I would like to store my books and be able to retrieve with out available wifi

i am using ipad air,16gb,with wifi&cllular connection.main purpose of it is to up load books and acesses them while i commute where wifi and cellular services are not available.is it possible to retrieve stored books with out wi fi &cellular connection?.

Without the wifi/Cellular connection you are limited to the books that you have already downloaded to the device.
Either download what you wish to read before hand from iCloud, or connect to iTunes and manage your books on your device from there.

Adobe Reader cannot do this. At the very least, you would need Acrobat but editing in Acrobat can have it's issues. Best to edit the original document then recreate the pdf.

Would like to store data in file for timing purposes

I have written this code in labview and is working like it should. It takes data of two transducers (analog signals) mounted 1.5 m apart.
The goal is to find out a precise time between the two rising edges. (attached pic)
I have collected two waveforms, one from
transducer 1 and one from transducer 2. Element 0 of the waveform
array is the data from transducer 1. Element 1 is the data from
transducer 2.
Both waveforms contain timing information as
part of their datatype.
I have tried to store the data as a txt file, but it only stores the last result of each transducer.
I would like to store the data, and process it in matlab to find a precise time between the rising edges or can this be done in the same VI I have created?
Any help is appreciated.

Use the "Write to measurement file.vi" and "Read from wavefrom file.vi "found in the "Programming->Waveform->Waveform file I/O pallete" for saving and retrieving the acquired data.
note that the file hence created will not be in the human readable form.
The precise rising time computation can also be done using labVIEW. Apply the same logic that you have done in matlab to create a subvi in LabVIEW\

The itunes store relies on certain components of safari, regardless of if you use it or not.

You can create a Quicktime movie slideshow of the book's pages and share that. Here's how to get your book into an iPhoto slideshow and then export as a Quicktime video:
1 - While viewing the book type Command+P to start the print process.
2 - click on the PDF button and select "Save PDF to iPhoto".
Note: If you don't have any of those options go to Toad's Cellar and download these two files:
Save PDF to iPhoto 200 DPI.workflow.zip
Save PDF to iPhoto 200 DPI.workflow.zip
Unzip the files and place in the HD/Library/PDF Services folder and reboot.
3 - select either of the files above (300 dip is used for photos to be included in a book that will be ordered).
4 - in the window that comes up enter an album name or select an existing album and hit the Continue button.
That will create a 200 or 300 dpi jpeg file of the item being printed and import it into iPhoto. Immediately select all of the photos in the new album and sequentially renumber them as "Page " using the Batch Change ➙ Title to Text with the option to add a sequential number to each title. This is to let you put the pages back in the correct order in the event they get sorted incorrectly.
Now you can proceed as follows: create the slideshow in iPhoto and export it out of iPhoto as a QT movie file via the Export button in the lower toolbar. Select Size = Medium or Large (480p with iPhoto 9),

I would like to uninstall firefox 4 and then reinstall it, but I don't want to lose all of my bookmarks. The actual problem is a persona that won't stay changed. We change it, but every time we close Firefox it goes back to the Persona we changed it from when we start up Firefox again. I was just planning on uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, but, like I said, I don't want to lose my bookmarks. How do I save my bookmarks in Firefox 4?

You could always remove/disable the Persona that you don't want. Go to Add-ons > Appearance, and then just disable/remove the offending Persona.
Though, if you really want to save your bookmarks:
Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Which will open the Library > Look for Import and Backup > Backup...> and it will prompt to you save the file somewhere. To add them back into Firefox, go back to the library > Import and Backup again > Restore > Choose File... > and then open the file you saved earlier.

I would like to store photos on icloud and dont want those to be visiable on mu devices

I already have many photos on iCloud and those are synced with my iOS and OSX devices, however, I would like to add a album and have those not shared accross my devices, but only on icloud.com (as a storage). so those are kind of, "off line" albums. How can we do that?

You need to think and wait.
Photos can't be stored at iCloud (at this time). Music can't be stored at iCloud.
Move your data to your computer (iTunes and iPhoto) and then delete them from your phone to free up space.

Copy the entire /Music/iTunes/ folder to teh external.
Hold Option and launch iTunes.
select Choose library... and select the iTunes folder on the external.
Make sure the external is connected and ready before launching iTunes.
