Was your phone locked or unlocked when you used the camera?
If your phone was locked and you used the camera the picture will be in the camera, once you have unlocked your phone then you will see the pic in the photos - camera roll.

I updated my iPod Touch to 6.0.1. -- after much prompting from iTunes. Now my music is GONE (along with apps, photos and podcasts). After syncing a bunch of times some of it came back, but not all of it. How odd is that? How can I get my music back?? I'm really bummed! Everything shows in iTunes, but it's not synching right. So glad I updated. NOT.
Go to iTunea>Preferences>Devices and see if there is a backupright at the time you did the update. Then try restoring from that backup. If the apps are in your iTunes library, any app data will be restored to the iPod.
When restoring from an iOS 4 (or later) backup, if the device had a passcode set, iTunes will ask if you want to set a passcode (and remind you that you had protected your device with a passcode). iTunes will not ask you to set a passcode when restoring from iOS 3.x and prior backups.
Therefore, remembe the passcode that you enter this time.
It appears that if you restore from a backup, that backup is not subseqyently overwritten by the next backup. -
iMovie seems to have developed a glitch. When i try to import photos they show in the timeline but not in the movie.
Any ideas?You are probably looking in the wrong place - all photos in Photo view and in event too unless you have a corrupted library
most common cause of your not finding them is bad sort - view menu ==> sort events
Nest most common cause is a bad data/time on the camera - this can be corrected using a smart album to find the photos from that camera and then using using the adjust time/date command to fix the bad ones
YOu can alwasy find the event a Photo is in by selecting it and selecting show event

Is there anything I should do to the TV or any settings i should do from my actual Macbook? It only shows the space background but not any of my icons or what i am seeing on my laptop screen. It is a new adaptor which was purchased last week.
It seems as though though it may be a connection issue, possibly hardware or adapter. Make certain the connections are TIGHT.
For software you may try a smc reset:
Shut down the computer.
Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
Note: The LED on the MagSafe power adapter may change states or temporarily turn off when you reset the SMC.
Try a pram reset:
Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Option, Command (⌘), P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on your Mac.
Immediately press and hold the Option-Command-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears. Continue holding the keys down until your Mac restarts, and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
If no joy you can take it in to an Apple store genius bar for a free evaluation make an appointment first.

Suddenly all my albums in Photos are blank. The photos are still in the camera roll but not in the albums. What happened and how do I recover them all? Are they in my icloud? Also the photos are clear as thumprints but when I touch it to zoom are blurry. what gives? They were all completely clear and in the albums when I last used my ipad?? Would doing the "Reset" under General settings do that? When I returned from Europe I reset my ipad to get it in the right time zone etc.
Reboot. Press and hold the home and sleep buttons until the apple logo appears. Ignore the red slider.

Why are some photos on camera roll but not in photo stream. Unable to backup as camera roll size is too big for free 5gb.
I assume you have Photostream on, correct?
In order for the photos to be moved into Photostream, you must exit the camera app, and be on a wifi connection. Both of these criteria must be met before the sync occurs. -
My Mac mini won't recognize iphone 4 photo library in itunes so I can download pics from library and free up space in memory, I was able to download camera role but not photo library that takes up more space. Help thanks
The photo sync is one-way: Computer to phone. Photos synced to your phone will have to be extracted from your phone using third-party software, if you want them on your computer, as Apple makes no provision to do so. Since you're using a Mac, you can use this:

I need more space on my iPhone to update to iOS 7.0.6. I was able to import and then delete my Camera Roll but not my Photo Library. How do I do that?
To delete your photo library you need to connect to iTunes, then remove the selection for the images, then sync the device.
While you are connected to iTunes do the update through iTunes. It takes much less memory as the update is loaded onto your computer, unpacked, then sent to the device. -
Apple, Pfft!!! (Another iPod shows up in Windows but not in iTunes post)
How in the world does Apple market the iPod, etc... as if 10-year olds and grandmothers can operate the technology, when having viewed these message boards for 10 hours yesterday, it seems as even the tech savy people who can make a computer out of two pieces of bread and a piece of bologna have to wrack their brains to make it come a step closer to actually working. Blah!!!
Anyway, the problem that I am having is the problem that a lot of other people are having and seems to be the main theme at the moment.
I am unable to have iTunes recognize my iPod. My PC will once-in-a-blue-moon recognize the iPod as its own drive in Windows Explorer, but mostly all I get is the big freeze. Every time I connect my iPod to the USB, all of the programs cease to operate until I unplug it. I am not having memory problems either.
Here's what I've done. I have updated the iPod Updater to the 06-23-06 version. I was able to get it to update the software on my 60GB iPod. I got all excited only to then have it give me several error messages 1) an internal manager error and 2) some unable to dock or something like that (sorry I'm not at my home cpu.) Once while I was doing the 4-hour battery charge my iPod came up in the source list in iTunes, but I have been unable to have it be rerecognized.
I've unistalled and reinstalled iTunes and the iPod Updater over 10 times and have gone through the 5 Rs as well as all of the steps on

I've even messed with msconfig and tried a whole bunch of other suggestions. It doesn't seem that Apple has a fix for this problem and we are all left with paperweights.

