I went to iTunes store and ordered an audio book, clicked on buy then download. It said it downloaded it but I don't see the icon on my phone. Where is my audiobook???

If you downloaded to your iphone, then open the Music app and click More>Audiobooks

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

I need to authorize my computer and I can't find the link for it. I looked under Itunes store and there are no links that say "advanced" or "authorize computer"

I got some books from the itunes store and put them into my library. I created a playlist so that I could burn them to cds. It won't even play the book, there are no contents. How do I get the contents of the book?

Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tend to indicate a problem with your network.
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Apologies for poor syntax, my arm's a little sore. Yes, one computer (old) is vista, new is Windows 8. Shouldn't I be able to import the whole library using home sharing? Am I doing something wrong? Thank you in advance
I am having the same issue. I recently purchased a new laptop and I have spent the last 3 days using the home share to slowly transfer all 22,000 songs. However yesterday morning when I turned on both computers to continue the process I am having the following issue:
both computers are running the same windows OS (8)
both computers are running the same version of itunes
both computers are logged in with the same apple ID
both computers have home sharing turned on
Now however I can see the NEW computers itunes library in the drop down box on the OLD computer, however I can not see the OLD computers itunes library on the NEW computer. I can no longer see "HOME SHARES" on the drop down LIBRARY list on the new computer. I've taken the following steps to correct the error:
reset the router
completely shut down BOTH computers and brought them back up
reopened itunes
re-logged in on both PC's
re-activated both PC's with home share
The articles and help from the apple sites are worthless and it says if you can't see a library just turn home sharing off then back on - I've completed the above steps NUMEROUS times. After spending 4 days on transferring my music I really do not want to have to start over by using an external hard drive and then importing that way. I would like some help on discovering why the new laptop is no longer seeing my old library. (When it has been working up to this point)

How Do I know it is updating? I clicked the "19.99" and I was signed in, but it never made me agree to anything, it just says updating. I don't see any progress bar or anything.
Look on the Launchpad icon in your Dock. Or switch over to the Purchases side in App Store. If it's downloading it will take a while since Mountain Lion is over 4 GBs.

The airport icon (upper right portion of the screen) says I am connected to my airport; but, the Itunes window doesn't show the icon (rectangle with an arrow in it) that allows me to select the stereo system speakers that are attached to the airport. What's up with that?
If the modem is also a router, either use the modem in bridge and run pppoe client on the TC.. that is assuming ADSL or similar eg vdsl. If it is cable service.. and the modem is a router, then bridge the TC.. go to internet page and select connect by ethernet and below that set connection sharing to bridge.
Please tell us more about the modem if the above gives you issues. -

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.
As far as the icon itself, have you checked all of the home screens (swipe right-left). Also - it could be in a folder (but shouldn't have been placed in off the bat). -

If it's AppleTV 2 or 3 (black) and you're used to an icon in iTunes from silver AppleTV1, then the newer versions are different - no icon in iTunes unless restoring via micro USB to USB cable.

No you cannot assume that because they are on the iMac that they will be saved. If you delete photos from your photo stream, they will be deleted everywhere. If you saved the photos from the photo stream into an album in iPhoto or a folder on your hard drive, them you can delete the photo stream photos on both devices and the photos will be stored on the Mac. You can turn the photo stream off on both devices after saving the photos in Settings>iCloud>Photo Stream>Off. Or settings>General>Usage>Storage>Photos and Camera>Swipe across Photo Stream and the red delete button will pop up.
As for the storage issue, you may have a good deal of storage being used by "other". You can check that by connecting the iPad to the Mac, launch iTunes, click on your iPad name under the device heading and then look at the capacity bar at the bottom. "Other" will vary according to how many documents that you have on your iPad, email messages, text messages, contacts, Safari History, notes, and all other "stuff" associated with your apps, but not the apps themselves.
If your "other" is larger than 3-4 GB, you may have corrupt data, files, or photos on the iPad and that can cause that "other" to balloon. Theoretically, if you have many, many files like Keynote presentation files, Pages documents, Numbers documents, etc., you could have a fair amount of storage being used by those files and there may be not corruption issue at all going on. The only way to know for sure is by connecting the iPad to iTunes and take a look. -
i would like to email pictures from my photo album in ipad but the logo of email is not there to send. I can only choose FB, copy and print. what happen to my email logo?
I wouldn't want to say exactly, however I would imagine that it has to do with the fact you use the same Apple ID on both devices. Since Facetime was activated on the phone, with the number, and then activated on the iPad with the email and same Apple ID, they are somehow linked. I'm not sure that you can separate it without having a different Apple ID on the two devices. Otherwise you can look at this support document http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3367 and see if that helps you any.
