I use 3-4 different toolbars for different things. In IE8 I can move them around so they are next to each other on the same line. This saves space and makes the browsing space bigger. I can't do this in FF3.6.10. Is there a way to override this? Thanks.

Not having the flexibilty to move toolbars to be next to each other is better?
The individual items on my installed toolbars don't move, and I can't place 2 toolbars (both of which are short) next to each other, so I have to have them stuck below each other which looks odd and wastes space.
And that's better?

Sure it's possible.
Go to System Preferences (under the Apple logo on the top left of the menu).
Choose "Display". There's a slider bar for the screen brightness. Adjust it and you're all set.

Round & round in circles I go trying to understand the logic behind the variuos stages of trying to get to grips with (I thought) a connection to Icloud for storing my photos & perhaps other things. Boy, was I wrong. I have installed on my PC anIcloud icon or is it an APP which I have tried to log on to. I set up an ID & password but this dosn't work as I do not have an account. When I tried to access this the caption said not recognised altho my name appeared at the heading. Am I going mad?? Can any one explain how to successfully get into the Icloud for storage?? Then tried to do update download of ios 5.1.1. but get a message that I need to download itunes 11.0.1. So, I am gathering that my itune update did not take. Please help me with these downloads. Sometimes that is a business decision, sometimes technology driven. Operating systems and software get to a point where hardware is not capbable of using the software effectively so it is not supported. This has happened a few times in the life of various Mac OS versions.
It's frustrating but not much we individual users can really do about it.

If the DVD is to play on a DVD Player, then Share -> Send to iDVD as iDVD is the only app that creates the correct file structure and format for this purpose.
If the DVD is just to hold the file, then Export to the desktop and burn with the Finder.

i had one for a long time, then when i got the ipad i didn't realize they would all still work under one so i set up the second one on that
then when i got the new iphone i put in the info for the first and main one from my mac pro and it would not work at all, and i knew it was right, then it asked me to create a new one or i couldnt finish the setup
hence why i have 3 now
hard to believe you cannot combine into one

If you go to Settings > iTunes & AppStore , you can sign out from your account, and sign in with the one you've used to purchase apps.This will not remove any apps you already have on it.
Then you can go to AppStore and download apps you've purchased (either via "Purchased" button in "Updates", or simply search for them and download them.
That way you can have multiple accounts' apps on your iPad. When updating, you will be prompted for the credentials for account you've purchased given App with.

I see what your problem is. You are physically connected the devices. It would be better if the information was in iCloud. Then they all would sync instantly.

I can understand your concern, however can you please let me know that are you able to open both the PDF files ( the one you converted form excel to pdf & the other pdf that was mailed to you ) individually without using any password?
As it asks for the password, it means that the postal mailed PDF is password protected. You can ask for the password from the sender of the postal mail & then try to combine the files.

This will probably resolve your issue.
