I wish iOS7 had a way for families to have a common account find my iphone
iOS6 allowed secondary icloud accounts access to Find My iPhone. That has been removed with iOS7. So, that forces us to all use the same master account for that app and others like pictures OR just have separate accounts, one for each device. In order to manage them, i will just need to type the login credentials for each device in order to find, lock or erase the device.
I don't know what problem you are facing using unique Apple ID. You each get 5 GB of free iCloud storage.
Let face it, how often you need to find, lock or erase the devices?

Okay, I had not finished the update on my device when I first answered your question. I just now got a chance to get back on here.
Open the mail app. When you see the Mailboxes screen, over to the upper right you should see Edit. Tap on that. The next screen allows you to select what to display on the previous screen. You should be able to select the individual mailboxes. Mine came over that way when I updated.

Unfortuneatly, you would have to give up your unlimited plan. In the US you would have to get the 2GB plan for $25 and add the teathering plan for $20 more. The teathering plan would give you another 2GB of data for a total 4GB.

My iCloud on my phone is under another persons account I however am no longer with them and want to cut all ties and is there any way for me to change my iCloud account or will it affect my phone? And it's photos, apps, music?
You have to delete the iCloud account but you can keep all your data such as Contacts, Calendars etc. when you delete the account you will prompted to "Keep on my iPhone".
All your purchased content (like apps and music from iTunes Store) belongs to the original ID and you have to re-Purchase them under your Apple ID.
Photos in Camera Roll remains in Camera Roll.
Photos in photo stream that are not in Camera Roll must be saved in Camera Roll.
Photo that previously synced from iTunes remains in photo library until you synced with another iTunes library (another computer).
Also sign out from iMessages, FaceTime and Home sharing (Settings>Music) -

Thanks for the reply however this does not help. When I check the cloud it shows that I have only 20 photos. In reality I had a lot more than that. All the photos on the cloud are those that I have taken since I was at the Apple store. When I check cloud storage usage on my phone it says that I have 5.1 GB of photos. This is a lot more than the 20 that I can see. I am not sure what the Apple employee did to my phone.
Still looking for answers. It is really too bad that I can not talk to an Apple person to get help since they messed up my phone. -

Why can you not login into the account ? You should be able to if you remember the account's password, if you can't then you can get it reset e.g. by answering your account's security questions : http://iforgot.apple.com
If you can't reset it via your security questions then contact Support in your country, they should be able to reset your password (and security questions) for you (after they've verified your id and that it's your account).

My daughter and I both have iPhone 4s'. Last night she switched to ios7 and I am still using ios6. I use the find my iPhone app to keep track of her and since the update it no longer works. Her phone says its on but when I try and locate it from either my phone or laptop it shows it offline. Any suggestions. It's my only peace of mind! Thanks!
Does she have her own iCloud account? You can have more than one iCloud account installed on a device, and some users install a secondary iCloud account which is common to others in the family to allow "Find My iPhone" to be used from one account while keeping separate iCloud contacts, mail, etc.
But with iOS 7 although you can still have multiple iCloud accounts installed, only the "primary" iCloud account supports "Find my iPhone". So if her iCloud account is the primary, you can no longer track her from your iCloud account. Is that what happened in your case? -

My iPhone 4 has been lost recently. I had turned my Find my iPhone enabled and my passcode was also on. Now that I lost my phone, the person who find my phone cannot be tracked in my assumption. Because, he can never get connected to other wifi when unknown passcode is there. So, please tell me any suggestions that helps me find my iPhone or track it.

If who ever has your phones - tries to unlock it while connected in any manner - you will be able to see the location on the icloud site

My kids ipod touch 4 has been missing for 2 months I tried the find iphone app but her battery is dead so I get no sound or signal, is there any other ways to find it??
Only the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.

I am replacing a G5 tower I have with a MacBook and I am of course going down in HD size. This means I will be using an external HD connected to a AirportExtreme BaseStation so all of my Macs can utilize it.
I plan on putting my iTunes library on this external drive (roughly 90GB in size), and I would like to be able to rate/edit music from either of my two laptops; is this possible?
If so, how would I go about doing that? And what, if anything, should I be mindful of? I don't want to lose my ratings or other info.

So, you can select the same library file from both computers. The iTunes Library file can be on either computer or on the ext HD, next to your music folder.
An iTunes Library file can only be accessed by one user at a time. That's the only limitation, though it may not be relevant to your intended use.
