I will be playing my shuffle and it will click and then not play

i cant even get through one song before there is a click noise like a phone hanging up and then it will not play anything.

I just went through this same process.... I changed my credit card, double checked billing info, changed my password, I restored my phone, but the misake I made was I kept restoring it from my back up.... Finally I went to Apple Store.. and sad to say that you have to do a restore, and DO NOT restore from back up.
I used Gmail so I didnt loose contacts or email.. but I did loose all my text messages and history of that.
So, I had the EXACT same problem and it was a software issue.. you have to restore your phone to factory settings and start all over.. BLOWS I know!

My roboform program won't work on latest version of FireFox. I want to use previous version and then not update for now.

I purchased a lifetime version of roboform. With the latest version of Firefox this program will no longer work.
So I want to reinstall the previous version of Firefox and then not have it be automatically updated.

I compose an iMessage with the destination as my email address and I attach 2 photos I want on my PC. I send them several times from my iPhone 5C but they never arrive. I look at my ipad later and realize that it's iMessage app is getting ( and swallowing) these emails. I then turn the ipad off. Still can't get the photos through because iphone is now getting them on it's iMessage. I turn off the iMessage feature and try to send photos from text msging. Phone tells me it can't send photos unless iMessage it turned on. What happened to regular MMS text messaging? I go and try to send photos as an email attachment and see that there is no option to attach from the stupid email program. I look up online to learn about the brave new world of apple attachments and send them.

The email program on my iphone is not configured to remove messages from the server.

Did not work. I've selected iMessage to ON and left it. After a few hours I recieved a message "activation unsuccessful. Turn on iMessage to try again". This has been going on for the past 3 days.

so...my ipod shuffle is werid.
I didn't use it for awhile because I couldn't find it ( my fault ;p)
then when I found it , I charged it and it would work fine, then all of a sudden it would blink red on and off really quickly then not work at all! Then I charged it again and it would work fine. That's not normal..is it?

3rd Shuffle and Still Not Working

So about 4 weeks ago I bought an iPod shuffle of the Apple store, as soon I connected the iPod to my computer it didn't work and I would get this "Disk read, write error". So I sent for a replacement. I recieved the replacement, and plugged it into the computer. Same problem, so I rang tech support, they followed me through some settings and what not and that didn't solve it. So they told me to go test it an Apple store and if they found it didn't work, they would make sure the next one they send to me 'WILL' work(not to be a pain but shouldn't they have done that the second time and if I wanted/could travel to an Apple store, I would of just bought the iPod there). So I did the next best thing, I gave my 2nd iPod to my mate who has a shuffle (that works) so he could test it, he had the same problems as me. So i thought, maybe 3rd time lucky. So I received the replacement suffle yesterday, I just tested it and guess what? It doesn't work.
I don't know what to do, at this point in time I just want my money back. I don't want to have to deal with this any more. Anyone got suggestions on what I can do?

EDIT: Oh forgot to say, the amber light always stays on like it's still charging, after it's been on for a lonog time and it gets quite hot. I have also tested it on my 4 other computers I have at home.

I have problems with an Ipod shuffle also NIB.
Some of u seem fairly knowledgable so maybe u have suggestions.
1. I've removed the software (itunes&ipod) multiple times using unistall, windows installer cleanup, and Norton Cleansweep. (also removed Quicktime).
2. I've restarted the ipodservice.exe and terminated it.
3. I've deleted every file folder under program files.
4. Set customer loading boot so nuothing was running but primary services and itunes stuff & ipod.
My problem. Ipod Shuffle interfaces with Windows but not with ituenes. (Its labeled as a Sigmatel MSCN USB Device is that normal????)

I can not restore my iphone 4 it says could not be restored. It shuts off and then back on. It will restore and then not work. any ideas?

My phone is basically a paper weight. I have tried to restore it and it won't restore. It did restore for about 2 mins and then it shut off and everything was erased again. I am at my wits end I just want to throw this thing against a way. Any suggestions would be great!! Thank you in advance

have a 3rd gen iPad.... got a blue screen while using it (on the top the pixels were flickering).
tried to restart the device... - Hard press of lock button and home screen - the ipad did switch off but didnt turn up back again!
curretnly its dead and does not turn up.....

