I understand the HDMI port has stopped working on your Pavilion G6 notebook.
It would help to know exactly which notebook you are using and the installed operating system. For information on finding your product and model numbers click here: How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number? To see which version of Windows you are using click here: Which Windows operating system am I running?
If this is a new issue I would start by doing a system restore. This will undo any changes to the operating system and uninstall any Windows updates, programs, or program updates installed after the restore date. This will not delete your personal files.
If that doesn't work try updating the drivers for your graphics card (GPU). You can find the drivers for your notebook here: HP - Drivers & Downloads.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

TNSping ok..can't connect with sqlPlus ...just stopped working

The lister just stopped working...
I can TNSPing ok...I just can't connect with toad or sqlplus anymore from another computer..
I can connect with sqlplus on the same computer...just not from any other computers.

I will be using a HDMI cable to connect an Apple TV box and a Comcast cable TV box to my TV. My TV has only one HDMI port.
To do this I will need a 2x1 HDMI splitter or a 2x1 HDMI auto switch (preferred).
?Is there any Apple TV HDMI port voltage?
When using a HDMI auto switch to connect two devices to a HDMI TV, the
Auto switch cable box only works for components that do not output continuous voltage over HDMI port when turned off.
Do you know of any other solutions? Componets? Actual expierances?

Cable : HDMI switches expand the number of available HDMI ports on a high definition television allowing connection of cable boxes, Blu-ray players, and game consoles. A side benefit is that cable clutter is also eliminated by running a single HDMI cable to your HDTV from a switch and relocating the HDMI ports to a concealed location. The problem with most HDMI switches is that you have to either get up to push a button, or hunt for the remote control, to switch sources. The true mark of any great switching component is an ability to perform its function and remain transparent in its operation. This automatic HDMI switch is a plug-and-play away from offering everything you are looking for in an HDMI switch. Select a single output from up to three devices for signal delivery to your HDTV. Smart operation provides complete control for connect-and-forget operation. Powering on a device gives it output priority over the other devices. By powering down the device in use, output priority is returned to the last powered on device. Note: Auto switch function only works for components that do not output continuous voltage over HDMI port when turned off.

Press the Power button for about 10 seconds to shutdown the computer. Wait a couple of minutes then restart. If it restarts OK, then immediately repair the hard drive:
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions - Mavericks, Lion/Mountain Lion
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported then click on the Repair Permissions button. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu. -

I do have the same problem with my MBP 15" (late 2013) on the right USB-Port as well. It still works when I use the left one.
As the external hard drive has its own power source I suggest it doesn't have anything to do with the difference regarding the provided power of the right and left side...(?)

New Adobe Photoshop elements 11-can not share pictures. I do use AOL email. Get error of "Elements 11 Organ. has stopped working, I have looked into sharing tab and my only option is Adobe email settings. Hi, I've tried charging continuously for 72 hours. But to no avail. It just stopped working out of the blue. Actually I believe I let the battery die off completely. When I tried charging it again, it never worked.

Playbook 64gb HDMI just stopped working
the hdmi on the playbook has just stopped working for no apparant reason , is this a common fault on playbooks ! please help as its been used around 4 times for movie watching and is in mint condition.
It's not common...at least I've not seen any reports of it here.

Try the monitor on another computer, Mac or Windows, to see if it works at all. -

I can't connect to Wi-Fi - keeps timing out. No problem connecting from other laptops / phones. Stopped working after I did a system upgrade. What can I do? I am on OS X Yosemite.
Take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried, until the problem is resolved. Some of these steps are only possible if you have control over the wireless router.
Step 1
Turn Wi-Fi off and back on.
Step 2
Restart the router and the computer. Many problems are solved that way.
Step 3
Change the name of the wireless network, if applicable, to eliminate any characters other than letters and digits. You do that on your router via its web page, if it's not an Apple device, or via AirPort Utility, if it is an Apple device.
Step 4
Run the Network Diagnostics assistant.
Step 5
In OS X 10.8.4 or later, run Wireless Diagnostics and fix the issues listed in the Summary, if any.
Step 6
Back up all data before proceeding.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
Enter the name of your wireless network in the search box. You should have one or more "AirPort network password" items with that name. Make a note of the name and password, then delete all the items. Quit Keychain Access. Turn Wi-Fi off and then back on. Reconnect to the network.

Make a note of all your settings for Wi-Fi in the Network preference pane, then delete the connection from the connection list and recreate it with the same settings. Select Join other network from the Network Name menu, then select your network. Enter the password when prompted and save it in the keychain.

I was in the middle of updating to 7.0.3 and Itunes stopped working. Now my phone is stuck in limbo (apple logo with status bar under) My power button doesnt work (of course) How do I get it back to normal?
I have same issue. I click on the home button and Wake/sleep at the same time for 30 seconds or more and then the phone entered in Recovery mode. It is erasing my content now and installing the update. Let´s see how this ends. I have iCloud, iTunes match, and backups from previos versions, hope I can restore all my content.
Otherwise I´ll go to the Genius Bar to do a checkup.

It did not work the first time... The iPhone4 kept in limbo. Then I did disconnect as suggested above and tried again to enter in Recovery mode. This second time it works. And after restoring the iPhone4 with 7.0.3, it asked me if I want to recover from backup. I did recover from my latest back up and now it is syncing the content.

I have DVD Player installed, v4.6.5. Some commercial DVDs aren't playing on it, but they do play on my other Macs with OS 10.5.x or higher. THAT version of DVD Player is v5.0.3. Will v5.0.3 play under OS 10.4.11? If yes, how can I download it?
