I would like to combine my wifes iTunes libary and mine.

I would like to combine my wifes iTunes libary and mine. So that our iPhones, iPad and iPod all have the same music. But we would like to keep our own contacts and calendars.
Basiclly, we want to sync our music and have our own apple id's. And when one purchases music it will sync to the others device.
Can it be done?

Yes, it's possible. That's exactly how iCloud works.
First check your settings. Make sure your phone and Mac are both signed into the same iCloud account in Settings (System Preferences)>iCloud and that contact syncing is enabled on both. Then on your phone, go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar (in the Calendars section) and select your iCloud calendar as your default. On you Mac, open the Calendar application and go to Calendar>Preferences>General and make sure your iCloud calendar is selected in the drop-down list next to Default Calendar.
Then add a test calendar event on both your Mac and your phone, go to icloud.com from your computer and check to see if they both appear there, as well as on the other device. If so, they are properly syncing now. If not, let me know which one does not appear on icloud.com.

No it's not possible to link the iPad to two accounts at the same time. It is possible to sign into one account, sign out and then sign into another account.
However, when you do that - and assuming that you want to download her paid content - you will lock yourself out of your own Apple ID for 90 days.

i had one for a long time, then when i got the ipad i didn't realize they would all still work under one so i set up the second one on that
then when i got the new iphone i put in the info for the first and main one from my mac pro and it would not work at all, and i knew it was right, then it asked me to create a new one or i couldnt finish the setup
hence why i have 3 now
hard to believe you cannot combine into one

If you go to Settings > iTunes & AppStore , you can sign out from your account, and sign in with the one you've used to purchase apps.This will not remove any apps you already have on it.
Then you can go to AppStore and download apps you've purchased (either via "Purchased" button in "Updates", or simply search for them and download them.
That way you can have multiple accounts' apps on your iPad. When updating, you will be prompted for the credentials for account you've purchased given App with.

I see what your problem is. You are physically connected the devices. It would be better if the information was in iCloud. Then they all would sync instantly.

I would like to borrow my wifes iPad without destroying any of her data. I want to see how it works as a portfolio for my art furniture. How does this sound.
Sync the ipad to her itunes to make sure everything is up to date.
then plug it in to mine. I expect some sort of warning and then hopefuly I can sync it to mine.
I use it buy a portfolio app and set it up. Evaluate if it will work for me
Plug it back into her itunes and sync it to her machine.
Will everything be OK?
Cane I go back and forth like this on the occasion that I actually want to try the portfolio out on a client?
Are there any other precautions I need to do to protect her data before I start?

In theory, if you backup her iPad to her computer, then use sync or restore to get your stuff on the iPad. After you are done, you can connect it back to her computer and restore. That should bring it back to the way it was before you borrowed it. However, that is theory and I don't know anyone who has ever tried it.
I do know that couples who have tried to turn the iPad into an usPad and share on a regular basis found that purchasing a second iPad rescued their marriage.

I can understand your concern, however can you please let me know that are you able to open both the PDF files ( the one you converted form excel to pdf & the other pdf that was mailed to you ) individually without using any password?
As it asks for the password, it means that the postal mailed PDF is password protected. You can ask for the password from the sender of the postal mail & then try to combine the files.

This will probably resolve your issue.
