Carriers unlock phones, not Apple.
You must complete the contractual obligation that you have with the carrier and request an unlock from them or buy an unlocked phone from Apple.
Any software claiming to unlock a phone is a hack.
If the phone is restored or updated, the "unlock" will be removed.
It's just not worth it.

Unlocked means unlocked, so yes.
But, support and namely warranty coverage may not be available for you in Norway or anywhere but in the US with any iPhone purchased in the US, even an unlocked iPhone purchased in the US.

If you tap on your account id in Settings > iTunes & App Stores you should be able to view your account info (after you've typed in your password) and you should get a payment details option. Or you can do it via the Store > View My Apple ID drop-down menu option on your computer's iTunes

You may be able to get compatible application versions by downloading the current ones to a computer or newer device and then trying to download them from that iPad. If this doesn't work for a given application, you can't get it.

To find a cheap version of PS is to locate an obsolete version only? Software surplus business may have some or check the obituary columns to see if any Photographers or Gaphic Designers have left some things behind?
Some options...enroll in a community college Multimedia class and you will not only have access to Photoshop, you'll have access to much more software for the price of the course. It will also qualify you as a student and you can get a discounted rate on the Adobe Creative Cloud subscription as well.
If you are only making "simple flyers" would not MS Word or OpenOffice software do the job for you? There are applications for that purpose and Photoshop is not the only way to skin this cat! Or you can always buy a box of Crayola's and make a pamphlet that way?
And as a bonus, you may learn something from the course you enroll in.
I am a student and subscribe to Adobe Creative Cloud...it's reasonable for my purposes for now.

I think you can get Windows 7 for around $99. Install the 64bit version as the 32bit version will not be able to use all your new computer's ram if you have more than about 3.5gb.
Back up your quick books data now before the old hard drive dies. You can copy your data over to your new installation of Windows and quick books.

Bad idea. There are no supported iPhone carriers in Iceland, thus some features may or may not work. Further, there will be no warranty or support for a US purchased iPhone in Iceland...your friend will be on their own. If you still want to go down this road, make sure you purchase an officially unlocked iPhone(GSM model) directly from Apple.

The keyboard is easier to use than Apple's on-screen keyboard. Do a Google search using the model number to get the best price. About the same price as Apple's covers & it covers the whole iPad.
