I would like to know why I have to go through the User Account Control every time I try to open a document

Actually the question speaks for itself.every time I try to do something I get the User Account Control asking permission to open the filewith Adobe Acrobat. I'm logged in as an administrator so it shouldn't be a problem

Could you please let me know what version of Acrobat and OS are you using.
There might be a chance that you do not have access to specific folders on your system. So try this:
Right-click on the Acrobat icon and choose 'Run as administrator' option from the context menu.

No I have not tried those things. I don't even know what that means I suppose I have the newest version of aperature; I just bought it 4 days ago.

I don't want to know how to delete duplicate photos anymore. I would like to know why Apple have not put in delete duplicate option menu in iPhoto? Very curious. Is it to frustrate users, so they have to go out and buy another apple photo product?

I know about downloads you can purchase to delete Dups, but I'm very interested to find out from apple themselves as to why they left this out, to die without knowing this is like having viruses on a pc or waiting for the web page to pop up on windows...

You could have more 5 computers authorized if you ever, for example, reformatted a hard drive or replaced a hard drive without deauthorizing the computer first. I have 2 active itune accounts on the same laptop. My orginal account was set up 3 yrs ago I believe for an ipod that I have but I hadn't used it in a long time. I recently bought an iphone 4s and my daughter was helping me with itunes. She made me another itunes account under another email address that I use for facebook instead of using the account I already had. I have purchaed a few songs and ring tones from this new account, but since then I logged out and started using my old account a week or so ago. What I want to do is delete or cancel the newest account but don't know how to or what to do. The email I get from "Apple" is being sent to the email address I use for facebook and not to my orginal aol email account. Can you tell me what I need to do to? I only want one account and I would like to keep the old account.

You need do nothing more.
You will need to authorize your computer for both accounts as you have purchased from both accounts.

My netbook came with MS Works, it's useless. I've downloaded Open Office, but every time I try to open a document (usually .doc files) it opens automatically as a Works wps file. I can't get it to change! Do I just have to uninstall Works?

Just as above, Works makes documents crazy (eg someone sends me a .doc file by email, I go to open it and it automatically opens as a .wps and I can't get it to stop!) and no-one else can open .wps documents. I know this may not actually be specifically a Firefox issue but have tried a few things on netbook settings etc and am getting nowhere fast.

My Ipod touch screen get White there fore i brought it to the premium retailer where i bought it. after 15 days with no anwser of the retailer, i moved to the shop to have more information. they told me that my ipod could not be repaire and i had to pay a service fee even if it was on warrenty. why should i pay for something on warrenty and for something that could not be repair.

Apple never repairs your iPod, they replace it with a refurbished one at no charge if the product fails on its own. But the warranty only covers manufacturing defects, if your white screen was caused by abuse such as dropping it or getting it wet, the warranty does not apply. If that is not the case call them at 1-800-APL-CARE (if in the US) and discuss it with them.

Why do I keep getting the mozilla crash report every time I try to open firefox. It won't open. One day my computer just shut down by itself and when I tried to reopen mozilla it wouldn't and I got this crash report.

On the crash report it gives me to options;restart firefox or quit. I've clicked on both of these and nothing has happened I just keep getting the crash report. I have tried uninstalling and installing and still nothing works.

This is the decision of the app maker.
Contact those app makers and ask them why they do this.

The file is too large to download via 3G. There is a 20MB limit with 3G. The purpose of having 3G is that you have internet access everywhere and do not need to be near a WiFi hotspot or network.
Not every single thing that you do every single minute of the day on the iPad involves downloading files larger than 20MB. You can surf the internet all day long sitting out in a park somewhere with 3G - but not with a WiFi only iPad - unless you use a hotspot with it.
Try turning off your firewall and anti virus software while you try to download the iOS update.
