I cannot open itune from my PC, i keep getting the message said"the itune library.itl file is locked in a locked disc. or you don't have permission to this file" how do I unlock it?
I was receiving the same message. I had to uncheck the box that allowed me to sync my phone to my computer (PC) via wi-fi. After that, I have not had any problems. I am speculating that this issue is probably related to the wi-fi problems people are experiencing with iOS 6.

My Ipad 2 was working fine, after syncronizing with iTunes the contacts App froze completely, in the Settings everything works fine but if you go to the mail settings the entitre settings freezes. I am usng Outlook but can't send mails. Any body has a solution?

Hello All,
To anyone with the same problem described above, on THEIR iPad (if it is running iOS 7.0.2):
Go to Settings; Mail, Contacts, Calendars; DELETE your *******@btinternet.com e-mail account, that you originally set up either using 'Other', or the 'BT' option which I am sure was in the list previous to the iOS 7 update.
Then ADD a NEW account choosing YAHOO from the list of options. DO NOT USE 'OTHER'.
Enter the correct details just as you (almost certainly) had already done in your previous attempts using 'other'.
When you see the 'verifying......' and 'the blue ticks' you should be able to exit settings and open your mail app and then receive all your 'old' e-mails again, AND be able to SEND as well.
All my 'old' e-mails, were NOT found in the 'old e-mail' folder though. THEY are still in my inbox.
So this fix worked for me.
After I deleted my account from 'OTHER' and put it in Yahoo, I like other people also ended up with more folders.
I hope this works for you on YOUR Apple devices.

I have a iphone 4s with ios 8.3 and I used to be able to sync only a week or two of emails from outlook email. Now it won't let me do that and it syncs all my inbox. How can I change it back to sync less. I can't find the right place.
I understand, as that was the place I would change it before 8.3 but now that option of Mail Days to Sync is not available? Any idea why that would be?

My husband uses adobe cs5. The clone tool isn't working and after resetting the tools adobe bridge now goes to picasa. How can we make the clone tool work and have bridge go to cs5 not picasa?

I updated iTunes 10.3.1 today, and now it won't let me openitunes it keeps saying error 7 (windows error 14001) and also says (apple mobile failed to startverify significant privileges to start system services) I have unstalled it severaltimes, tried repairing it also switched off all security software and checkedall files are deleted in local disk (program file) but still no look. Re: Can't install iTunes 12.1 on Windows 7 64-bit. I know they look a little daunting, but the process of generating the logs themselves isn't that hard to do. Extracting useful information from them is still a challenge but maybe something will leap out. I pod touch 5th generation was working fine (Not sure what the last ios i downloaded was it should be ios 8 or higher). The battery died so i charged it. Now that it is charged when i hold the power button the screen turns dark blue as if it's powering on and the apple logo is about to appear but it never does nor do any other type of images on the screen. If i hold the home button Siri will say "Siri is not available please connect to internet" but there is still no image on the screen. I've tried holding down the home and power button it restart it but doing this just gave me the same results. How do i fix this problem? What's wrong with my i pod?

The scanner works fine with Explorer and worked fine with Firefox before the upgrade. I find it disconcerting that you upgrade something that then changes how I have to use my computer in ways that have nothing to do with Firefox. At least we should have been warned prior to the upgrade that this was going to happen.

Okay. I was given the advice to make sure I had the latest Java. So I uninstalled all versions of Java. Reinstalled latest version of Java 6 update 23. Tried to reinstall Mozilla Firefox and got as far as the box that says: Import wizard settings and data. The curser bounces back and forth from the options microsoft internet explorer and don't import anything. It won't let me choose. It just keeps bouncing back and forth from those two options. Wow that was really quick, thank you so much. Im not sure at all which version it was because i said it was around 4 years ago he bought it. I know it isn't under his username, since he's a PC person (ugh) so i know its probably registered to one of our actual names. isn't there some way to look it up since we did register it, because I'm not even sure where the disks are from when we bought it (we've moved a lot and also have two storage lockers, i know i would have kept it with other disks) but my cd rom drive is actually broken on my computer as well ( i think it got stepped on and is now squished and won't eject or run disks.)
So is there anyway they can look up that its registered to one of our names since we did register it when we bought and installed it, or do i really have to find the disk with some sort of proof of purchase (i know there would be no receipt after all this time)

Do a factory reset and try again.
If it doesn't work, turn the wireless back on in the 2wire. There is nothing wrong with doing that. Lock it to channel 1 say and the TC to channel 11.
Does the phone now work?
If not the issue is the phone .. the upgrade has killed it... I suggest you take it back to apple for checking. -

Before i downloaded Firefox 4, i could open up mulitable screens and move them from screen to screen..I have one computer with 2 screens side by side..Say i open up your browser and then open up another browser session,I could then move that browser session to the other screen,,Great for researching and looking at different websites side by side!!Now i cant even shrink it and move that browser to the other side(other screen)..Before i could!!!

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
