I7 running nvidia is there a problem?

hi peeps is it just me or is that most of the problems with graphics card seem to be nvida based. Or is it just me but the ATI do not seem to be suffering same problems.
so could it be drives or is it the X58 chipset ? Well i have tried sevaral nvidia cards and there a mixed bunch of results from not woring at all to curupt graphics to working.

Huh? This thread is well over a year old. What in the world does this link have to show other than an ATI VGA can be troublesome with an X58 system also?

Logic is the APPlication (program, app) that you are having the problem with.
Logic Pro can take advantage of other computers on your local (home or work) network to help it do "heavy lifting" data chores by using Bonjour and a feature called Nodes. It seems that Logic is attempting to find and connect to another machine on your network.
Do you have Logic installed on another computer there? That may be the source of the confilict.
You might want to post this question in the Logic Pro Community.
Be sure to indicate the version of Logic Pro that you are using. I'm sure the folks there can help you out.

Be sure that it does not continue to run. If it was really interrupted, yes, you must run it again. Otherwise you would have a lot of inconsistancies.

Are there any problems running oracle database express 10g on an windows 2000 server or advanced server running iis 5?
Does oracle database express cause any conflicts with iis (because of used ports etc)

I would not expect a problem under normal circumstances.
Oracle's listener is set for a default port 1521 for database requests, port 8080 for HTMLDB requests. The database connections generally find an empty port above 1024 when establishing a connection.
So, if IIS does not want to use 1521 or 8080, you will generally see no challenges. Even then it is fairly easy to move ORacle's port requirements elsewhere.
Using port 8080 seems reasonably common, but that is easily changed - search for sethttpport in this forum. IIS tromping on 1521 would be rare as it has been a well known Oracle service port since, roughly, forever.

Using the Mac with your iPad has nothing to do with the fact that the iPad is running slow. There could be any number of reasons why the iPad is now running slow.
Have you tried a reset on the iPad?
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Example-CD : "Tracy Chapman , Telling stories" is not able to import . I have more such negative cases. But in other cases it works fine and the sound is great.
The firmware at the inbuild CD/DVD DS-6E2SH is the latest version.

I don't no about virtuel drives like you mententioned. In the mean time I have rebooted the XPS and run again the iTunes diagnostics. I think the back - chance in the registry was not ready to use. Now there are another results. They are the same in case of a running CD or a not running CD. The difference in total is like before. It takes more time that iTunes reads the (bad) CD and at the there is no good sound. In both cases ( running or not running CD) iTunes diagnostics gives as a result :

[Athlon64] RS480M2-IL with nVidia GF 6800 giving problems

Ok so, I bought and contructed my rig and got everything to post, installed win xp pro, all the drivers, flashed a bios update and everything was going good. I installed Battlefield 2 and was about 5 minutes into the game when it froze on me. I'm not sure why this is, but I have isolated that it has to be a graphics problem, since I have tested my ram, made sure the fan controll was disabled and my cpu was remaining cool enough to run (which it was). So, I can't really see it being anything else. I reinstalled the nVidia drivers, still same problem. It happened when I tired to play Half-life 2 and doom 3 so... any suggestions?

I built a rig for a buddy (see specs below) and it will not run a 3d game or benchmark. Anyone have any ideas?????????? The onboard graphics work fine but plug in the vidcard in the PCIE slot and it will crash running games or benchmarks. All drivers are up to date. Numerous BIOS tweaks. Is there some secret setting somewhere to disable the onboard or do I have to leave it enabled?????????

Macbook battery life, is there a problem If I keep it plugged almost all the time?

New Mac user here, so I was wondering if there's a problem if I keep my MBP plugged all the time.
Most of the time I'm on my room using my MBP fully charged and I don't disconnect it.
Is there a problem with my batter life if I do that?
Or it's recommended to unplug and use it till the battery run off and then charge it again?
Because I work a lot on my MBP and that way in a simple day I could charge it and run uff the energy of the battery 2 to 3 times at day.
What's better for the life of my battery?
And if you could give me some advices to maintenance my battery and Macbook pro (also programs) I would appreciate it.

