I work abroad and i have data roaming switched off. How do i disable the notification that continually pops up when sending a text? I know the data roaming is off because i switched it off, i do not need the phone telling me this everytime i write a text message.
Turn MMS Message off in Settings > Messages. MMS messages are sent over data unlike SMS. And as stated, MMS uses the Messages app.

I am using iphone 3gs since last 4 days. Till yesterday night it was working fine and i have connected this phone for charging . Morning there was apple logo in the screen and every 1mte (approx) it is blinking. I could not restart the phone.Plz help . I have tried to reset even by pressing sleep and home button but it could not help. Please suggest. Still i have connected for charging .
Sounds like you have corrupt backup data, if this occurs from one phone to another. Try restoring the phone as a new device, without a backup. Try using for a day before installing any other apps, etc. See if that improves the battery life. Then try syncing back applications a couple at a time. Something seems to be locking in the processor which is draining the battery.
Do you live in an area where there are Apple Stores? If so, try making an appointment with the Genius Bar to have the device checked out. -

It is not practicale to do this always any one faces the same problemThere may be a problem with the SIM card. Get a new SIM card from your carrier - there should be no charge for a replacement.
If no change with a new SIM card, the standard troubleshooting steps in order are:
Power your iPhone off and on.
An iPhone reset, which is done by pressing and holding the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release.
Restore your iPhone with iTunes from your iPhone's backup.
Restore your iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup.
If no change after any of these steps in order, your iPhone has a hardware problem. -
Hello, it's been 5 days now since my imessage has not working..and i have chatted to the costumer for two times. I took thier advice and instructions just to enable to send and receive on it but unfortunately until now its still NOT working. Is there anybody who could help me please?
Try this even if you have already. Just make sure to follow the steps specifically.
Go to settings > Facetime > send and recieve > tap on your apple id and sign out. If your not signed in then that will work as well.
Go to settings > Messages > sent and recieve > tap on your apple id and sign out.
Restart the iPad by doing the slide to power off setup. Just hold the power button on the top right till it turns off.
After the iPad has been restarted:
Go to settings > Facetime > and sign in
Go to settings > Messages > and sign in
Wait about 3 min then restart the iPad again. Same instructions as above.
When you restart you should be able to use messages again. If not then call support again and talk to someone higher than the first level support they have. -
After updating my phone yesterday it worked for about 30 minutes. Now however, it will not let me "Slide To Unlock" the screen is totally unusable and i have alarms that go off every 8 minutes because i am not able to get into my phone to them off. has anyone else had this problem with it being "stuck"?
Basics from the user guide have always been, and still remain, restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new.

atleast once in a week the slide to unlock will not work in my iphone 4 and this is happening from the day i have upgraded to ios7. to access my iphone i have to a switch off and then switch on. really frustrating never expected this from Apple.

My computer is running SO slow. The intermet also keeps freezing up and I have to turn airport off then back on/refresh before it will work again. I dont have enough space on my start up disc to run certain programs. It will say I need to quit programsin order for things to run. Easiest way to fix? Im not great with computers!
Running mac os x version 10.6.8Easiest way is to have an external drive to which you copy the things you store like pictures, movies, and music
which take up a lot of space. Then delete them fron the main drive and clean it up with one of the maintenance utilities. You can readily access the external drive's contents whenever you wish.

my iphone 4 stopped working suddenly....it wouldnt charge or anything...i was told to push the on button and the home button at the same time and it came back on.
is this a fault with the iphone????
i cant have my phone switching off randomly...any help please...thankyou.sometimes it happens, a hard reset will sometimes solve the issue.
If the issue starts happening more often, I would consider restoring the device to factory settings to install clean software. If the issue still persists after that, the device might need a hardware repair.

why can't i access my itunes anymore? whenever i click on it, it makes my laptop freeze/slow down to the point where not even ctrl alt delete works properly and i have to turn the laptop off and then back on to get anything done. it has been this way for the last 2/3 days now and i have uninstalled and reinstalled it but it doesnt work

Each time I try to access music and photos on Apple TV it asks me to turn on sharing. Sharing is on and I have to turn it off then turn it on again to get it to work. Is there a way to avoid all this work every time I wish to play iTunes through my TV?

Turning off cellular data doesn't turn off the ability of the phone to make or receive phone calls. In order to do that, you'd need to put the phone in Airplane Mode.

My ipod nano was working fine until i uploaded some new tunes today. It sync properly and once disconnected it just switched off and would not even turn on. I have put it on charge for a few hours but nothing happens, infact the charger is getting hot. Pleaseeeeeeeeeeee help I need my ipod.
The backlight burned out from getting it wet. You will have to replace the screen at a 3rd party shop, buy a screen and replace it yourself, or make a Genius Bar appointment at your nearest Apple Store and do an out-of-warranty replacement for $199 USD.
