Dear all! Please, help me with the following...
have the mistake Generation is not possible in IT0009 when I enter Bank account and IBAN.
Could you please tell me how to make it correct???
We are from KZ and are moving to IBANs - it is 20 symbols of length, KZ + CC + bank code + bank account of the client.
I thought that I made all the prerequisites for IBAN, yet I still have this mistake.
In OY17 transaction we have set the length of the field - the length of Bank account is maximum 18.
In IMG Set the payment method we activated IBAN required.
In V_TIBAN we made several records via RFIBAN02 program (in OOIF transaction we have ADMIN IBAN 'S', not 'X', as it is said the sap help).
In SM30 --> T588M every field is standard, screen 2000 in IT0009 standard.
What else should be done to avoid this error???
As for note 925410 we don't have this SAP supported CONVERT_IBAN_2_BANK_ACCOUNT_XX

Hello Partha,
Have you included the DME fields in your DME tree.
fields are FPAYH-ZIBAN (IBAN of Payee)
FPAYHX-UIBAN (IBAN at Housebank).
These fields should be customized in the DME for the values to be picked and considered in DME.
IBAN and Swift code checkbox in Payment Method are Required ONLY if you want them to be mandatory field. If you mark these checkboxes, your Payment run will not be successful, until the IBAN and Swift code values are available. These checkboxes have nothing to do with the values in DME.

IBAN matter - FI12 - SWIFT or BIC?

Dear all!
I am an HCM consultant but I am writing here because we have some challenges concerning FI.
Since 2010 we are moving to IBANs and BICs in our country.
As far as the IBAN's and BIC's (bank identification codes) entry date is 07 June 2010 due to our local legislation, we have made all the customizing in HCM.
But in FI they would set the new entries in FI12 T-Code since 07 June - new 8-symbolic BICs and new IBANs instead of the old Bank code (which was 9-digits), IBAN have never been used.
Here in HCM in the beginning of June we would form register to send money to people for May to the banks which should already contain new BICs and IBAN, BUT in FI all BICs and IBANs are available since 07 June 2010 due to local legislation!!! So there is going to be a conflict because of new and old Bank codes.
The question is - what is the difference between "SWIFT code" field and BIC - Bank account???? They seem to look absolutely similar in the current existing entries in FI12. Is it possible to use this "SWIFT code" field instead of BIC???

Sorry, yes i know it is the BNKA data. What i am asking is, does anyone know if there is a file that can be ordered or received from a banking institution or somewhere that would carry alot of the foreign banking information that can be downloaded into SAP so that when a vendor supplies us with the bank and their account number, we do not have to rely on their interpretation of what he bank key is and what is the swift code of the bank, all they have to do is give us some information along with their bank account number that they have at that bank, and then be able to pick from one that is already available in the system. For instance some bank keys for a foreign bank, use a swift code as the bank key, some actually have a bank key that is different. Most of the vendors are supplying us with a swift code and an IBAN, which we can get the bank key from the IBAN however we do not want to have to do a lot of analysis and investigation on a daily basis if we don't have to. Plus if it isn't correct, the bank will then put the wire in a repair status and charge us a fee for every fix, which can be costly.

We have a requirement to upload IBAN details of vendors using FK02 using LSMW. Also the vendors which does not have bank details we need to add them.

Remember if IBAN is entered with out bank account number then where ever bank account is blank with the same bank key system will update same IBAN every where...
Do the following steps;
First; Maintain Bank accout number for all those vendor where it is missing once it is done then do the step two..
Two; Update IBAN using t.code FIBAN (Table TIBAN) instead of loading thru FK02 as IBAN has no reletion with vendor number instead with Bank account number (Although you can update IBAN from FK02 its up to you) but FIBAN is easy and it is a matter of copy / paste only with the right bank account number and bank keys etc etc.....
I would strongly recommend you to make the Bank account field mandatory in vendor master data to avoid any Discrepancy in future as stated above......

Currently we are not maintaining IBAN in our vendor master and would like to do this
But in our vendor master > bank details; there is no push button to enter IBAN
Is there some config to be done???? I mean how to get that push button wherein i can enter the IBAN in vendor master and thereafter see in table TIBAN

How do I fix my MacBook Pro that continues to abruptly turn off, no matter what I am doing? Even after deleting items/trying resolution methods?

How can I fix my MacBook Pro? I have a relatively recent model of the MacBook Pro. I’ve been running Mavericks.
For the past few days, it has been randomly clicking off by itself, I guess crashing. I would be online or just doings on it, sometimes nothing at all, and the screen would go black, the computer would turn off. Then, I would proceed to try to turn it back on, and it won’t turn on for several minutes, no matter what buttons you push. I tried doing an SMC reset for myself. It did not help much. I deleted all my personal files, including plug-ins, especially flash player. I thought that helped, but the computer proceeded to turn off minutes later. Then, out of frustration, (as I have done twice or so before since having the computer) I did what may be called a factory reset for my computer. I erased the current operating system information/memory in disk utility, and then went on to reinstall OS X. This was working fine, and then, a few minutes into the downloading process, my computer turned off once again.
Now, I have no system to operate on. I keep turning the computer back on to try to do it again. But now, the computer tries to do a remote or internet recovery, and tries to re-download an operating system using my WiFi. I’m sure this would be successful, but the computer can’t function for more than a minute or two without crashing/turning off.
I am fairly certain that my power button is NOT stuck.
I did earlier notice the fan making noise, before doing the SMC reset.
The computer did seem to say there was no batteries available at one point.
(But all of this was okay after some point, and I was just doing the reset to try to correct the turning off the system was still doing)
A week or two ago, I did have a glitch where my desktop picture was flashing and acting weird, and other functions on my computer keyboard not working, like volume, keyboard brightness, etc. But I did fix it.
I have not ever had much on this Macbook pro. I do not download applications. I do not store nearly any files on the computer. I usually only use the flash player plug-in. This computer is only used for doing work/business, and for personal use online.
I can’t see why I would have so many problems.
Is it possible that erasing the memory twice or so before is causing an error or issue in the drive?
What is the root of this problem, and how can I fix it on my own?
I can’t really make any progress on the computer since it turns off after only a minute or two no matter what you are trying to do.
What do I do now?

if your MacBook Pro doesn’t stay active long enough to perform an OS X Internet Recovery, then you should make an appointment at your nearest Apple store or Apple-authorized service provider to have them diagnose what’s ailing it.

No matter what acct I send an email from it gets sent from my gmail

I only have 2 accts set up on my iPhone: gmail (personal) and bethelmaine.org I can receive email into both accts with no problem, but when I try to reply from my bethelmaine acct the recipient gets it from my gmail acct. I know for a fact the Cc/Bcc, From: line is bethelmaine.org and I also know that the recepient gets it as gmail because I tested it several times by sending to my wife's yahoo acct. This happens when the primary server (under settings: mail, contacts, calendars: accounts) is turned off.
The bethelmaine acct outgoing server is set up in Outlook as smtp.megalink.net. When that is set up as the primary server and turned on I get a message that says "the recipient was rejected by the server" no matter who I try to send to.
Not sure what to do!

It seems pretty clear to me.
When you turn off your primary account the only active account the phone can send via is your Gmail account, and that's what you're seeing.
The question is why do you need to turn off the primary account.. which you answer:

That's because your ISP (megalink) is using access controls to manage who sends mail through their mail server. The first thing they're probably doing is using IP address restrictions - essentially saying they'll only relay mail from any machine on their network (including dialup/DSL/etc. customers), but you're not on their network, you're on an AT&T (or Verizon) 3G connection which isn't in their IP address range, and therefore not valid as far as their mail server is concerned.
The typical solution to this is authentication - by authenticating to their server (via username and password) you identify yourself as a customer and they should relay your messages. So check your phone to ensure that you have authentication enabled for your primary mail account.
If that fails (e.g. they don't support authenticated SMTP) the next option would be to relay the message through your cell provider's mail server - as an AT&T wireless customer you should be able to relay through AT&T's mail server... likewise for Verizon (or whatever national carrier your iPhone is on). You'll need to check with your carrier's site for the specifics of the mail server address to use.

Why do constant CC updates matter? Adobe is not putting out many essential updates anymore.

Reading these posts on CC I have continually come across people who claim that to be a serious professional in a creative field you need to have your Adobe software up to date. How does one compete if they are using old Adobe software? As someone who has been working in the field for a long time I don’t see how this could be any further from the truth. Yes, I do believe that you need software that is relatively up to date but I don’t believe you need the new software that is coming from Adobe. The software that I really need has been coming from third party plug-ins. This is probably the main reason I have a problem with the rental software; it keeps pushing new updates on you even when they are the wrong updates. Below are many examples at how over the past several years the 3rd party has constantly delivered and Adobe has faltered.
When I first tried out InDesign’s automatic text flow feature I couldn’t get it to work even after asking around on several different online forums. I was told about some plug-ins that could do auto text flow and after I tried it everything worked.
I later found that when I would add or delete a page that had facing pages my layout would get completely messed up. How could I fix this problem? By upgrading to a new version of ID? Nope, new versions of ID didn’t fix that. I fixed the problem by buying a plug-in.
I once had a client who sent me a Word file that was loaded with grammar errors. In a perfect world the content editor should be the one mostly in charge of fixing grammar but as we all know we don’t live in a perfect world. Unfortunately ID does not provide grammar checking at all. This feature has been available in Word since like, what, 1988(?) but it won’t work on the absolutely latest version of ID. It will work with a plug-in.
The history panel is a feature that has been available since about PS 5. It has provided some of the most basic functionality of a graphics program; the ability to go back a few steps. Since this is such a basic feature it’s made it’s way to other apps like Fireworks and Lightroom. It’s even available in consumer apps like PS Elements. So how can you run this basic feature in a professional program like ID FIFTEEN YEARS after it was released in PS 5? Get a plug-in.
Hey look! The new features page says that CC finally comes with built in barcode support! Hallelujah!! Praise the Lord! Now there is a feature that I can use! True, I needed the feature three years ago when I was making ID badges and, yes, I already spent hundreds of dollars buying a plug-in that can more then adequately do that functionality already, but hey better late then never right? Good things surely do come to those who wait!
Huh? What is that I am now reading? The barcode software only supports the pattern type of barcodes and not the standard line type found on just about every kind of merchandise know to mankind? My client needed the standard kind of barcode. When is that going to be released? Do I have to wait another three years?
The fact of the matter is that Adobe has come out with THREE major updates since I last upgraded and I can still barely find enough important features that would make the update worthwhile. New features this time around include things like font management (even though every serious designer already has font management software) and a different color interface.
This shortage of new worthwhile features is certainly not due to there being enough features that need improvement. For an example doing a very simple data merge with a basic layout is still immensely complicated. I would be overjoyed if they made that process as simple and powerful as it should be. Instead what we will get is more pointless updates that will only break the important plug-ins that I rely on to get my work done on tight deadlines. You know how web browsers with bi-monthly updates (Firefox, Chrome) keep breaking your browsers plug-ins except this time instead of breaking goofy trivial plug-ins that let you do things like check the weather they will break important ones that you need to rely on to get work done.
The plug-ins developers will have to dedicate an enormous amount of time checking to see if their software works with every little ID update that comes out. This means they will have less time to working on features even though they are the ones making the best advancements.

Yes, I realize that Firefox is free, but that doesn't really negate the validity of anyone's frustrations. I just wish they would warn people better about the problems that the updates can cause before asking people to update. Most people rely very heavily on their computers for work, etc. and not everyone has the time or ability to easily undo the problems that the updates cause. Again, if it was just a one-time thing that I've had to deal with, I wouldn't mind as much.

Yes it sounds like you have a corrupted preference file.
The setting you make in individual programs get saved to a Preference file in your Users/Library/Preferences folder.
All you have to do is drag out the old file to the desktop, reboot and load the program and the preference file gets rebuilt without your preferences which you reset.
For your case I beleive the preference file is
com.apple.desktop.plist

URGENT HELP NEEDED!!! (Almost a matter of life and death)

Well, it's more of a matter of failing a course or not...
Anyway, my Java professor gave us some labs to do. I know Java front and back, at least, whatever version I learned a few years back. This is my first tenure with the Scanner object, and it's messing me up.
I'm using Eclipse for my project. I have three files in the source folder, ABC_Manufacturing.java, mseast.dat and mswest.dat. Now, when I try to instanciate a new Scanner object, it won't find the files:

Scanner west = new Scanner(new File("mswest.dat"));
I'm trying two seperate ways to do this. Neither are working, this is the error I get:

Now, I added these files OVER and OVER again. I added them. I created new files and pasted the contents in there. I used .txt files. All the same error. It's like it just won't take the time out to look for the files that are RIGHT IN THE DAMN PROJECT! Then I tried using a complete path, using C:\Java\whatever. SAME ERROR!!!!
Please, I need urgent help. This is due tomorrow at noon, and I have no idea what to do at this point. I can't really continue, because at this point its just looking at what prints out and formatting it, and I don't want to do that without testing to see if my code to convert the file data into arrays work. You dig? Thanks for any and all help, and I'm going to kill my professor...she spent a week going over parallel arrays but did nothing to show us how to import files into projects or use the scanner class. Also it doesn't help that at uni we have to use emacs, which I don't use at home.

Has anyone been able to contact Adobe to learn why their Flash Player does not work on Mac OS 10.6.8, no matter how many updates you install? This seems like a big error by Adobe.

I have thee Mac computers with Mac OS 10.6.8, one of which is a Mac Pro. No matter how many updates I install from Adobe, their Flash Player does not work on any of these 3 computers. I don't know how to contact Adobe Systems about this problem, but I think it is their responsibility to make sure that their so-called "universal" software works proplerly on a relatively recent operating system like OS 10.6.8 that is still in widespread use. When you install the updates, nothing happens -- not even an error message. What is the point of a universal player that is not universal? It works fine on my MacBook Pro with OS 9 Mavericks, but it does not work at all -- indeed, has never worked -- on my 3 Macs with OS 10.6.8. Has anyone contacted Adobe Systems to find out why the Flash Player does not work with OS 10.6.8 and what they plan to do about it?

Where are you getting Flash from?
Get the appropriate dmg installer here and then run it.

If it still won't install, do these two things: First uninstall any Flash by going into the second level Hard Drive Library>Internet Plug-ins, and trash the Flash Player.plugin and flashplayer.xpt. Then boot into Safe Boot, Shift at the startup chime (give it much longer than a usual boot) and run the installer while booted in Safe Boot.

? I get a matte gray screen on restart, Mac Pro, OS 10.7.3

After installing updates, I restarted my Mac and it ends up with a matte gray (cloth-like appearance) with a gray Apple logo, but does not get to the desktop. I can open/close the DVD tray, and have cursor control, but nothing else seems to work.
Short of reinstallation of Snow Leopard, what are my alternatives. I did the Lion update online but do not have a system disk, hence reversion to Snow Leopard is my only option.

There are instutions for how to save your Lion ESD package and keep it for later reinstall.
Clone as backup strategy and use it regularly for your system and before any updates.
Of course you can redownload Lion and may need or want to at some point.
There is or shoud still be a Lion Recovery partition. Use it.
Carbon Copy Cloner can clone both the LR partition as well as all your other volumes
you tried a SAFE BOOT? that would be first step.
I'm waiting for ability to rollback updates and drivers but until then may as well leave as is / install SL on another drive / use Setup Assistant / And do a clean install of Lion also on another drive
In the meantime try to repair and recover files.
And do you have TimeMachine? you can use that from Lion Recovery.

Premiere Elements 7: track matte key video effect does not work?

I want to use the track matte key video effect to fade out some cropped video clips. So I did a test:
first track: video clip
second track: PNG file, black with white circle
third track: video clip with FX with second track (here: Video 5) and luminance
As you can see in the picture the small preview pic above the effects shows the effect like I expected: a circle with the content of the third, lowest, clip. But the large video preview shows the first clip.
What did I do wrong?
I tested other settings and track orders. No efforts.

But I can't help. The white area stays (see screenshot top left corner). Only some of the small blurred area around the shape shines through as I could see playing around without blurring the video clip.
I used:
title with white (it is 100% white) shape and blur effect above
video clip with track matte effect and matte alpha on the title track, reversed (blur effect on whole clip like in the tutorial)
Rendering and export does not change anything.
I'm feeling a bit stupid.

Does the amount of VRAM matter for AP3 when considering the graphics options in the new iMacs?

The graphics options go from 512MB to 2GB. The cards themselves (6750, etc) are very capable, but does the amount of VRAM matter? Will 512MB be sufficient for AP3 or should I go for the 2GB of graphics RAM? Why or why not? Thanks.

Well Aperture is one of the few programs in the world that will havely rely on the GPU. 512 MB should be suffiecient (*), but more will bring more speed to Aperture.
*: At least it is in my machine, though using brushes extensively will slow things down quite a bit.
