I wish to revert to previous version of Firefox. Version 5.0 is not compatible with Google Toolbar

I upgraded to Firefox 5.0 and now have no Google Toolbar. I'm not sure what else is disabled as incompatible, but I want to revert to my previous version. How can I do this without losing my settings and plugins? I could not find version 4.0.1 on Mozilla's website. Only version 5.0 appears to be available.

Firefox version 4 (4.0, 4.0.1) is no longer supported.
'''The Google Toolbar is no longer supported by Google in Firefox 5 and up''', you may be able to get what you want from it for a limited time, the directions to install the Google Toolbar were posted before Google actually announced dropping support.

In any case you can find several alternative solutions, and you can start working on them now, see

If this solves your problem then mark as solved, if there is an aspect that is not covered directly or through searching extensions on that page, or other searching that you can try, please indicate what is not covered and describe what it does and we will try to help you with a Firefox solution. Don't expect to see anything that is an exact replacement of a Google Toolbar feature. Likewise if you have additional solutions not covered others would likely want to hear about them.

I got this error after upgraded with patch p5696353_10202_AIX64-5L
I tried to log in but there was a pop up dialog told me about this error. Do I have to install new client version?? I cannot find owb client 10.2.0.2.0 on the download site. Would you guys help me to get though this please?? Any solotion if I still used owb client version 10.2.0.1??
    Rgds,
    Godtee

    Hi Godtee,
you have to use the same version on the client as on the server.
There is only one software package containing owb client and server components. Use it for server and client side installations.
It seems that you have patched your server installation to 10.2.0.2.0. Apply this patch to your client installation and you will be able to connect to the repository with version 10.2.0.2.0
    Regards,
    Carsten.

  • Firefox is asking me to update to v5 but are saying this version is not compatible with Google. Has this problem been resolved yet?

I updated my browser to v5 and was told that it would not be compatible with Google at this time. I was not able to log onto Google nor bring up the Google toolbar and related search ability.
I have therefore switched back to v4.01 and I now can use Google. Is this new version 5 now compatible with Google or will it ever be??
    Thanks Bill

The Google Toolbar '''7.1.20110512W''' version works in Firefox 5.0 by using the Compatibility Reporter extension, I tried it myself due to the large number of postings about the GTB this morning. <br />

  • My version of mac 10.4.11 is not compatible with the latest version of firefox so I am trying to find where I can download the previous version 3.6 in English

Everything was fine until firefox automatically installed the newest version and it wasn't compatible with my version of mac. Normally it just reverts to the version I was using but this time the download of the old version disappeared from my desktop

  • How can I download an older version of Firefox that got deleted but was compatible with the PC Mac Version 10.4.11

I have the 1.5 Ghz PowerPC G4 Mac OS X version 10.4.11 and I inadvertently deleted the old Firefox browser when I download Firefox 4. The original download did not recognize the limitations of the system's inability to support Firefox 4.
How could I download and install an older version of Firefox that is compatible with my Mac

Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.
    * http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/4.0/system-requirements/
For an unofficial Firefox 4 compatible version that runs on a PowerPC Mac with OS X 10.4.11 or OS X 10.5.8 you can look at:
    * http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox/
Firefox 3.6.x (Mac OS X 10.4 and later) can be found here:

  • Is there a version of Firefox I can download that is compatible with a 2006 Mac desktop?

I need a version of Firefox I can download on my 2006 Mac desktop.

You mean the Mac OSX 10.4.11 based on your useragent to be more specific.
Firefox 3.6.* is the last from Mozilla to support the old 10.4 as you need both Intel (which you have) and at least OSX 10.5 to use Firefox 4.0 and newer.
There is the Firefox 3.6.17 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
If one was using PPC then there is the third-party Firefox 4.0 from http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox/

  • OMS version 10.2.0.4.0 is not compatible with repository version 10.2.0.1.

I restored database resulting in the above error.
I guess my database backup was taken before grid control upgrade to 10.2.0.4.
    how to fix this? Thanks.

See note "Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Grid Control Certification Checker \[ ID 412431.1 \]". There is a nice application which shows all the compatible combinations. Only 10.2.0.4 is supported with 10GR4 OMS (10.2.x repository version).

  • Firefox 3.6.16 is not compatible with the latest version of Flash

I updated to the current version of Adobe Flash and now Firefox 3 cannot play videos properly.
Nothing crashes, but what happens is that the video does not change during playback. The audio seems fine, but the video is stuck and only changes when the mouse moves off the video's rectangle and then back into the video's rectangle. Basically in order to watch a video I have to wiggle the mouse on the edge of the video so that I get a rough version of the animation.
Firefox had this incompatibility with Flash once before and it was eventually fixed. IE works fine.
    I am running:
    Windows 7
    Firefox 3.6.16
Flash (whatever was the version at the beginning of April 2011)

Firefox 3.6.24 can be found here:

  • OMS version 10.2.0.4.0 is not compatible with repository version 10.1.0.5.9 Repository needs to be patched.

I received this message when attempting to restart the oms after performing:
    emca -deconfig dbcontrol db
    emca -repos recreate
    emca -config dbcontrol db
in an effort to fix the problem:
Getting Chrome browser error "SSL connection error" Error code: ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR after upgrade
Can you advise me as to where I may find this 10.2.0.4 patch for my repository?

OMS is a term used with Grid Control (OMS app tier with Repository database and multiple agents).
emca is used with DB Express on a single database instance to manage the DB Express repository info.
    They cannot be used together.
Did you have Grid Control?:  If so, i believe you've corrupted your repository and need to restore, or contact Oracle Support.
