My bb 8900 was already upgraded to o.s. v. 5.0.0.4xx
Yesterday an update has been proposed by desktop manager.
Now AutoLock with o.s. 5.0.0.592 doesn't lock anymore , autolock from geek and proud v. 0.5.
I've removed it, rebooted, redownloaded and reistalled: doesn't work anymore... Googleing a bit what have I noticed:
On blackberry app word, really strange, there is another autolock... But you must buy it.

System didn't changed from 5 to 6, you cannot fire working apps with a subversion change.
A huge WARNING is a MUST.
This is not correct. Now, for principle reasons, I ask you to give me another working autolock feature or you to provide me the downgrade procedure.

If you think that the app could be not properly removed and reinstalled (means that you expect it to work), please provide the proper instructions to do it.
If the new o.s. 5.0.0.592 is provided with the same feature ( automatic keypad lock when display fades off ) ( that any logic person expect to be a built in feature ) please provide the instructions on how to enable it.

To downgrade your OS to the previous version:
1. Delete the newer OS from your PC by going to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.
2. Then download and install the older version of the OS. BlackBerry Operating System Downloads
3. Install the older OS to the PC by running (double clicking) the file you downloaded.
4. Go to c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
5. Plug in BB and double click on "Loader.exe." It's located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

My FaceTime doesn't work... I would call a person, they would accept, and then I would be stuck in a never ending "connecting".. And this problem has been according with not just my ipad, but with other people's iDevices that I know.

Has Apple made any attempt to fix the 'no deleting apps on iCloud' yet? Would like this feature instead of going to Apple or having to write them to get this feature. What's the point of having an iPad if you can't manage it. You get an app you thought you'd like, but don't & now it's taking up space for another app that could be useful, if not better.
Items showing as in the cloud on app store, do not take up any spce on either your ipad or on your icloud, it is stored in the app store cloud.
The main reason to not delete is it is the history of what you have purchased, you can hide it from view if you would like.

I have a first generation iphone. It recently started showing a message that reads:
This accessory is not made to work with iPhone
Would you like to turn on Airplane Mode to reduce audio interference?
You will not be able to make call during this mode
YES NO
There is no accessory in the phone. Any thoughts on how to stop this behavior?
I tried reloading the OS and it didn't help.I was having the same problem and it was draining my battery! After reading a couple of threads I was resigned to take my 1st gen iphone to the genius bar to see if they could do something. Before going to the bar I took off my pics, videos, movies, podcasts, and some applications in preparation for my visit. That night the problem stopped. This had been happening for about 3-4 weeks so I could replicate at will. After removing things from the phone when I tried to replicate the problem it would not happen. So I then started to re-sync things one at a time. After re-syncing everything but the applications I still could not replicate the problem. My feeling is that one of the applications, or combinations of, was causing the issue. I have not re-synced all the applications at this time because I am happy to have my phone back. Hope this helps.

Most of my concern is in the subject line. I probably should've saved some content to include here. Allow me to elaborate:
While traveling with the tiny brick, I got a message on my 3GS phone that "This accessory is not made to work with iPhone”; however, the charger was working fine with another phone and with an iPad.
I tested alternatives by removing and re-inserting the cable (obviously, as I tested other devices), changing wall receptacles, shutting the phone off (all the way), all to no avail.
When I got home, I plugged a different cable--one that was connected to my iMac rather than the brick--into the my 3GS; it still didn't charge.
So, I'm hypothesizing that perhaps some debris (from a pocket?) got into the charging receptacle of the 3GS and is disrupting the connection. Perhaps there are other hypotheses.
I am reluctant to do a reset, as (a) the problem doesn't appear to be a software issue (the phone and software are all working, though the charge is declining) and (b) I don't want to lose the contents before I can sync it (now that I'm home, again).
I'd welcome suggestions. Meanwhile, I suppose I shall e-mail photos and notes from the phone to myself before I lose the remaining charge.Try to clean the 30-pin receiver slot either by blowing air into it or using a microfiber cloth. If the problem persists, based on what you've already said, I'd say the problem is most likely hardware, and would need to be replaced or repaired. I hope your iPhone is still under the 1-Year Manufacturer Warranty, or if applicaable extended warranty. You can check by calling AppleCare National iPhone Technical Support at 1 (800) 694-7466.

