Make sure you do NOT buy the Verizon model - it works on CDMA technology and will not connect to cellular networks in the UK. If you want the 3G, make sure to buy the AT&T model. Or of course you can buy the WiFi-only model if you don't need cellular data.

I have an ipod touch 3rd generation 64gb and it has iOS 5.1.1 and it will connect to my WiFi for a few seconds and then nothing will load. It says I have full connection bbut nothing works. Reset the iPod and connect to its syncing computer. It it shows in iTunes restore the iPod.
Next see if placing the iPod in recovery mod will allow iTunes t see the iPod so you can restore the iPod. For recovery mode see:

When I click on download button, it goes right to the "thanks for downloading" splash page,and yet nothing has downloaded -- no download file box comes up, nothing.
I stupidly uninstalled the version of iTunes I had working on my notebook when the update kept failing and am now unable to get anything happening at all.I had probs with 7.2. Reloaded 7.1 works fine. I think 7.2 needs some more work before it will work for me.

why is my mac so slow i have cleansed and cleaned it is a 2010 mac mini i5 but it runs like a 20 year old pc i have only had it for a few months and it was straight out of the box
I'm thinking that you have a > Mac mini (Mid 2011) - Technical Specifications because the 2010 model's only have Core 2 Duo processors and the 2011 had the first i5 processor.
2 GB of RAM is the minimum requirement for Mountain Lion, but it's hardly enough to really enjoy doing anything else.

My husband got a new ipad and set up his own apple id without looking into the implications of that. Now I want to sync this ipad with our itunes so we can access it on here, but our itunes has a different apple id. Any way to do this?
You should be able to accept this message, it will cause existing music, photos (not camera roll) and videos (also excluding those in camera roll) to be removed and replaced with those from this computer. All other user data on the iPad will be unaffected.

I have owned an ipad for a few months and taken photos without synching to Photstream. Having just done this I now see photos are removed from iCloud after 30 days. Are these recoverable or lost for good?

The 30 day limit, as I understand it, prevails after you reach one of the prevailing number limits. I've yet to reach one of those limits over the past few years and my PhotoStream is still intact.
However, it's a good idea to move your photos into iPhoto which is your on-disk library. And, this library can be backed up locally, thus, preserving your photos. -

Yes, as long as you purchase the GSM version (AT&T) and your Indonesian carrier supports an iPad with a micro-sim. Unlike the iPhone in the USA, the iPad is not locked to a carrier.

Mac Book Pro with OS X Mountain Lion will not recognize headset mic via Rosetta Stone software. What should I do?

I am using version 3. I have used the apple/settings on my mac. The headset is appearing there and it is selected there. In the Rosetta Stone select/find window nothing shows up. It is blank. But the volume bars react when I speak and sliding the fader has the expected effect of raising and lowering the input. There is just no device showing up as the selected input device in the Rosetta Stone software.
I have done everything my Mac instructions say to uninstall and reinstall the Rosetta Stone software properly.
I'm guessing the problem may be in the licensing. I installed it first on the old hard drive that crashed. Maybe that used the terms of the license and now installing it in the new hard drive violates the license somehow. So that's why it will not work properly. It allows me to open the lessons and asks me if I want to continue from where I left off. I click continue. Then it asks me if I want to register the software. I click the tab for already registered software and click continue. Then nothing happens. So again I click on the button that indicates I want to continue lessons from where I left off. The same process happens with it asking me if I want to register the software. And it will not proceed through a lesson. -
I bought a iphone 4 a few months ago, used from a store .. i had to currently restore and update my phone today due to it saying connect to itunes it wouldnt do anything else so i did other wise, now my phone turns on but wont go past the apple id and the orginal owner still had there apple account in the phone and its asking for that account to actiavte the phone again and not mine , im stuck and dont no what to do i just want my phone to turn on again

thanks !!!You have encounter Activation Lock, the antitheft feature of the iPhone. The previous owner did not remove the phone from their account. The phone cannot be used until they do. Return to the store and let them sort this out. It is very unusual for someone to "forget" to disable activation lock, as it is necessary to do so to erase personal information on the phone. So it is quite likely you bought a stolen phone.

It does not need to be unlocked. Simply replace the Verizon SIM card with one you pick up while traveling.
