I was trying to move some of my iPhotos to a CD. It didn't work and now my computer is stuck giving me a message that there is a burn in progress. I cannot get out of iPhoto or any other site due to this message. What should I do?
I was trying to move some of my iphotos to a CD. I don't know what happened, but when I try to sign out of iphoto I get a message saying "there is a burn in progress" and it will not let me shut down my computer or get out of the iphoto site.
A better way is to select the photos in iPhoto and export to a desk top folder, right click on it and burn to disk

This has been going on for days now. I've tried everything that was suggested in the help section with no success. I can get on gmail & facebook just fine but can't access craigslist or any other regular sites I frequent. I keep getting "problem loading the page" "connection was reset" I've tried IE & google chrome & I can't even get on https on the other browsers. In trying to share music with multiple users on one computer, I followed the directions on "iTunes:How to share music between different accounts on a single computer" (http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1203). I did something wrong because i lost iTunes
Tried to put files back, but it is not the same. Plugged in my ipod and it is not recognizing my computer.

Wow so dramatic, sorry that just seemed an odd way to start a message. I would first recommend trying to perform a system restore. This hardly ever fixes any thing, but it is the easiest thing to try. Go the start menu >> All Programs >> Accessories >> System Tools >> System Restore. Then choose the date that is before the system started acting weird.
If that doesn't help yeah try a repair install of LabVIEW on what ever versions are acting funny.

I was trying to move some pictures from a folder to another, but all the pictures disappeared! Even the folder that the pictures were! I searched all my computer but I can't find them! Does anyone know what can I do??
Before I lost all pictures a message appeared asking if I wanted to replace the photos that have the same name, and I said "yes" and "do this to all"; after that a message appeared saying that there was an error and the pictures were note moved, but all my files disapeared!!
I search even the trash (it is empty) and don't know whatelse to do!

ThanksFirst of all, we'd need to know what version of Bridge, Photoshop and the OS you are using.
One of the earliest versions of Bridge was indeed known occasionally to disappear files and/or folders, but that was a long time ago, in CS2 I believe. Later versions do not do that.
Do a search for the names of the files and or folder(s), not with the pretty useless Spotlight or the Finder Search (which uses the same, limited Spotlight search engine). Instead, try the free EasyFind. http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/8707
Second, I'll assume you mean folder when you type "a file with all my photos in it". Unless you put the folder in the trash and then deliberately emptied the trash, it's more likely you just accidentally stuck the folder inside another one, or accidentally renamed it. EasyFind will find it or its contents.
If EasyFind fails to find a trace of any of the files or of the folder, then the files are indeed gone. but that 's highly unlikely unless you deliberately empied the trash.

I can't log into my iTunes account on my iPhone 5s. I logged out a few days ago to trouble shoot because I was trying to redeem some iTunes cards but when i pressed redeem nothing happened. I then tried to log back in immediately afterwards. I was unable to do so. After clicking "sign in" at the bottom of the apps main page, it brought up another menu where I clicked "Choose existing Apple ID". After pressing this the menu disappeared and nothing happened. I tried this multiple times and received the same result each time. I tried the other available option of creating a new AP ID to log in with and that one worked perfectly fine. I am clueless as to why the log in for me is either not able to load or just completely blocking me from getting back into my iTunes account on my phone. Not only can I not listen to the music I currently have, but I cannot log in to purchase the new music that I wanted to with my unused iTunes gift cards

Hi. I was trying to open some pdf files and got a message my adobe reader was deinstalled. I installed a new version of Adobe Reader for Mac and when trying to open a PDF file I am getting a message in a foreign language. Any suggestions?
Are you launching Pages from an icon in your Dock? Installing the update does not change the Dock icons & it does not remove the older versions. Go to your Applications folder & launch the new Pages from there.

I am trying to copy 3 photos from an album in iPhoto to my iPhone. I have tried to move them to PhotoStream. I "select" the photos in the Album and then click on PhotoStream in the "Share" menu at the bottom of the screen. Nothing happens. I have also tried emailing them tyo myself but iPhoto won't send the email. It tells me it doesn't recognize my ID and password. My operating is Lion on an iMac.

