I would like to change my apple ID to what is apparently my "recovery" email address but I don't see any option to change my recovery email (gmail). Whats up with that?
Why do I not see an option to change my recovery email? I would like to use what appearently is my current "recovery" email as my new Apple ID but ID manager will not let me.
If you mean your rescue email address, from http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312:
You can edit or delete your rescue email address at My Apple ID. To edit your rescue email address:
Navigate to My Apple ID using your web browser.
Click "Manage your account"
When prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password.
Click Password & Security
You'll be asked to answer 2 of your 3 security questions before you can make any modifications. If you are unable to remember your answers, you can choose to send an email to your rescue email to reset your security questions.
Note: The option to send an email to reset your security questions and answers will not be available if a rescue email address is not provided. You will need to contact iTunes Store support in order to do so.
After you've validated your identity by correctly answering your security questions, click Edit to the right of your rescue email address.

Every time I try to sign on, I only could type USER ID but I don't see any place I can type in password. It leads me automatically click on sign on, then it is always error message that I had wrong ID or password or if I forgot. I didn't forget my password. I have problem to see the place where I should type in password. There were not around sign on screen. Where is it?

Bug: Behaves like a modal dialog is open, but I don't see any?!
I wonder if anyone else has come across this bug with SQLDeveloper. Sometimes when I'm working (it doesnt' seem to be at a specific time) the UI becomes unresponsive to mouse clicks. Everywhere I click results in a windows "bong" noise as though a modal dialog is open and preventing me from interacting with the main window, yet the main window is responsive to keyboard input, and I can use keyboard shortcuts to navigate the menus.
Oddly enough, if I use keyboard to open a dialog e.g. Alt+H.. About, then I can interact with the dialog using the mouse. Similarly if I press Alt+H to pop open the Help menu (for example) and then click anywhere in the window (including the menu items) then the menu will disappear in response to the click.. But the "bong" is still heard and the UI doesnt respond to whatever was clicked on
The only solution I have is to save all work and restart the app. Is it a known issue?
Update: I carried on working with the app using only the keyboard. Some time has passed, and I've switched windows, edited code, copied and pasted stuff and saved. The UI is now again responding to mouse clicks without needing restarting.

cjI know what causes that - there's an API in the IDE called "WaitCursor" that blocks interaction with the UI while an operation is happening in the background. It's usually employed in cases where an operation is short enough not to require a progress dialog, but long enough that if it just happened on the UI thread, it would look like the product hung for a few seconds. What you're observing (keyboard keeps working, but mouse just produces beeps) is consistent with the behavior of this API. Something in SQL Developer or the base IDE probably forgot to, or took a very long time to, hide the wait cursor after a background operation.
Summary: it's probably a bug. A Ctrl+Break thread dump not long after you see it happening would probably help the devs to figure out what's causing it.

Just got a I Phone 4. I typed my wifi password to connect to my wifi but don't see a "connect" button or "enter". I tried "join" but it did nothing? How do I connect to my wi-fi so I don't use cell minutes when at home? Also, How do I know for sure by looking at the phone if the phone is utilizing the wi-fi versus cellular data minutes?
You need to read the manual.
If you are connected to wi-fi, you will see the wi-fi symbol instead of "3G" by the signal strength bar.

I want to be able to change my projectors default background while using my mac book pro. Currently it is showing Apple's signature background. I would like to change it to a plain black background so that when I disengage mirroring the screen the audience sees will go black; thus allowing me to make any necessary changes/switch programs and then engage mirroring. Any suggestions besides using a video switcher?
It is Not an Apple projector; the image is being pushed from my mac book pro.

I have a large number of images that I need to resize the canvas sizes to a square, the images are currently in different sizes. For example, if an image is 1020 x 600 I would like to change the canvas to 1020 x 1020 so that the image becomes a square. I am using CS3 and all the images are jpeg's. I have done research on scripts but the ones I have tried have not worked. Please help.
Thanks.Since you do not want to crop your images to a square 1:1 aspect ratio changing the canvas to be square will not make your images square they will retain their Aspect Ratio and image size will be changer to fit within your 1020 px square. There will be a border or borders on a side or two borders on opposite sides. You do not need a script because Photoshop ships with a Plug-in script to be used in Actions. What is good about Plugins is the support Actions. When you record the action the plug-in during action recording records the setting you use in its dialog into the actions step. When the Action is played the Plug-in use the recorded setting an bypasses displaying its dialog. So the Action can be Batch. The Action you would record would have two Steps. Step 1 menu File>Automate>Fit Image... in the Fit Image dialog enter 1020 in the width and height fields. Step 2 Canvas size enter 1020 pixels in width and height not relative leave the anchor point centered it you want even borders on two sides set color to white in the canvas size dialog. You can batch the action.
The above script will also work. Its squares the document then re-sizes to 1020x1020 the action re-sizes the image to fit with in an area 1020 x 1020 then add any missing canvas. The script like the action only process one image so it would also need to be batched. Record the script into and action and batch the action. As the author wrote. The script re size canvas did not specify an anchor point so the default center anchor point is uses like the action canvas will be added to two sides. -

Most of my e-mail goes to Junk e-mail..! I have tried the rules suggestion as soluiton of the problem, but I don't see any rules to be removed. I went to the Apple store and they couldn't resolve the problem ...Help!!! Any other suggestion?Is it being marked by your email provider? Check the raw headers and see if there is an x-spam header.
