IBAN and SWIFT codes in IT0009

Hi Folks,
I have been asked to add IBAN and SWIFT codes to IT0009 for various countries on the ECC system. I have activated IBAN in the img which has resulted in a push button for the IBAN's but is there a way to get the SWIFT code on the screen or is this set in Finance somewhere?
Many thanks and points rewarded for correct answers!
Danny boy

I had figured out that from checking the help but thanks for your response - the SWIFT code can not be held directly on IT0009 as far as I can see using the standard screens.
Many thanks,
Dan

  • Obligatory fields "iban" and "swift" in vendor master data creation

    Hi,
I need a way to get obligatory iban and swift in vendor master data.
I need to check if iban and swift have been filled during creation or modification of a vendor (transactions XK01, MK01, FK01,XK02, MK02, FK02 ).
    In user-exit ZXF05U01(function EXIT_SAPMF02K_001) I can't check iban and swift fields.
Do you know another way to solve my issue?
    Thanks in advance. Stefano.

    Hi Stefano,
swift codes are data from financial institute (and not vendor data). So try exit (CMOD) SAPLBANK (but I dont no if it will work!).
As i remember (at time iban where introduced), there was an exit to check consistency (mean "rules") to propose/create iban from account no of vendor. But i cant remember the name of this exit, so you may search in sap notes for this exit.
    Best regards,
    Christian

  • Email ID and Swift code through Vendor Mass  MAintenance XK99

Dear experts, is there a way to mass update Vendor email lD and swift code through XK99?
I found all other fields, but not these two. What could be the work around if not possible through XK99?
    Thank you and Warm regards,
    Sumit.

It's not possible to update thro XK99.
You need to run a BDC to update this data frm relevant tables. eg: LFB1 table you get one unique ID( Personal No.) for each vendor. This you input in relevant Address table (say ADRC) to update the Address

  • Table name from which to extract bank name and swift code by key field as vendor code

Please help with the table name from which we can extract the bank name and swift code of vendors with the key input as vendor numbers

Hello Subhadra, I'm sorry, I should've said join of LFBK and BNKA. The fields for the join will be the bank country(BANKS) and bank key (BANKL).
If you have not found a docu on SQVI already, you can refer to this:
How to create Report by using SQVI
This is how your join should look in BASIS mode, your selection parameter should be vendor code LIFNR; output fields with be bank name BANKA and swift code SWIFT.

  • Correspeondent of beneficiary bank name and swift code

    Hi,
    We have a requiremnet.
When we pay a foreign currency to foreign vendor, we not only need the beneficiary bank name, account and swift code(which can be maintained in vendor master data and bank key), but also need correspondent of beneficiary's bank name and swift code.
Where is SAP can maintain correspondent of beneficiary's bank name and swift code? Is there a standard field to maintain this?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
Beneficiary bank details are maintained in TCode FIBPU.

  • Bank Key, Bank Number and SWIFT code

    Hi expert,
I would like to consult your expertise on the following issues: Bank Key, Bank Number and SWIFT code.
In Country Field Check, OY17, If I select the bank key (section key for bank directory) options 4, assigned externally; then in FI01 bank key data creation, my bank number (in control data section) can be freely defined.
If in OY17, my bank key option is 1, bank number.  Then, during FI01 bank data creation, my bank number must be same with bank key.
My question is that:  I would like, in OY17, selection option 4, but I would like to have some clarifications on FI01 bank creation as well as electronic bank statement ( section of: Assign bank account accounts to transactions types):  In the section of Assign bank account accounts to transactions types, I need to fill in bank key+bank account and transaction type.
My Questions: during MT940, electronic bank statement (EBS), since I set bank key + bank account, what control data (in FI01 screen) that SAP will use for automatic EBS?  Bank number or SWIFT code?
Besides that, I am not quite understand statement by SAPPress book, Quick Reference Guide Financial Accounting with SAP - Chapter 7 Banking, as follows:
If you use the SWIFT code as bank key in a specific country, we strongly recommend that you set the bank data flag on the further checks section in OY17.  This ensures that the system automatically performs the formal control on the SWIFT code entered in the SWIFT code field (BNKA-SWIFT), and not on the SWIFT code entered in bank key.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
House bank is the bank through which your company is dealing all their financial transaction.
Bank key is a country unique number in the US it is called the ABA routing number.
The account ID is a user definable field that allows you to "name" your bank accounts at your bank using any convention you prefer.
Bank master data means all the data related to a particular BANK .examole HDFC all the information related this particular bank.
House bank master data  it is related all your bank master data.Example,Hdfc,ICICI,Axis ,BOB  etc.
The S.W.I.F.T. code is used for identifying banks in international  payment transactions.Uniquely identifies a bank throughout the world.
Bank number is a code given to a particular Bank.