It was helpful in understanding how Photostream works, but, unfortunately, doesn't really reference my problem since it assumes that the photos were originated on one of my Apple devices. The photos I want to copy to my iPhone are in an album on iPhoto but I had originally downloaded them from my camera to my iMac then moved them to the album. The confusing thing for me is that they are 3 of a dozen photos takern over a period of 12 years on different digital cameras (two were taken on film and later scanned and eventually moved to the album in iPhoto) and all but three of the photos moved to photostream and are on my iPhone. It is those three, which were all taken on digital cameras and moved to the album, which I can't get to move to Photostream.

I ordered a movie on iTunes back in April, the movie didn't finish downloading, I got a message that there was an error, so a few days later, I downloaded it again. This time I used my husbands bank card, which has a different number, but is connected to our joint checking account. I noticed the duplicate charge for the one movie. Cannot get out of standby - P35 Platinum
Hello everyone,
I recently build myself a new rig, featuring a nice and shiny new P35 Platinum board. Here are the system specs:
MSI P35 Platinum - BIOS version 1.4
OCZ GameXStream SLI/Active 600W
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4Ghz overclocked to 2.88 (FSB 320)
2x 1GB 1066Mhz PC-8500 Kingston HyperX RAM (5-5-5-15) no overclock there
2x Seagate Barracuda 320GB in RAID 0
Sapphire Radeon HD2900XT, 512M etc etc
Some IDE NEC DVD+/-RW Drive
Here comes the problem. I put my system on standby, and down it went. I restarted it once, booted into Windows Vista Home Premium, 32bit without a problem. Then I turned it off again and went away for a few hours. I came back, started the machine and... nothing. At least not on the screen: it tells me that it's not receiving a signal. All the fans are spinning, and I hear a normal, single post beeb. I opened the case, and saw led3 was constantly shining. I don't know if this was the case before the problem turned up, I never bothered to look at it. The status leds on the board have shown me varying stuff, I got all greens once, and I believe it booted to windows on that occasion. I also got it green-red-red-green once, but that pattern didn't come back. I tried to clear cmos with the button, system powered down etc etc (which didn't help), and now I'm getting green-green-red-green (searching for a floppy drive), and it's not booting to windows anymore. Which seems logical after clearing cmos, because in standard bios settings, the Intel RAID controller is disabled, so it can't find Windows anymore And now the big question... how on earth can I reset the board so that it doesn't think its standby anymore, without any display support? It seems unlikely there's a defect in the graphics card or the psu doesn't supply enough juice; the rig ran just fine the other day (also on heavy gaming/video processing).

JuulIt's really strange. On one hand, the status leds indicate the system boots normally, it even booted into Vista once (heard the vista starting sound), but on the other hand, there's NOTHING on the display. Everything seems to work just fine, except for the fact that I'm not seeing anything before the problem arose, I booted several times with the memory installed. I experienced absolutely no problems at all. I also tried to boot with only one stick, didn't solve the problem. But I will try it with a 6400 stick. I just wish I'd never ever put the stupid thing on standby. I'm thinking of an S1 / S3 problem myself. Is it possible the videocard still thinks the entire system is on S3 standby and therefore refuses to output anything to the screen? I didn't adjust any of the settings in the power management section of the bios when I still had visual access to it, by the way.

II am new to Mac and was trying to transfer data from my PC to my new Macbook Pro. The connection was lost however and now my Pro is stuck on the 'Transferring you nformation' screen. How do I get out of this screen so I can attempt the connection again? Is it safe to force shut down of my Mac and will it still prompt me through all the setup process again?

If your Mac and PC are connected by Ethernet, unplug and plug that cable again. If not, you have to turn off the MacBook by holding the Power button.
In the next startup, try to transfer your files again. It's important not to interrupt the transfer process, because in most cases, you will stop it and you won't be able to resume it