What do you call this basic technique?
Request: Is there a name for the technique I'm using below, because I
know I've seen it and done it before.
Context: I'd like to allow the user to resize images, while preserving
their width:height aspect ratio. My GUI has a pair of JSpinners, for width
and height, and when one is adjusted, the other should change.
Example: if the aspect ratio is 2:1, setting the width spinner to 201
should cause the height spinner to change to 100 (I truncate), whilst setting
the height spinner to 100 should cause the width spinner to change to 200.
But: I don't want those reactions to cascade: from the example, if the
user sets the width spinner to 201, the height spinner should change to 100,
but that is where it should stop -- the width spinner shouldn't itself react
and change to 200.
My solution: I'm a fan of fixing it in the model, and here is my tweak for

This equipment isn't made for iphone !!
My iphone started to show the massage "This equipment isn't made for iphone do you want to turn on flight modus........" i got this massage first time using a ipod car charger. This was whit 1.1.4 than i upgrade to 2.1 (5F136), but the massage still white me. The main problem is that i can't use the phone as ipod, the musik stops after few miuntes. I have tryed to clean the conction spot of the phone, whit no luck. Any one that have the same problem and mybe an answer to my problem ?
This is an 1.gen iphone.I get "This accessory is not made to work with your iphone." This is followed by an invitation to go to airplane mode. (Apple must have a whole department devoted to non sequiturs.) This happens every time I turn the phone on. Of course, I'm not using any accessory. I have never used any accessory. The phone just started doing this out of the blue. This is one of several annoying problems with this piece of trash. If it weren't for the great apps, I would have tossed this thing long ago. I'm making my first trip to a "genius bar" tomorrow. I tried to back up my data in preparation for that adventure, but couldn't because Itunes doesn't recognize my phone. I tried all the unhelpful "solutions" on Apple's (non)support site -- to no avail. This particular grossly overpriced Apple product would be a less than a year old 8GB iphone. I am running the latest software both on the phone ane in Itunes.

Hiya i wondered if someone here can help me please.
Today i went to play my ipod feature on my iPhone and it started playing on the iPhone speakers which i wanted, Then all of a sudden it stoped i checked it out and had an error message saying the following.
"This accessory is not made to work with iPhone
Do you wish to switch to aeroplane mode
YES/NO"
There is no accessory connected to the phone and also it has not been in contact with water which i heard sometimes triggers this error.
When i press the NO option the volume cuts out and the volume slider disapears on the ipod and also the volume buttons dont work.
I dont really want to factory restore it but if thats my only option then i will do it. Also i have only had the phone for less than 20 days.
Any Help/Advice is really apprieciated.Check your iPhone's dock connector port for any dirt, lint, or foreign material, and it doesn't take much.
If clear, the standard troubleshooting steps in order are power your iPhone off and on, an iPhone reset - which is done by pressing and holding the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release - ignoring the slide to turn off prompt when doing so, restoring your iPhone with iTunes from your iPhone's backup, and restoring as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup.
If no change after any of these steps in order, you can call AppleCare or make an appointment at an Apple store if there is one nearby. -

To implement a remote function module in ABAP, perform the following steps:
Register the module as remotely callable in the RFC server system.
In the function module Administration screen (transaction code SE37), set the field Can be called via REMOTE CALL. Registering a module as remote causes an RFC stub to be generated for it.
Write the code for the function module.

You need iDVD.
iDVD is specifically designed to work with iMovie. The best version is iMovie 06, although later versions of iMovie will work. However, Apple removed the ability to create chapter markers starting with iMovie 10.
Purchase iLife 09 or iLife 11 on Amazon. It will contain iDVD. iDVD cannot be downloaded, (from Apple).

thanks in advanceYes. If the function is being called and its running then the ALTER STATEMENT to such function will be in suspended mode until the execution of the function completes.
However I cannot understand why would you want to modify a function in a stored procedure. You can always write a condition based function to perform different tasks on different conditions.

In our existed system,there is one Employee table,now every user logining in system can see all employees in Employee table.
Now we want to control users see specific employees meeting some conditions which are configurable in system.
To minimize the effect on existed codes,we plan to rename Employee table to EmployeeTbl and create a called Employee view in which EmployeeTbl joins the generated function which contains the sql generated by configured conditions for different users.
I have finished the test,and it'ok,but I don't know whether it affects performance too much.
Why not have a table to determine access groups ie what rows a employee can have access to (like say only immediate reportees for supervisors etc) and then link it to your existing users (AD logins). Then its just a matter of dtermining what group the executing
user is part of and then using relationship set for group to determine whch all employees data he can view.
