I would like to know if...

I use Keynote 5.0.5 on a SnowLeopard machine (with the new QuickTime X) and I would like to know if all this is nornal:
1) When I add an mp3 audio file to my presentation, when i drag'n'drop the audio file on the appropriate area in the Inspector window it shows with an mp3 icon. I save my presentation and quit Keynote. I launch again Keynote and go back into the Inspector, I see my audio file with a ".mov" extension. As if it is a movie... Is this normal. I feel the user guidlines are not respected. Why is it changing from mp3 to mov in my back?
2) So I have a presentation with an audio track. I export it as a QuickTime movie. When I watch it with QuickTime X player it doesn't work. Either I only hear the sound and have a black screen. Or the screen is black and the is not even the sound. Is this feature full of bugs? Is it normal? Am I doing something wrong?
3) Before the as QuickTime 7 free player and the QuickTime 7 Pro version. If I export my Keynote presentation to full quality with QuickTime X, will it do it?
Thanks for the help.

Acrobat creates PDF files, nothing else. What do you mean by "a program or database"?