  • IPhone Developer Banking/Tax Form issues:  W8BEN, GST506E and SWIFT CODE

    Hey guys,
I am new to this entire iphone development thing and having a hard time with this whole Banking/Tax Information process. I have a few questions I'd like to ask:
    1) I cannot for the life of me see a link anywhere on iTunes Connect to fill out an SS-4 or a W8BEN. Many have done so and even Apple's FAQ includes instructions and locations of these links for the forms. The FAQ also states that the W8BEN form must be done through Apple if being completed the first time and then mailed to update. I have looked all over but could not find it. I have heard rumours on other forums that W8BEN is no longer needed. Can this be confirmed?
Does anyone know if I am still required to fill the W8BEN form out?
    2) Regarding the GST506E form, I have filled out the Legal Name portion with my legal name (including middle name), which I use for most of my legal documents in Canada, however my paid contract has already been electronically signed with my name (without the middle name). Will this provide an issue to the entire process?
    3) Similar to the missing W8BEN form, I did not find a place to enter my SWIFT CODE when filling out the banking information. At the moment the Banking info is frozen in place for "24 hours", waiting for the tax forms to come in. Is this still necessary?
    4) Does Apple have a number I can reach them at with regards to these issues I am having? The only place I can turn to is [email protected], but these guys have not emailed me back in almost a week. I have also tried [email protected] and [email protected], no luck either.
I apologize for the long post, but this entire process is getting too frustrating and I am hoping someone here know the answers.
    Thanks for reading my post!
    Peter

Thanks a lot for your post! I've been worrying they did not receive my info since they did not reply in any way. We'll see once the next payments come. I think they at least should have emailed me confirmation that the message was received. The same way they work with technical requests.
Still. Does anyone know what to do about corespondent banks info?

I am uploading Bank information into FK02 tcode.
Here I am uploading LIFNR, BANKS,BANKL,BANKN, IBAN and Swift code.
Except Swift code, everything is updating correctly into the transaction. Why Swift code is not getting correctly updated?
Is there any dependency to this field.?

    Hi,
          1) first check the bdc by putting mode as 'A' all screens
          2) and check is there any need for conversion routines i.e conversion_exit_aplpha_input

  • Displaying SWIFT code after IBAN switch activation (SEPA)

    Hello,
We activated the switch ADMIN - IBAN in table T77S0 to enable the IBAN functionality in the various infotypes for the changes related to SEPA. The screen modifications work correctly and we now get the new version of the screen... the IBAN is stored directly in the infotype instead of in the TIBAN table and it all works fine.
The only problem is that users were accustomed to seeing the SWIFT information in the subscreen that would pop up with the old functionality, and with the new functionality all they can see is the IBAN. I noticed there is a field SWIFT in the structure of tables PA0009 and PA0011 but it doesn't seem to be in use as all our records show this field empty.
Is there a standard way to display the SWIFT information in the infotype screens or would this need to be a customer enhancement?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    David.

When the infotype 0009 is maintained, the SWIFT code cannot be
maintained. Moreover the SWIFT code is not stored in the database
PA0009. The SWIFT field exists in the database PA0009 but the field
is not processed via the transaction PA30. The bank key is stored in
the table PA0009. The combination bank country key and bank key
is then used to find the SWIFT code. This is found in the DB table
BNKA (transaction FI02). The SWIFT code is not used in HR and not
    stored in the infotype 0009.
Therefore the swift code is not updated in the infotype 0009.
1839405 - IBAN in Overview screen / SWIFT code in detail screen
but for this switch should be S.
ALso. there is a note which was release to read SWIFT and IBAN for SEPA purposes
ie note 1889740 for pilot, if you cant see this note, Please raise an OSS message

  • SWIFT Code and iTunes Connect

iTunes Connect is requiring me to enter a SWIFT code, I called my Credit Union that handles my Business Checking for the last 10 years and they said they don’t have a SWIFT or BIC code, just use the routing number. When I put in the routing number the page gives me an error stating that the SWIFT is invalid. I really do not want to change banks after all these years for this, is there a way I can get this to work?
My CU is GTEFCU if that helps.

