- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

I was trying to sync and update my phone with ITunes, about 5 minutes into the process everything stopped. Now the phone does not work, it will not turn on or off, the screen of the phone shows the Apple Logo and a straight line. ITunes seems to not "see" the phone. Suggestions??

That message usually indicates that your phone was hacked or jailbroken to unlock it.
Then when you updated your phone it locked back up to the original carrier. -

I was trying to update my iOS to 7.1 but I can't, I have internet connection but if requires WiFi? before I can update my OS just using my phone internet but now I can't. Does OS 7.1 really require WiFi? Thanks!
The iPhone requires wi-fi to update if you try to update over the air, since the phone needs to reboot, thus disconnecting itself. You can update via iTunes and the computer, but you would not be able to tether to the phone for the internet connection, since the phone would disconnect. So, you can either update via wi-fi and the phone, or you can update with a computer that has an internet connection other than the phone.

I was trying to update itunes on my computer that has windows vista. during the update I received an error message; so I uninstalled itunes and reinstalled it. the instatlation process stopped with this message: "Service 'Apple Mobile Device' failed to start. If you'll look at the little toolbar above the reply window, you will see an 'A' to the left of the little smiley face. So, if you want to post a link to another site or thread here, first copy that URL (have your cursor in the address bar of that site and hit Command + C to copy. Then come back to your reply window, click on the A and you'll get a window in which you can simply hit Command + V (pasting the URL there) - hit insert and you'll see this:
