I was updating my iphone, but my computer shut down half way through restoring my old settings. When I turned my computer back on, i tried to continue with the restore but the original backup i was trying to use wasn't there anymore, it had been replaced.

Try resetting the SMC.
MacBook and MacBook Pro with a battery you can remove
Shut down the computer.
Disconnect the MagSafe power adapter from the computer, if it's connected.
Remove the battery.
Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
Release the power button.
Reconnect the battery and MagSafe power adapter.
Press the power button to turn on the computer
To reset the SMC on newer Mac portables with a battery you cannot remove
Shut down the computer.
Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
Note: The LED on the MagSafe power adapter may change states or temporarily turn off when you reset the SMC.

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".

Exporting completes as normal but exported file is corrupted half way through?

This is a new error I am encountering - I have previously been able to render the full file with no difficulty.
I queue the Video as normal and leave it to run in the background while I do other tasks.
The render completes as normal (and appears to render the entire file - from the preview) and I can play the first part of the video in the Video in Windows Media Player but after a certain amount of time I get the following Error:
"Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file."
I have done 2 renders - on the first it played fine then errored at 5:25 and the second it errored at 9:34
I have also tested the files in quicktime and the screen goes black at those points.
Format: H.264
Preset: HD 720p 25
Use maximum render quality is ticked.
File is 22Mins at 985MB
Using Adobe Premier Pro CS6
Version 6.0.5
I am making sure it is updated now but any Hints as to what might be causing the issue would be helpful.

I realise it is not the best player, But as this is the first time I have had any issue playing this file type in it, and most likely the client I give the file to will also be using Windows Media Player, this is not the resolution I was hoping for.

I updated my phone to IOS 6 which then required a restore. I have attempted this multiple times but keep getting stuck about half way through the restore with time remaining going up to 12hrs or more. Can anyone help?

I imagine a ton of people are attempting to activate after the update, and the server is getting overloaded. Simple patience, maybe keep trying, and if possible, try a little later. Think of it as all those people lining up at Apple Stores + about a million more.

Restore to factory settings. That will use the latest iOS and then restore from a backup.
Never, never, never attempt an update/upgrade on any portable computer device without plugging it into its AC charger.

If you have a backup of your information on your computer, I would suggest putting your phone into recovery mode, by holding down the home key and keeping it held down while you connect it by usb into your computer with itunes running. Keep the home button held down until it indicates recovery mode, and proceed with the restore.