  • Updating SWIFT Code in Vendor Master with IDoc

    Hello,
I am facing the following problem.
We are using IDoc CREMAS04 to update vendor master data. Now we also would like to use the SWIFT code. I have seen that there is a SWIFT field in the IDoc in segment E1LFBKM in the CREMAS04 IDoc. However the SWIFT field in vendor master data is still empty after transferring the IDoc.
Any idea why the value in the SWIFT field of CREMAS04 IDoc is not transferred to the vendor master data? Are there any other approaches I could follow?
Thank you so much for your help!

    Hi Florian,
Not sure if this will answer your question but the swift code is part of the bank master and not the vendor master.
You can check via de Bank data button in de vendor master or via FI03 for the specific bank country and bank key fi the Swift code is in there.
If not or you already checked the above this answer will  be no help and i think you really have to debug/analyze to see what goes wrong.

  • HOUSE BANK - Account ID, Bank Key, Swift Code

    Hi All,
I hv doubt in customisation of a house bank. While configuring a house bank, we need:-
    1)  Account ID
    2)  Bank Key
    3)  Swift Code
could anybody please explain what is the role of these 3 items when we run Automatic Payment Programme & manual bank reconcialtion of any house bank.
    Thanks in advance
    Deepak Garg

    Hello Deepak,
I try to explai as my best:
    1) Account ID:
This is uinique ID for bank a/c no. To identify ur bank under same house bank. here u will be giving the gl a/c for each bank. for ex:
In SBI u have one current a/c and one loan a/c. u will create one SBI house bank and two a/c id's which is for current a/c and loan a/c.
    2) Bank Key:
This is an identification for ur house bank. i.e. each branch will have a unique bank key. thats how u will identify the house banks.
    3) Swift Code:
The S.W.I.F.T. code is used for identifying banks in international payment transactions. for ur payments in other currency or foreign currency ur bank needs to have a SWIFT code.
    Thanks

  • SWIFT Codes for Banks

    Hi
In Bank Master data, SWIFT code is one of the entries with respect to a Bank. Generally most of the International Banks have a specific "SWIFT" code specific to a country.(FI02)
There is a requirement in a client where in Credit Suisse Bank has 2 Swift codes. For a vendor to make payments the Bank master is to be updated on a regular basis to keep switching between the two SWIFT codes. The issue is the bank master record is based on Bank Country and Bank Key. We are not able to create a new record with a different SWIFT code. Can you suggest a method to circumvent daily changes in master data and how we can maintain 2 records with different SWIFT Codes.
    Karthik

    Hi,
Generally, each bank will have only one single SWIFT code.   Please check the following link:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_47x200/helpdata/en/d0/7101b81caf11d2954b00a0c9426c73/frameset.htm
    Also,
    BIC/Bank Identifier Code
Every Bank location has a unique Bank Identifier Code, also known as a SWIFT Code. Other BIC Codes used for sending outgoing Wire Transfers are ABA, Fed Wire (US), BLZ Code (Germany), Sort Code (UK).
I think u need to recheck?

  • House Bank address & swift code

    Hi All
We have configured the house bank in development system and moved to QA 300, but Bank address & swift code is not moved to QA300.  Remaining House bank, Bank country and Bank Key are moved successfully.
what was the reason swift code & Bank address is not moved to QA300.
    Regards
    K.Gunasekar

    Hi Gunasekar,
The address in bank Key is actually not transported normally. You need to do some setting in the transport request to transport it to the next system.
    Transportation of BNKA table:-
Step 1 Double click on created request.
Step 2 Open the tab Objects, Enter R3TR, TABU and BNKA in the column Program ID, Object Type and Object Name.
Step 3 Double Click on BNKA Object name and and enter * for table contents.
Now Transport as usual and the address data will also get transported.
    Regards,
    SAPFICO
