resource name used is "GIGA_8542" an alias for GPIB4::13::INSTR, the Gigatronics power meter at address 13 which is connected to the gpib-enet/100. I am making a *IDN? call to the device using a "VISA WRITE". There is a "VISA READ" configured for the test equipment response. The error code -1073807300 occurs at the output of the "VISA WRITE". Again Visa has identified the resource and through Ibic I can communicate. Thanks.

My guess would be it has created an entirely new backup of your drive when you upgraded to Mavericks.

Is it possible to use an IrDA protocol with LabVIEW 8.2.1 in DSP BlackFin?

Dears,
I'm building a project to communicate a DSP BlackFin 533 with a Palm E2 Tungsten between IrDA Protocol. The packaged LabVIEW installed in Palm allows to use IrDA protocol, but I don't know if the packaged for BlackFin DSP allows or not.
Is it possible to use an IrDA protocol with LabVIEW 8.2.1 in DSP BlackFin?

Using PVCS keyword replacement with LabView

Has anyone tried using "fixed keyword expansion" with LabView? There is feature that you can use to replace text strings in a binary file but I've not been able to make it work for a VI.

I don't think that is going to work. PVCS has no way to know about the
offsets and size fields located in a given VI. I'm not familiar with
the option you are asking about, but my suspicion is that it is
specifically designed for a particular resource format or EXE format.
If you are looking for a solution to translate strings in a VI, there
are menu items under Tools>Advanced for Exporting and Importing strings.
The file format is pretty readable for hand translating, and pretty
easy to parse if you want to extract the strings to another form,
translate, an
d rebuild.

This makes no sense. You don't configure a listener nor a tnsnames.ora "in a database".   I hope this is just a language issue and not reflective of a fundamental misunderstanding of how tns works.

I am confused. Do you mean you found the music, not the tones, or you can't find either?
If the former, then this is normal. You can't redownload tones from the Cloud.

Under Part 9. Verify that USB drivers are installed, did you try the steps in If only "Unknown Device" appears? That appears to be your situation.
Also, you said that the shuffle initially worked well enough to do a sync, then it had the same problem again. If you can get it to work again initially, before doing anything else, try the following. Select the shuffle in the iTunes sidebar, under DEVICES. Over to the right, go to the Summary tab. By default, the checkbox for Enable disk use should be unchecked. If so, check it and Apply the change. See if that makes any difference.
(If Enable disk use was already checked, try unchecking it and Apply the change. Basically, set it the "other way" and see if there is any improvement.)
NOTE: When disk use is enabled, you have to eject the iPod in iTunes before disconnecting it physically.
If the disk use change makes a difference, that may provide a clue about the actual cause.

2. Double check your resources, namely in Disk manager. What is free space on HDD?
