I woudl like to install Reader but I don't know which Operating System to choose.

I have Windows XP Professional. The choices to install Reader are for Windows XP SP3, Windows XP SP2 (32 bit), Windows XP SP2 (64 bit). Which one should I choose?

The right one... all three of those are different flavours of Windows XP Professional.
It's pretty unlikely that you would be running the "64 bit" flavour, so you need to know
the service pack number of your system
To find out which one is the right one, right click on MY COMPUTER. It should say
System:
   Microsoft Windows XP
   Professional
   Version 2002
   Service Pack ...
Armed with that information you should be good to go. Choose 32-bit if there is a choice.

if you have a win os you should have dl'd an exe and a 7z file.
put both in the same directory and double click the exe.

It should be in your Applications folder in Finder.

It's pamonvashon again (the person who posted the question). I fixed it so I'll tell you how in case it happens to you. I was correct. I went back and re downloaded the game, "Virble". At the beginning of the game o I used the buttons on the side of the phone to turn the sound off and on and the sound came on! A miracle! So beware of VIRBLE!!!

There's no list available from your end. If you're out of authorizations, use the Deauthorize All function.

Looking at another forum post regarding that model, it indicated that your model has an Atheros wireless/bluetooth card.
So, you would need to install these wireless and bluetooth drivers...

I have a budget of $2,200 and I don't know what to buy; The MacBook Pro 15 inch for $2,199 or the MacBook Pro w/ Retina Display for $2,199. I LOVE playing games but I don't know which one would play games faster.Take note that I wont upgrade anything.

The MBP w/ Retina Display is 2.3GHz but the other without Retina Display is 2.6GHz. So I don't know which one would play games absolutely flawlessly. I wont have the screen resolution so high on the games though. So can someone reply and tell me which one I should get and why?

Mac's are generally not 3D gaming computers and laptops especially are not because 3D games require a upgraded video card to take advantage of newer games and more feature rich updates.
Only the Mac Pro can one change the video card, if one can find a upgrade for it.
If you really love 3D gaming, a Windows 7 3D gaming tower is your machine.

3D gaming on a Mac is sort of a second hobby, it's rather short lived as one can't replace the video card once a year, only with a new machine purchase.
Most 3D games are for Windows anyway and Apple almost demands OS X be upgraded to newer verisons annually now, so that sort of throws a monkey wrench into a Mac gaming rig with software upgrades and all. On the other hand Windows 7 is supported for a decade.
Mac's just don't work well with 3D gaming, perhaps a Win 7 tower and a iPad or something.

I've got an ultra book and I'd like to install Zoombrowser, but I don't have a CD drive.

I have an ultra book so there is no CD drive. I'd like to install Zoombrowser on my PC to use with my PowerShot. Is there a place I can download the software??? I looked online and there was just an "updater" program. Also, I'd rather not use the ImageBrowser.

I am very sorry, but full versions of the ZoomBrowser program and other software originally packaged with your camera are not available for download. In order to install the software, you will need the original Solutions Disc and a CD/DVD-ROM drive.

One Daemon fails on startup, but I don't know which one

Hi!
During startup I see the message, that one of the daemons fails on startup, but my eyes are too slow to see which one it is
I don't have any troubles and everything works fine but I want to know what's going wrong on startup. I know there are log files in /var/log but I can't find the information I looking for.
These daemons I have in my rc.conf:
syslog-ng network netfs crond cups hal !fam alsa acpid slim mpd
So, not that much, but I don't get it (I don't know about the fam-daemon, I think I don't need it, do I?)

Thanks for your suggestion, but that didn't work.
But I just used sudo reboot after login and had a chance to see that it is the acpid daemon that fails.
I'm a bit confused, because it works fine (I can shutdown by pressing the power button) and in /var/log/acpid.log I can't find an error message.
So, is it a good idea to start it in the background?

I was really stupid and i brought a phone on ebay for my son for christmas.
The seller said the iphone was unlocked and that any sim would work in the phone. He said all i have to do is insert my sim, charge the phone, set up with itunes and activate it. Clearly not, because i've tried a Three and Vodafone sim and neither of them work! I'm stuck on a message during the activation process. It says;
"Only compatible SIM cards from a supported carrier may be used to activate Iphone. Please insert the SIM card that came with your iPhone or visit a supported Carrier's store to recieve a replacement SIM card."
I really don't know what to do from here. The top left hand corner says "No service", and i can't use my iphone!

Contact the seller. If he's sold something which is not as advertised, you need to take it up with him or eBay.
There's nothing anyone here can do. Only the original network to which the phone is locked can unlock it.

If the user account is associated with an Apple ID, and you know the Apple ID password, then maybe the Apple ID can be used to reset your user account password.
Otherwise, boot into Recovery mode. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select
Utilities ▹ Terminal
from the menu bar. In the Terminal window, type this:
res
Press the tab key. The partial command you typed will automatically be completed to this:
resetpassword
Press return. A Reset Password window opens.
Select your boot volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name) if not already selected.
Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if not already selected.
Follow the prompts to reset the password. It's safest to choose a password that includes only the characters a-z, A-Z, and 0-9.
Select
 ▹ Restart
from the menu bar.
You should now be able to log in with the new password, but your Keychain will be reset (empty.) If you've forgotten the Keychain password (which is ordinarily the same as your login password), there's no way to recover it.
