IAC view and BSP iviews gives pop up for user id and password

Hello All,
I am facing a problem in quality portal.
we have SSO configuration between Portal and ECC system and the Jco connection using SSO with login tickets are working fine,test and ping both are succesfull.
The ESS and MSS webdynpro application are also working fine.
But the IAC iviews and BSP iviews says "session managment will not work ! Please check the DMS log files for details" and then ask for user id and password of the ECC system,But the system alias that i am using,is configured for SSO with logon tickets.
same iviews are working fine in devlopment system with system alias with SSO Login tickets but in qa it is asking for id and password ...
I have checked all the system properties also FQDN of ECC system is also maintained.
Please suggest what could be the issue ??

Hi,
When messages about Session management popup then it is 99% an FQDN issue, but you say you already checked it.
Did you also checked the parameters:
- ITS Host Name
- Web AS Host Name
... in your system object?

Can you exit out of the app by pressing the home button ? Hi Experts,
First scenario:
We have crated few mandatory fields in incident when ever we are not filling the mandatory fields and try to SAVE (Incident Tool bar button) the Incident, it will Check for any Error Messages, before saving the Document,
If entries not found in mandatory fields record will not get saved.
This functionality we are controlling in EH_ONSAVE method of the SRQM_INCIDENT_H/IncidentOV.
Second scenario:
But After filling few fields in Incident screen, If I click on NEW button for a new incident or BACK button , it give one popup with message Do you want to save the changes ? With Buttons Yes, No and Cancel. If I click on the Yes button Incident gets saved with an IRN number without entry of any mandatory data.
How can I control the second scenario as first scenario? Please suggest how to controll Yes, No and Cancel Buttons on Pop-Up for BACK or NEW button as SAVE button.

Since when are you facing this issue? Did you tried system restore to a date before this problem occured.
Does acrobat stop working when you open this specific pdf file or with any pdf file that you open?

CIC0 - asks for user name and password on CRM

Hi folks,
I am a BASIS gui am facing a peculiar problem with our production CRM system. It is a CRM 5.0 system and we have no java stack . The customer service users have reported on a daily basis when they are logged into CRM system and working with CIC0 transaction for several hours, suddenly a pop up comes up stating
"The server <CRM server server name> is requesting that a user name and password be sent in an insecure manner (basic authentication without a secure connection) "
This is happening when a user logged on the CRM system itself. There is no java stack on this system, pure ABAP system. When this popup comes up, the user then puts his/her user name and password and hits ok and is able to continue with work only to be interrupted the next day in the middle of work. So they are able to login , keep doing their for hours and suddenly are asked to revalidate their user name and password.
1. If the user is logged in for several hours and is working fine, what happens suddenly that the user name, password is forgotten and requires to be re-inputted?
2. Is this related to the browser? But the users only work on CIC0 abap system, they do not open a browser , and this is not via portal or a web-ic link...this is all pure abap login via a sapgui.
3. I have copied the same user and am testing to see if the pop up pops up on me...but so far this pop up is not comming up for me....can this be related to user's local desktop windows or browser settingis there any password cache setting ..if so does it mean every time user tries CIC0, a cached password is sent to the server ......I am confounded ...where is the issue, what settings is this related to...

Hello Vikram,
Apparently CIC0 makes use of WAS which requires separate authentication. This can possibly explain this issue. Just check if you have maintained the local SSL certificate. Also ensure SSO is also in place. Check STRUSTSSO2 for this.

I have a Search page and a List page.
Both pages are based on the same view within the same application module.
The Search page is using the default Find and Execute Operations.
The Execute button has an action that navigate to the List screen.

I have created a report which is using AS/400 db2 database.Connection is setup in a universe and through Client Access ODBC driver.
Users are trying to connect AS/400 db2 system through ODBC(Client Access ODBC driver) and full client BO 6.5.
It asks for signon to AS/400 prompt for USER ID and PASSWORD when BO report is refreshed by users.
Is there any way i can avoid the USER ID and PASSWORD as it is not feasible to give database USER ID and PASSWORD to each users.

In order to continue to play and sync the music you purchased with your old account, you'll need to authorize your new computer/iTunes library to do so. You can do this by choosing Store -> Authorize This Computer and then entering in your old account credentials.
That's all you should need to. Then just create your own account and start purchasing and using it the same you have with the old one.

iTunes Match is not sharable across Apple IDs. The best way to get the music on her iPad is to leave hers signed into her Apple ID on the iTunes Store and sync via USB.