No. I do that most of the time. Perhaps monthly I discharge it to the 40% level to keep the battery happy. Do not discharge the battery completely. If you are forced to use only battery power and you see the battery is low warning terminate your session or plug into AC if you can.

are there any problems identified yet with Snow Leopard Server, installed on a Xserve and PPC Clients running Mac OS X Tiger and Leopard?
Currently I have a Xserve Intel running Leopard Server and about 12 Mac Minis PPC running Mac OS X Tiger and Mac OS X Leopard. The Xserve serves services like DNS, OpenDirectory, Software Update Server, NetBoot, etc. All users have Home Directories stored on the Xserve.
Now I want to install Snow Leoaprd Server on the Xserve, but I wonder if there are any problems using the PPC Clients? I have read something like this on a german website.

We've actually found that the Server 10.6.3 DVD does an amazingly smooth job of upgrading 10.5.8. We've been upgrading our production servers and nothing has gone wrong yet. Snow Leopard employs an archive and install method of upgrading which results in an install which is very close to a clean install. So it's been very convenient for us because our servers are used as Windows PDCs and it's a pain in the *** to have to re-join all PCs to the domain if we start from scratch.

Itunes says theres a problem with QT

I tried to open my itunes a day after the 7.6.2 update and it said there was a problem with QuickTime "itunes cannot run because it detects a problem with QuickTime."
So I went to the apple support and it said to uninstall quicktime so I did.It also gave me a link to download Qtstandalone.It gave me a page saying the download will start automatically I waited 2 hours and nothing happend.So does anyone know a way to help out.

Yes, sorry. im just really strestout. What is happening is that everytime i connect to itunes they say "There's something wrong with your iphone." thats it, and as far as im conserned there is nothing wrong with it. It wont let me do anything with my iphone. i dont know what other detail to give. Maybe if there is another way to restore? This has never happened to me before when I restored. Im just wondering if i really need to go to a apple sore to fix this and find out whats going on. there is no error code or anything. there is not much more to tell you. that i know of.

Sql Server Agent: job hasn't run once today. Scheduling problem?

I created this job yesterday at about 4PM; the view history shows that it last ran successfully at 11:53PM. These are the settings I put:
Schedule Type: Recurring
Occurs: Daily
Recurs every: 1 days(s)
Occurs every: 5 minute(s)
Starting at: 05:00:00 PM
Ending at: 11:59:59 PM
Start Date: 10/30/2014
No End Day (selected)
The job is enabled, but it hasn't run once yet today. I don't want to start it manually because it should've started already. It is currently not running.
What can the problem be?

The length varies, but it's usually a bit over an hour to finish. It's set at 5 minutes so that, as soon as it completes, it runs the job again. The job history yesterday was: 5:48P, 7:03P, 7:43P, 8:58P, 9:53P, 10:58P, 11:53P. The job downloads some files,
and that's why the job varies in length.

I would say there is no point in scheduling a job which runs for 1 hr to run at every 5 mins although as per SQL Server agent logic if job is currently running and it misses schedule it will only start when job is finished. I would say to change logic to
run every 1 hr.
Plus I cannot find the support article but I know there was bug where Agent job could miss schedule can you please apply
SQL Server 2008 R2 SP3. There are 2 reason
1. it might fix your schedule skipping issue
2 You would come under purview of extended support. Which I guess is very important.
You can easily open job activity monitor and look for column Next run date

I have a ibook g4 mid 2005 model and the hard drive says zero kb free i deleted half of my applications i dont need and it still says zero kb free. is there a problem with my ram? or is there a mac virus or somthing? also when i opened a game after a while it said force quit please and delete stuff becuase your hard drive is full. someone help me please!

It does not sound like a RAM issue but a disk problem. You might just need to empty the trash so that the deleted space is marked free. Otherwise it is best to boot from an install CD, run Disk Utility, and do a "Repair Disk"

Is there a problem with iOS 7.0 .4?

I have three iPads one iPad running 7.0 .4 and 3 running 7.0 .3. Airplay does not work on the one running 7.0.4, it works on the other 3. Is there a problem with airplay on 7.0 .4? I am using an Apple TV two running 5.2.

Nope, I have no problem with Apple TV using iOS 7.0.4.
Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
