Settings"
2. Tap "iTunes & App Stores"
3. Tap on your Apple ID
4.Tap "View Apple ID"
5. Enter your user name and password.
6. Tap "Country/Region."
7. Tap "Change Country/Region"
8. Select the region where you are located.
9. Tap "Done".
Note: If the change doesn't take effect, sign out of account and sign in again.

Last night, my computer running Windows 7 premium home edition downloaded some automatic updates. I came in this morning to find that it had done a restart after adding these updates.
Now, anytime I click a link or do something which requires a redirect to another web page, my program gives me the not responding message and I have to wait 30-55 seconds for the program to continue.
I have Firefox 4 and it was running smoothly up until this morning, so I can only assume that whatever the automatic updates were, there is something in them that is causing this error. I do not know what updates were installed.

I don't have that problem in Firefox 29 when I read Gmail or AOL (aim''.''com) webmail. When I click on a webpage link in an email I'm reading (example: http://www.tworivertheater.org/ ) the link opens in a separate Firefox tab.
Are you saying this doesn't happen in outlook''.''com webmail and the link opens in the same Firefox tab as the email itself? I don't use outlook''.''com webmail myself. Hopefully someone will be along who does, or see [[Problems with email and how to find help]].
It might help if you would confirm the type of link that is opening in the same tab as the email you are reading in your outlook webmail. If I misunderstood your problem, please explain it better.

If you moved them to your iPad then they will have been removed from your Mac. If they are no longer in the iPad's Videos app following the update then you will need to try contacting iTunes support and see if they will let you re-download them : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

You're using Exchange Active Sync to synchronize contacts and calendars with your company Exchange Server. If the default calendar/address books are set to the Exchange account, it will sync automatically. This is normal.
Go to Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars to change the default address book and calendars to a something else, iCloud or something synced from your home computer instead.

I was following directions to update to i-tunes 10, and my computer was trying to shut down in order to restart. It froze, and would not turn off, so I turned it off manually, then restarted. I got distracted and did not wonder why i-tunes did not finish installing. Tried to open i-tunes later from the desktop shortcut and it said something about not being installed all the way, so the shortcut was not valid.
I tried to uninstall all the i-tunes stuff, in order, from my computer to try installing it again, and I cannot uninstall i-tunes!! It gives me this error message; "the installation source for this product is not available" and then gives me a file name to search my computer for, that can't be found. I MISS my i-tunes. Please help! How do I get the old i-tunes version off my computer?

These sorts of msi-related troubles have gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try reinstalling iTunes. Does the install go through properly this time?
(If you do find a clean download site for the correct version of CleanUp, please don't tell me where it is. Without wishing to sound paranoid (although I grant it does sound paranoid), there is a non-zero chance that posting links to download locations for the utility here at Discussions leads to that download location being shut down.)

Outlook 2010 Problem opening shared mailbox "the set of folders cannot be opened. Microsoft Exchange is not available"

Hi, I have a number of mailboxes configured for sharing.
For those users who have full access rights (given via EMC) the mailboxes automatically appear in Outlook 2010.
However for one of those mailboxes the users recieve the following error when they try to access it:
"The Set of Folders cannot be opened. Microsoft Exchange is not available. Either there are network problems or the Exchange server is down for maintenance."
Meanwhile the users' primary mailboxes continue to work as normal, as do the other mailboxes that have been shared with them.
The output of get-mailboxpermissions for the problematic mailbox is the same as the output for a full working one.
If I add the mailbox to my account (as though I was using Outlook 2003) it allows me access, however I then have the situation of having the mailbox listed twice, one working the other not.
How do I get this mailbox to behave as expected?

So the problem returns. I'm not sure what we did to work around it, the users who were having the problem have left and the new batch are now encountering it.

When I create a second profile via Mail (in control panel) for the shared mailbox and then start outlook using this profile I am able to access the mailbox as expected. This is running in the context of the user who cannot access it from her
default Outlook profile.

The usual command for opening windows with bootcamp doesnt work. once in restarted my computer after it froze and it rebooted in windows automatically. i really just want to know if there is a way to take the upgrade off my laptop because it is very annoying.

Essentially, the bare issue is that you have a 500GB hard drive with only 10GB free. That is not sufficient to run the system properly. The two options you have are to move/remove files to another location, or to install a larger hard drive (eg 2TB). Drive space has nothing to do with SMC firmware, and usually large media files are to blame.
My first recommendation is this: download and run the free OmniDiskSweeper. This will identify the exact size of all your folders - you can drill down into the subfolders and figure out where your largest culprits are. For example, you might find that your Pictures folder contains both an iPhoto Library and copies that you've brought in from a camera but are outside the iPhoto Library structure. Or perhaps you have a lot of purchased video content in iTunes.
If you find files that you KNOW you do not need, you can delete them. Don't delete them just because you have a backup, since if the backup fails, you will lose all your copies.
Don't worry about "cleaners" for now - they don't save much space and can actually cause problems. Deal with the large file situation first and see how you get on.
Let us know what you find out, and if you manage to get your space back.

I've tried both. First, I tried on my pc, where iTunes had installed iCloud when it last updated. I have iTunes installed on this computer (and on my iPad and iPhone), but that wasn't the issue.
So I went online, thinking I needed a separate iCloud Apple ID, but it prompted me for my current Apple ID and gave me the message about my ID being "valid" but not an iCloud account," which, lol, was what it had asked me to do in order to create one. Hi, I just had an issue with a photoshop document, my mac book temporarily crashed the screen glitches and deleted some vital layers I had constructed (took half a day) I thought I could correct it and saved it a few times in a panic and now i really need to go back to the save I made a day ago, my time machine is not set up and I just realised my files haven't been automatically uploading to cc is there anyway I can go back a day in saves?

Video editing software only needs to save the steps taken to achieve the edit, and references the actual video files from the hard drive. So the saved files are only tiny, and it takes very little drive space to auto save to incrementing file names. I think most regular posters to this forum make a point of updating the file name of a large project every hour or so, and as a direct response to reading so many horror stories like your own. The worst story I remember was from a poster whose computer had crashed half way through saving a large PSD file. After several response, questions and answers, it turned out he was using a laptop with a failing battery. He told us that he could see the battery was getting low, but left it and left it before finally hitting Ctrl s and running off to find the laptop's power lead. When he got back the laptop had run out of power and shut down, and his PSD file was lost forever. He may have been a prime candidate to a computing Darwin Award, but his stupidity still did the rest of us a service so we could learn from his mistake.
Ouch.
My digital audio workstation works on the same principle; it creates a backup save just in case things go wrong (which--knock on wood--hasn't happened to me) and only references audio/MIDI files that are related to the project.
My advice is to always, always back up sensitive documents. There are lots of ways of doing this, from manually to automatically. (e.g., A lot of higher-end routers let you connect external storage via USB so you can run backup software that detects any changes to a monitored folder over a network and then backs up any changed/updated documents to the connected storage. I prefer to do it myself manually, though.)
