I wrote a document with "pages" program, but when I attache the document to email and send it people are unable to open it, help anybody?

Export the Pages file to your desktop as a PDF (or Word) file. Then attach it to your E-mail.

A little more information would be helpful.
What version of Pages are you using? The latest is 4.1 with the update released on July 20. In Snow Leopard 10.6.8 you need at least Pages 4.0.5. If you're not running the latest versions & Software Update says your software is up to date, make sure the applications are where the installer initially put them. The updaters are very picky. If the location is not where the updater is programmed to look or if the folder doesn't have the name the updater looks for, it will not work. The applications cannot be renamed or moved. They must be in the iWork '09 folder in Applications. That iWork folder must be named iWork '09. If it doesn't have the '09 Software Update won't find them & the updaters won't work.
If you are running at least Pages 4.0.5 & haven't made any other changes to your Mac since Pages was last working correctly, the likely culprit is corrupt preferences. Go to HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences & delete the com.apple.iwork.pages.plst & restart Pages.

I use BlueHost webhosting that has a primary domain and I have several domains with that account (as sub-domains or folders on this server) - with past versions of Muse when uploading pages it simply opened an alert window to tell me (what I already know) that the website I was uploading does not point to the primary domain BUT NOW Muse tries to create a new separate folder in the root directory of the primary domain - completely ignoring the directory path I am giving it - useless! Why make these senseless changes to the program - and so often - very frustrating it is like amateur ware!.

There are some issues with the upload to ftp via Muse, which the engineering team is aware of and those will be fixed in a future build of Muse. At this point the work around would be to export the html from Muse and then upload via some third party ftp client like filezilla.

You have Duplexing turned on. Turn it off.
This is to do with your Printer Driver and has nothing to do with Pages.

Yes, it does. It is only in my email through Charter that it does not work. I restored all keyboard shortcuts to the default, but that did not fix the problem. I have a MacBook Air.

I do not know how it is done, but you MAY be able to buy her a regular subscription and pay with your credit card... just not the Education version that has strict requirements

Pages is up to date, yet can not open a document.

This message usually means that you have both iWork 08 and iWork 09 on your computer. That's not a problem per se, but you can't use iWork 08 to open iWork 09 documents, and that's what causes the message.
You need to make sure that you are uing iWork 09 apps unless you have a particular need to keep a document in 08 format. Use the command Pages > About Pages to find which version you are using. If the Pages icon on your Dock brings up the iWork 08 version, Quit Pages and then drag the icon off the Dock so you don't use it by accident.
Find the 09 version in the Applicaitons folder, in iWork '09, and drag the Pages app to the Dock to set the proper shortcut.

When I use the disc to try to install the printer driver, I get a message that "I can't open the application HP Installer because the Power PC applications are no longer supported. So long as it is a format for which they have an App.
Most people have either MsWord or something that will open Word files.
Just about nobody has Pages and now that Pages 5 is out even less have that.

You need to buy Pages 09 and also update the MacOs to 10.6.8 (atcually at least 10.6.6).
I recomend that you first download the 10.6.8 Combo update. It is huge and takes a while to get on the computer. You do not want to do it trough software update it you don't have the speediest connection. Use this link http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399
The after the system updating you can go to the AppStore (app will be under the  in the menu) and buy Pages 09 (version4.1) or to the Apple store and buy iWork '09 (which you then have to do updates on)

I use LR3. I can not use it with my NAS. I can not open lightroom category in my NAS.

Connect your iPad, iTunes running, without syncing, right-click your iPad in the left device pane, select "Transfer Purchases". Verify this "Tone" is listed in your Library>Tones. If so, connect your phone & sync it to your phone.

Using the HP Scan in my HP Program, I can scan a document with my HP Officejet Pro 8500A Premium P/F/S. The HP Scan program shows me a preview so I know it scanned correctly, and I can save the document as what I want, but when I try to open the saved document, right now I've been saving it as a PDF file, my PDF program will not open the document. I get a message that the PDF program can not open. Help, please

Welcome to the forums horizonjeana,
I understand you are unable to open your PDF's to view them after they scan however, the scan preview is working fine. I would suggest updating Adobe to see if that helps!
Open Reader or Acrobat.
Choose Help - Check For Updates. If a new update is available, it installs automatically.
Once installed, restart you computer.
Try to print the PDF again.

It sounds like you have installed the iTunes U app, but it is not working for you. I would try the troubleshooting steps from this article named:

1. Update your device software
Update your device to the latest version of iOS.
2. Check for app updates
You can setup apps to update automatically in Settings > iTunes & App Store, but make sure that your apps are up to date:
Open the App Store and tap Updates. If updates are available, tap Update All.
If prompted, enter your iTunes Store account information. App Store will then download and install the app updates.
Note: Some apps may require a Wi-Fi connection to update.
3. Install another app from the App Store
If none of your user-installed apps will launch, there could be an issue with Apple ID authorization. Download and install an app that isn't already installed on your device to reset this information. You can also remove an app from your iOS device and download it again from the App Store or sync the app from your computer.Note: If you have installed apps using multiple Apple ID accounts, you may need to perform this step for each account.
4. Restart the app
If the issue affects only a single app, try closing just that app.
5. Restart your device
Turn the device off and on.
6. Reinstall the affected app
Remove the app from your device and reinstall it:
Tap and hold any app icon on the Home Screen until the icons start to wiggle and show a small "x" in the top-right corner of the app.
Tap the "x" in the corner of the app you want to delete.
Tap Delete to remove the app and all of its data from your device.
Press the Home button.
Go to the App Store.
Search for the app and then download it again.
Note: If it is a paid app, ensure you are using the iTunes account you purchased the app with originally. If it is not, you may be asked to purchase the app again. Learn more about downloading previously purchased items.
