I would think you would drop down the audio level lines in the "Stereo" tab (FCP 6.0.6 view to me) in the clip's video window.
But then again, in my old version, I can't play two clips at once. But I figure if the newer FCP allow you to do that, then that's what I would do.

No not bothered about sycing apps etc it is all about calendars and maybe notes. IN terms of how its done I just want it the easiest way and preferably so that if an entry is made on one calendar then it populates the other.
Thgius is beacuse I have my work diary on outlok, which I then link with my ical. I want to make sure that information is then shared with her.

There is an example in the \TestStand\Examples\Database directory. Basically there are two ways to connect to your database.
1. You can use the TestStand database step types. There are steps for opening/closing a database connection, opening/closing an SQL statement, and a step for performing a data operation.
2. The other way is to use the TestStand database logging capability to write your results to the database. This is the way I would recommend. With database logging, you use the step results container to record all your results as the sequence runs. (This is done automatically by TestStand). When the sequence is complete, the process model calls a "Log to Database" sequence that will write the results to the database. You must define your datab
ase schema using Configure->Database Options. There are some default (or example) schema definitions already defined. Refer to chapter 18 of your TestStand manual.
Another way to log the data as the sequence is running is shown in the \TestStand\Examples\OnTheFlyReports. This has the advantage of recording data as it is obtained, but it is not as efficient in terms of using a database connection. I don't recommend using this method.
Please post again if you have any more questions. If you are using stored procedures with your database, I can probably give you some tips.

I have a Text control string box with some initial text. I would like to highlight old text with click of mouse and type in new data from keyboard

I have a text control string box with some initial text (says: Please enter Name). I would like the operator to click on the text control box and have it automatically highlight so that when new data is typed in the old erases (all at once) and the new data is now in the text box.
I tried using the "Text.Selection" property node and when I run it and put the mouse inside the text box the initial text is highlighted and if I press "delete" on the keyboard or if I start to type in new data the initial data does delete but once I start to type new characters they erase each other. For example if I want to type in “Willi
am” I type the “W” and then the “I” but the “I” erases the “W” and now I am only left with an “I” in the text box and so on. I appreciate any help

It seems you are continuously setting the property node over and over again. This should only happen once if you mouse over it.
Create a property node for your text control with the following three items:
(1) KeyFocus (wire a "true" constant to it)
(2) Text.SelStart (Wire a "zero" constant to it)
(3) Text.SelEnd (Wire a constant containing the string length of the text).
Put this property node inside an event structure, triggered by "Mouse enter" on the string control.
(see if the attached example works for you)

I have Exchange contacts on my IPad which I would like to export or sync with icloud, my phone, or gmail. I no longer have access to that exchange server. Is there a way to do this?

I had an exchange account for work that synced to my iPhone 4 and Ipad. I left that job and after several months decided to remove the email account from my phone. This process also removed my contacts. The iPad still has the email and contacts. Is there anyway to get the contacts off the iPad or to sync them with something (phone, email account or desktop)? Yes I believe so. Try it and see you can always delete the Apple TV from a remote if it messes things up.
But we have three remotes setup to do this. My iPhone and iPad and my wifes iPhone. She has a different iTunes logon but it seems to work fine

Thanks - I guess it is like there were two of me!
I bought the iPhone first and it seemed natural to link it to the (work) e-mail address which was in constant use. The iMac for home use came next and it seemed natural to use my home e-mail address, particularly as I knew by then that I would lose the work address after my imminent retirement. The same logic went for the recent puchase of the MacAir. I am not sure what happened with the iPad (also a recent purchase) - iTunes seemed to puch me towards the same ID as the iPhone.
It is not a huge problem - just makes my persona look schizoid! Otherwise very happy with everything Apple.

I would like to extend my network with time capsule

I have and airport extreme. I just bought a time capsule. I would like to keep the airport connected to the modem and use the time capsule to extend my network range and backup. The reason I want to set up my network this way is so I can "hide" the time capsule in another area of the house. Just in case of theft. I would rather have my back-up not located on my desk with all of my other equipment.
When I was setting up the time capsule, it looked like it was doing exactly what I wanted it to do. Then it got to the last step, restarting. The device restarted, the green light came on, but it never showed up in the airport utility dock again. I had to reset it and start over. I ended up setting it up off network and connecting my computer with an ethernet wire and doing my back-up. Now, I have to get it set up wirelessly today. Otherwise, I just bought a very expensive hard drive and would not get the benefit of the wireless back-up.
The guy at the store said this should be easy and it appeared like it was easy, but, something just isn't right.

In order for the Time Capsule to "extend a wireless network", the AirPort Extreme must first be configured to "Allow this network to be extended".
Did you remember to enable that option on the AirPort Extreme before you tried to configure the Time Capsule to "extend"?
Check your settings on the AirPort Extreme as follows:
Open AirPort Utility, select the AirPort Extreme and click Manual Setup
Click the Wireless tab just below the row of icons
Make sure that you have a check mark entered in the box next to "Allow this network to be extended"
Update to save settings on the AirPort Extreme
Then, configure the Time Capsule to "extend a wireless network"

How is this possible? I then phoned the shop and told them my problem. When I gave them the details I also found out that the imei No. in the iPhone is the same as on the original box. You are right, but how could i send it to Apple? when the phone company first replaced my iphone they had in stock alots of iphones and they just sent mine back to Apple and gave me a new one, so all i did is to give them my phone, but now how could i sent it to Apple? and i cant send it by myself, and the store wont do that, its a lost for them.. so sending it to Apple wasnt an option from the begining.
and for the record, i dont think the store where i bought it is an authorized shop.. its just a store who boughts phone's from Apple in a low price and sells it in much more money..

Basically you will have to transfer its contents to the new computer and then restore the iPod and then resync. An iPod can only sync to one iTunes library.

I would suggest using Apple's Pages which allows support for imbedding videos from the device's camera roll. Pages also allows for sharing via email, Air Drop, and Messages.
