I work from home and they were checking my certificates and said that there is fiddleroot on my computer and I need it fixed. How do I do this?
I work from home and my headset is always cutting in and out and I am also being disconnected during work hours. This is a huge issue and talking to my tech support team they said that there is something called fiddleroot on my computer which makes certificates for every site I go to, which in turn makes my certificates I need for work not work. I need help removing this from my computer. Please help.
hello Tiffany2181982, unfortunately the fiddler2.com issuer in certificates might be a sign of unwanted software present on your pc that is intercepting secure network traffic. please go into the system control panel and uninstall programs like BrowserSafeguard, BrowserSafe, SafeGuard or other software that sounds suspicious and didn't get installed by you intentionally.

Your post doesn't really make sense, because if all you had to do was reset the iPhone, they would have helped you do that at the Apple Store.
Are you sure "reset" is the correct verb - that "reset" is exactly what they told you to do?
Anyway, you reset the iPhone by holding the home and on/off buttons together for about 10 seconds till the Apple logo appears. -
Enterprise structure -work from home employees
Hi all,
We are in the process of setting up our Enterprise Structure. PA will be set up as 4 physical offices of the company in US. PSA as to be set up as Divisions of the company. We also have work from home employees working at different locations (15 states) in USA. Right now they are tracked statewise. They are categorized by work from home- per state. Also all work from home employees are treated the same way as other employees who work from office locations in terms of benefits and pay. They are considered as Active employees in current legacy system.
I want the advise on how to go ahead for setting up PA, PSA, EG and ESG for thses emplyees. One option is to set up 15 personnal areas as 15 states which will divide the work from home emp (in addition to 4 PAs as offices) or the other is just to set up one PA for all homebase employees in US and then maintain their locations/states somewhere else.
Has anyone come across the same situation ? How the work from home emp. in other companies are categorized? Any suggestions are welcome.

Ive purchased ringtones from Itunes. They were working before I did the recent update. I cannot find them on the iPhone and they are no longer assigned - I had five. I have synced several times and does anyone know where they are or how to assign them again?

I've just started working for a media company that provides the music for sporting events. They use iTunes to create playlists that I have to load into an IR machine with hot keys. I also have to edit tracks to create new stings and intros. As there is a 2.5 hour commute, I want to access the work iTunes library from my home MBP so I can work from home. When I'm at work I can share the work iTunes library, but when I'm back home I can't use it. Any ideas of how I could effectively Home Share over the internet with two seperate iTunes accounts?
The work iMac is running 10.7.5 and my MBP is 10.8.4In that case, does anybody know of a program or workaround that will make this so?

Creative ideas for Remote Backups and Working from Home??
Here's my problem in a nutshell:
My primary workstation is at my office where all my important files are stored. I backup once a month onto an external firewire drive which I (usually) keep off location in case of fire/theft etc.
In the future I'm going to need to conduct about 75% of my work from my office and the remainder from home. I'd like to be able to work on a file at my office. Go home. Sleep. And be able to work on the same file from home the next morning.
Any ideas for how I should do this? One solution I had was to run a nightly backup of my office computer (a tower) to a remote firewire drive at home (basically a clone). I could then plugin into the firewire drive with my laptop. This would also serve as a remote backup of my client's files.
Does this make sense? And if so, does anyone have any suggestions or pointers in terms of easy-to-use backup software. And how complicated would it be to set this up to a remote drive? And will there be problems with remotely backing us, say, a 500 MB file?

Many people telecommute by running the applications remotely, with a display server connecting their application to the system they're using. For instance, my work system is Linux; all applications use X windows as their display interface. My home system is OS X, which includes an optional X windows display server. Most of the time, when I need to work from home, I run a VPN client and use 'ssh -X' from an xterm under X on OS X to log in to my office system; and then I can run any application on my office system and have it display on my OS X system.
Similar solutions exist for most common OSs. Windows systems can run VNC or Citrix to export their display to clients that can run on OS X, Linux, or Windows; OS X can run Remote Desktop to export their display to clients that can run on Linux or OS X; etc. -
iMac at work, iMac at home. (Latest Yosemite and Apple Remote Desktop updates installed) Need to work from home at night. I don't know how to set my permissions so that I can just control my iMac at work.
If they have set up port forwarding for you already then that is different. In that case, then you could be experiencing the bug with the most recent release of ARD (3.7.2) and in particular ARD 3.7.2 and Yosemite ARD version 3.8 clients. It has been reported numerous times in the forums and to Apple that since 3.7.2, clients are frequently unavailable to connect to despite there being no network issue between the remote computer and client computer. I have not seen anyone report it who was working from outside the LAN to inside the LAN, but I have the same issue with a number of my own computers that are simply on a different subnet, so it stands rot reason that it would happen from a port forwarding location.
I am sometimes able to resolve the issue locally by SSH connecting into the client computer using Terminal on my admin machine and restarting or relaunching the ARD agent on the remote device, then trying to connect to it again after about 30 seconds.
The Terminal commands for this procedure are as follows, though you might need to include a port number from outside the LAN:
First:
ssh ipaddress -l adminusername
(example: ssh 192.168.1.1 -l macadmin)
Second:
sudo /System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/Resources/k ickstart -restart -agent
After that, waiting about 30 seconds and trying to observe or control usually works, though the computer may still fail to show an online or lit-up status indicator. -
i had by brothers ipods and they were stolen from my car. he passed away in january and his music was very important to me. they were only synced to his computer and we no longer have that. i know his apple id and password. can i still access all of his library and put onto new ipod? how?

If you're trying to connect to a Bonjour server on the remote network, that won't work over a layer 3 VPN. Use something like Hamachi or one of the SSH-tunnelling Bonjour proxy apps for that. -
I purchased an iphone for my daughter and we are using the same account and she deleted some contacts from her phone and they were deleted off of my contacts as well. Is there a way to use icloud backup to reinstall the contacts to my phone?
Welcome to the Apple community.
You can only restore them from a Computer backup. This has occurred because you are sharing an iCloud account. ideally you should each have your own iCloud account, that way you can each manage your own mail, contacts, calendars, documents etc and avoid unintentional deletions and unwanted editing. If there is information you wish to share between you, this can be done with a secondary account.
Having separate iCloud accounts, doesn't mean you have to have separate iTunes accounts, so whilst you keep your personal data separate, you can continue to share music, apps, books, TV shows, movies etc. -
After a rescent update on my ipad 3 I can no longer connect to my pc with WIFI. I have tried resetting ipad and itunes but nothing works. Talked to support and they were no help. Any suggestions?

Mozilla just updated to Firefox 4 and disabled my F5 access. I can no longer work from home!
I'm trying to connect to my work network from home, but Firefox automatically updated to Firefox 4 on my home computer and disabled my F5 software which was what I was using to remotely login to my work computer. F5 Networks VPN client is standard stuff issued by my Federal Government job to allow me to work from home.
Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.
