I would like to know that my deleted Notes, photos, messages, etc., are really gone when I delete them on my iphone. Where do deleted files go and when do they actually get erased?
I read somewhere that deleted files go into your device's database, and then get replaced by "new content." Does "new content" simply mean more deleted files? So, deleted files are deleted, but really they stay in your device's database and could be recovered by an iOS recovery tool via one's computer, but after more files are deleted, the original deleted files will be erased forever (due to lack of space in your device's database)? This is all assuming I didn't back anything up through itunes or icloud or any other program/app/storage utility.
Same way it works with any computer...when you delete something, the data isn't actually deleted, just the pointers to the data. As you use your device, the data gets overwritten, since the iOS views it as "free" space..
If you want the data truly gone, you need to erase your phone. Same way it works on any computer.

Regardless, it is not a matter of carrier locking. Verizon iPhone 5 phones were never GSM sim-locked to begin with. Every iPhone Verizon has sold since the introduction of the iPhone 5 has been sold with an unlocked GSM slot, as required in the USA by their agreement with the FCC. They have not been allowed to sell any iPhone 5, iPhone 5c nor iPhone 5s devices with GSM carrier locking in place.
Your connection problems are from some other cause - it is NOT a carrier locking issue. -

The games available for the iPad from the App Store will not be compatible with any computer other than an iDevice. To check for available games/Apps for the MacBook Pro you would need to check the Mac App Store, assuming of course that you are running at least OS 10.6.6.

Just want to know why Apple have not made an options menu to remove duplicate photos in iPhoto? I know about downloads you can purchase to delete Dups, but I'm very interested to find out from apple themselves as to why they left this out, to die without knowing this is like having viruses on a pc or waiting for the web page to pop up on windows...

You could have more 5 computers authorized if you ever, for example, reformatted a hard drive or replaced a hard drive without deauthorizing the computer first. You won't lose any data. Mistimp is correct, they can't tell you which computers are authorized. -
it is shwing that it has ebcountered an eror from reading from its preview cache and needs to qiut...
after re-instalation also it i still showing the same thing... plzz help me.That error message indicates that your preview cache files have become corrupt. This is not a critical problem to solve. Just delete the previews file it carries the same name as your catalog file with the extension ending "Previews.LRDATA" see the screen capture. Delete this file and when you next restart Lightroom it will rebuild the previews.

Below are instructions to enter some UNIX shell commands. The commands are harmless, but they must be entered exactly as given in order to work. If you have doubts about the safety of the procedure suggested here, search this site for other discussions in which it’s been followed without any report of ill effects.
Some of the commands will line-wrap or scroll in your browser, but each one is really just a single line, all of which must be selected. You can accomplish this easily by triple-clicking anywhere in the line. The whole line will highlight, and you can then either copy or drag it. The headings “Step 1” and so on are not part of the commands.
Note: If you have more than one user account, Step 2 must be taken as an administrator. Ordinarily that would be the user created automatically when you booted the system for the first time. BillI have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. But over time, some of my contacts have started showing up, although i am still missing over 800 of them.

Right, so I purchased a pre-payment card from PCWorld for the student & teacher version of Lightroom 5. Tried to download Lightroom 5 only to find that it wouldn't work with Mac OS 10.6. So, I have upgraded my OS, but now I can't find anywhere on my account that I've redeemed the card and have had no communications from Adobe regarding my proof of being a student. From what I know, CS6 had support for Right to Left languages. If you have a purchased version of Dreamweaver CC, you should be able to download CS6 from your CC application. See Dreamweaver Help | Arabic and Hebrew text for help with Right to Left text in DW.
