Hi Klaus, I have tried to do that before - I think you replied before, asking me what system I was using. My response was 'Hello, thank you, I am using OS X Version Lion 10.7.5 and iMovie '11 vwesion 9.0.4 (1635).'
Despite completely clearing my machine, and moving the movie project to an external drive, when I try to finalise the movie I get error -108 after approximately one hour of processing.
I am very keen to be able to export this film. My technical knowledge is limited and I learned a basic level of iMovie to make the film - often online responses and suggestions are too complex for me - hence my question about where I would go to have an expert look at this problem...
Any suggestions would be most welcome, thanks

I am a proud user of Firefox. I started experiencing the freezing problem since i updated to Firefox 18 and now I am facing the same problem with Firefox 19. Firefox does not respond to any of my clicks and then I have to close it using Task Manager. This is happening frequently and randomly. It does not freeze on a particular site or anything else. Hi I would like to show a presentation written on my macbook air on my television what is the best way to connect the two ?
Much depends on the available connectivity of your television.
If it has HDMI input available, all you will need is a minidisplayport to HDMI adapter, and an HDMI cable long enough to place the Mac in the desired proximity to the TV. The adapter is avaialble from the Apple Store online.
Provided the HDMI input on the television supports sound, and the model of your MBA supports it as well, make suree that your adapter is also supportive of sound, otherwise you will need to run separate cabling from the headphone jack of the MBA to TV sound input or external speakers.
This is a somewhat specific answer to a question without any requisite detail. You don't indicate the model or type of inputs on your TV, nor do you indicate the model/generation of MBA you have. -

Some external cases include cords others (like some printers) consider the cord to be "optional" - read the package or product description. Other World Computing, HH Greg, OfficeMax, any box store or local computer store should have a case for your old drive.
You are fortunate in that the Mac will automagically read the DOS format disk... you'd never be able to connect and old Mac HD to a WinDUHows machine. -

Photoshop is a professional level application that makes no apologies for its very long and steep learning curve.
It's not something you can learn in a forum, question by question. Teaching someone Photoshop from scratch exceeds the scope of this or any other forum.
The process involves isolating your face, by selecting it and deleting the unwanted parts around your face or with layer masks, then placing it as a new layer on top of your target image, making sure it's the right size, color, lighting, etc. Google for tutorials on any of those elements you are unfamiliar with, -

Try downloading any free app (you can delete it later). This will re-authorize the iTunes account on your phone and will often fix this issue.

You have misunderstood something, since in the US, you can get an iPhone 5 for $200 (or less) by signing a 2 year contract with one of the major carriers here. The price is subsidised by the carrier in exchange for contracting for service with them. -

structure is used to creat a set of rows and calumns values.
for example,
if you palce char1 in rows and key1 and key 2 in coloums ,
if you want to reuse these you can place the selection in structures and can reuse making them as global structures.
regarding cell defination once you have two active structures i.e., one characteristic structure and key figure structure,
than you can get the "cell editor in menu bar of Query designer next "table" option.

If you want to reuse the value from the implicit, generic cell definition that is automatically created at the intersection of the two structural components of a query, select this cell in the Cell screen area and, using the secondary mouse button, choose New Cell Reference. A description taken from the two structural components now automatically appears in the cell. The symbol shows you that a cell reference exists for this exception cell. Now you can reference this cell. You can continue to use the implicit cell definition and do not have to manually generate this value using a new selection.
Functions of explicitly defined cells:
Select a defined cell and choose the required function from the context menu (secondary mouse button).

Before you delete a cell, you can check for the formulas in which the defined cell is used in the where-used list.

● Hiding the cell ( if you do not want to see the values of the cell)
Help cells
In the Help Cells area you can define additional cells for help selections or help formulas. You can use the functions New Selection and New Formula in the context menu to define help cells that are not displayed in the query to serve only as objects for help selections and help formulas.
For example, you can define an invoice in a help cell and use this in a real cell to calculate a duplicated invoice.
a. Using the secondary mouse button, click on the empty cell next to Help Cells to reach the context menu. From here, choose New Selection.
b.Use Drag&Drop to drag the Invoice key figure into the right-hand Details of the Selection area.
c. Enter a description.
d. Choose OK. The cell contains the description of the selection. The symbol shows you that a selection exists for this exception cell.
e. Now choose New Formula from the context menu of the required cell of the query. The new formula that is not yet defined appears in the cell.
f. Select the new formula and choose Edit from the context menu.
g. Use Drag&Drop to drag the cell you have just defined, which you can find in the Available Operands window under Cells, into the Detail View window. Click on the button twice.
h. Enter a description.
i. Choose OK. The cell contains the description of the formula. The symbol shows you that a formula exists for this exception cell.
Result
You have defined one or more exception cells for a query.
