I have already registered Adobe CS5. I wiped my mac and need to reinstall CS5 how do I do this off line. I have the disk but was told I could just download direct from Adobe because I've already registered my product.

Spermium what are you trying to do online or offline exactly? If you are attempting to reinstall the software after wiping your Mac then you can download a fresh copy of the installation files from Download CS5 products.

Wiped my computer and need to reinstall CS6

I recently needed to wipe my computer (Mac) due to software corruption. I didn't have a chance to uninstall or deactivate my CS6. Now I need to reinstall, but can't because my serial number has already been used. Any advice for how I can reinstall the software?

Yeah, I have had to replace my hard drive, therefore nothing on it. I had serious issues installing it the first time, so I'm not surprised I'm having issues again. When you insert the CD are you able to go through the step that were there the first time? In the process of finding my discs to give it a go. I was originally told I wouldn't need them, but that isn't working.
I was hoping because it was registered I could redownload it rather than attempting the discs again, unfortunately not the case it seems.

You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.

That is not a requirement. If your CS5 is an Upgrade all you need to install and activate it is your CS5 serial and the serial number of you product that your upgrading. That product does not have to be installed. If It is installed you would not need to enter its serial when you install CS5 and activate it. If it is not installed you need to enter its serial during the install and activation of CS5.

If your Mac came preinstalled with Lion or Mountain Lion after you install your new blank HDD, restart the Mac while pressing/holding the COMMAND+OPTION+R keys until you see a spinning globe. Once you get your S/N and download the software, back them up to a CD or backup HD. Not doing that is like purchasing a CD, installing software, and tossing the CD in the trash.

You can activate your software on two computers. If you need to install it on a third machine (because one of the first two crashed), then you need to https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html to reset your activation count.
If you just want to reinstall it on one of the first two machines, then just reinstall and re-activate it with your serial number.