Pfft!!!You know they are probably going to search me out and crash my computer for posting this but i had the same problem with iTunes. i spent hours, went through the 50000 "R's" and changed my settings and formatted and reset and reloaded and then i tried Realaudio. it found all the songs i had loaded into iTunes and put them on my shuffle first try. you can get Realaudio at <www.real.com> Let me know how it works...

IPod shows up in Windows but not in iTunes
I have recieved a new IPod video 30Gb off my g/f (how nice of her :D) anyway when I plug it into my computer it will not appear in iTunes, a problem plenty of people are having it seems. The difference being I think I know what caused the problem but I'm having trouble with it still.
When I recieved the Ipod I tried it on my girlfriends computer and it worked fine. She already had an ipod and itunes installed. I was able to add music no problem and it appeared in itunes. She however was having problems downloading on her computer for websites or using download sofware since installing itunes and the problem went away when itunes was uninstalled.
Because of this (there were work arounds so I'm not after a fix for that) I thought I try using other software to see if that stopped me having this problem. This meant when I got my ipod home I plugged the ipod into my computer and did not install anything off the disc. This I believe is what has caused my problem for not being able to see my ipod in itunes.
Anyway I tried to get other software to work (winamp at the time) but couldn't figure it out and so thought I'd just bite the bullet and install itunes and hope I didn't have the same problems as my g/f.
After installing and plugging my ipod in again nothing happened. I checked My Computer and the ipod was there and called PHIL'S IPOD but nothing was in itunes. I then followed all the instructions on here :

Thanks in advance.Two years ago I had to return an ipod mini to the shop for a refund as I could not get it to work. It showed up in windows but not in itunes. I spent about a week trying EVERYTHING, blamed apple for some stupid glitch and gave up. Ten days ago my daughter got an ipod nano, and since we share the same pc I did warn her of what might happen. Yup, it did. Exactly the same problem. Once again I tried all the tricks, the five Rs, renaming the drive, you name it, I did it. Throughout this period though my PC was running a little slow and weird things were happening and despite using Norton Antivirus and other anti spyware I suspected I had not fully recovered from some sort of infection which drove me mad by blasting me with popups for 888 casinos etc. What I thought was really odd was that nothing showed up in Device Manager and having googled around a bit I came across this from which you can download a AproposFix.

Slide show works on PCs but not on Macs
A parent at the school where I teach has just created a
website for us. She used Dreamweaver and photoshop to create it.
There are some pages where there should be a looping slide show
(that runs on its own). These slide shows work on PCs but not on
Macs (it just stays on one photo on Macs). For the slide show she
"just added a timeline to the jpg image, changing the imagesource
every 60 frames, that you can do in dreamweaver." Is there some way
to fix this so it works on both?

Notwithstanding Joe's comments about 508 compliance, there
have been issues
reported in the past regarding the use of timelines on Macs.
It may be
better to seek some 'banner rotation' scripts using Google,
and replace the
timelines with that script. Your volunteer may or may not
know how to do
that....

USB shows up in Finder but not on Desktop
When I insert a USB memory stick in my mba, it shows up in Finder but not on the the desktop. I've searched the forums and Internet and have not found out why this is or how to resolve it.
Any suggestions?In a way, they are the same, or it should be said, "refers to the same". The dock icons launch applications (Finder is an application). However, Finder launches itself in a full-screen desktop view configuration when the OS loads, automatically. That way, you have immediate access to a desktop Finder window to choose a task to perform or to open a file. You can also open additional "sessions" or windows of Finder to perform tasks such as copying, using the Dock icon to perform the task of opening a new window or instance of Finder.
At the top is the menu bar for wahtever application is running in the foreground. As Finder is running in the foreground, when the OS loads, you have immediate access to a Finder menu. In that menu is a Preferences panel for Finder. It is within this panel that you set up the manner in which Finder will display and work. As such, you check which objects will appear on the destop automatically. One of these choics is whther to display external drives on the Desktop finder window. -
How do you delete albums from an I-phone 4,only able to delete from camera roll,but not the other albums
How did the photos get onto the phone ? Only photos taken with the phone or saved from emails/websites etc can be deleted directly on the device. Photos that were synced from your computer are deleted by moving/removing/de-selecting them from where they were synced from on your computer and then re-syncing.

I was using my iPhone got a text opened in and all my contact names had gone went into my contact and it had deleted them all . I turned my phone on and off and 100 came back but not most off them what do I do ?
I suggest you immediately make a backup of your data. You don't know if or when the computer will show some symptoms from the drop. You may want to, for piece of mind, take the computer to an authorised service center for assessment. No one here can assess any internal damage you may have done.

I have been syncing calendar and contacts on my iPhone 5 and Outlook 2007 using iCloud 2.1.3 (my PC is running Vista). All was well until the events I entered on the phone were showing up in Outlook, but not the other way around. I’ve tried the usual recommended steps: deselecting calendar and contacts in the iCloud control panel and then re-selecting, signing out of the panel and back in, and repairing the Outlook installation in control panel. I even uninstalled iCloud on the PC and downloaded it again (same version).
The furthest I’ve gotten is step 2 (and once, step 3) of 7 while performing “Outlook Setup For iCloud.” At that point I get, “Your setup couldn’t be started because of an unexpected error.” After the first attempt at all this, all my calendar events disappeared from Outlook, although they are still in iCloud calendar and on my phone.