Ok, so my four week old iphone 3gs just up and stopped working. i got an alert on the iphone screen saying "iphone cannot make or receive calls. restore in itunes" so i tried restoring it and it didnt work. i updated my itunes, tried again, and it almost worked.. for about two minutes and then the same thing happened. whats going on? anybody know?

I would try a complete reset of your phone. Just hold your home and sleep buttons until the screen goes blank and the apple icon shows up. If that doesn't work, you need to head off to an Apple Store. One of two things will happen: first, they fix it and show you how they fixed it (important in case it happens again), or, they give a replacement phone. You'll be happy either way.

Error 1602 when updating to IOS4 and then not recognizing in Itunes

Started the update process this morning to update my Iphone 3G to IOS4, after about 2 hours it came up with the error "The Iphone could not be restored, an unknown error occured (1602)" after this the phone was stuck on the screen with connect to itunes therefore i was unable to use the phone. Tried connecting it to Itunes but it would not recognise the Iphone, tried everything from uninstalling Itunes and changing the drivers. Installed Itunes on a different PC and it recognised the IPHONE and updated it to IOS4. However by doing this on another PC it has now lost all my contacts, messages, apps, and music.grrrr...Only trouble is i still cannot connect it to the other PC. Both Pc's are running Windows 7 32bit. any help would be much appreciated.

Anybody out there that is pulling their hair out of the issue with Itunes not recognising the phone, go to Device Manager click on Portable Devices, Right Click on Apple Iphone, click on Update Driver, make sure you select Update Automatically, and then it will install the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver (Please Note this will be displayed in the Universal Serial Bus controllers section). Should then display in itunes, if not restart itunes. Where i was going wrong was i was telling the system to search in the apple drivers folder in C:\Program Files\Common Files, and these would not install due to a conflict with the Windows Picture Drivers. Sluggish and then (Not Responding) in RH 8 -- what are the lilo files?

RH 8 has had severe performance problems with a particular Help Project for the past few days:
like 3 or 4 words behind my typing.
not even opening a topic if I click on it
not closing any of the open topics when I click the X in the topic tab
Today when it quit working altogether and sent a log file off to Adobe, I peeked into the content before it was sent. I'm using version 8.0.0.203
Further, a temp directory has 1.35 mb in 178 files all of which read lilo<7-digit number>, all of which were generated today. I know because yesterday I cleaned out my temp directories...including thousands(?) of lilo1515548 files, and today, with virtually no "work" accomplished (outside of publishing to a different server location), I have a whole new crop. The guts of these files is machine code (squiggles, with telltale references to ColdFusion, JobReady, RoboHelp,RoboInfo,FreeHand, FrameMaker,Homesite,LiveCycle,Flashcast,PostScript etc.). The only Adobe product I have installed* and am using is RoboHelp 8. It makes me wonder...what's going on with RH? Are there product updates I don't know about?
*except, of course Adobe Reader, but I'm not using that.
Does RH 8 'get sick' (I am working on a project I created with a try-b4-u-buy version of RH 7. Is this causing the hiccup?
I found PeterG's suggestion to add the BaseCSS_res.dll to my RH ...\RoboHTML\en_us folder. And that helped A LOT! But I want to know how to address the lilo files that are growing like cancer in my temp folders.
PS: I cross posted this because the first and only Adobe hit for 'lilo' was in the InDesign SDK. So I posted there first. But, since I'm not using that product nor doing SDK stuff, I'm adding this to the RH user group.

Where are your projects when you are working on them? Have you applied the patches to version 8? (There have been two released)
If you say your projects are on a local area network drive, there's your issue. Move them to your local C drive and stand in awe of the speed improvement. (not to mention reliability)

I can not use the new Itunes. I have managed to erase my shuffle and can not get any songs from my library onto my ipod shuffle now!!!!!! Tutorials do not help!!!!

Ineed a manual to use the new Itunes. The simple easy to use version is gone. The new version is TOO complicated !!!!!!!
