IBM has its own implementation of JSF in WSAD 5.1.2

Do they have any documentation on their JSF components?

    After ios 8 update I can no longer play music through my car. I have a 2012 Nissan Rogue - which has its own cable made to use with iPhone 4 - I use a apple adapter to converst to use with 5. Has been working fine up until update. Is there a fix for this? The car does not have usb

    Here I come to save the daaaaaaaaaay!!!
    Had the same issue with my Nissan Rogue 2011.
    This listed below will fix it...
    Go to General > Restrictions > CarPlay -- Make sure Carplay is DISABLED. (The new IOS 8 enables this on default)
    Go to General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
    The Nissan Rogue radio system was never designed to work with CarPlay. By default, CarPlay feature comes enabled when you install IOS 8. Suckz, right?
    You're very welcome! Have a great day!

    i have a iphone4s and an ipod 4th gen, they both share same itunes acc, the ipod has its own email but when people try to FT it also rings on my phone, how do i stop it ringing both devices

    That's because you're using the same Apple ID on both devices. On your phone: Settings>FaceTime>You Can Be Reached at>Remove your Apple ID.

    I have two Airport Expresses running at my house. Both are connected to different types of speakers. Neither speaker set has its own equalizer, and both require a different EQ setting to sound just right. Does anyone know of a way to have iTunes automatically change its EQ setting based on which Airport Express it is streaming to?

    I'm in the same boat. I have a 6 zone amplifier running with 6 airport expresses to different rooms inside and outside the house. Each has it's own acoustic characteristics. I'd really love to be able to set each airport to equalize based on my SPL frequency sweep I did for each room.
    Setting the eq in itunes won't do it as that is global plus I have many more sources for auiod other than itunes that use the AEs directly.

    I want to make a slideshow to use in muse where each slide has its own hyperlink to another page in the site.
    example here: Genesis Bicycles - Easton PA
    I see how slideshows can be made in muse, but haven't seen where you can assign a hyperlink to each image.
    I would like it to be html5 compatible.
    Thanks ,

  • How to make each catergory has its own RenderListItem ?

    Hello:
       Everyone!
       I am using XML Form Builder to creat a Blog,I creat three category which is called most recent blog, topic,bloggers.
       I preview the result iview,after I click every category,the RenderListItem is the same.However I need the RenderListItemevery of each category is different.
       How can I set?
       Thanks in advance!
       lexian

    Hi,
    I assume that in KM each category has its own folder.
    If so then, create XML Resource Renderer for each category  and then assign this
    XML Resource Renderer to a Layoutset and then assign this Layoutset to the Folder.
    In KM to set Layoutset for folder:
    Settings --> Presentation -->Select Profile

    1. Creating XML Resource Renderer for each category
    2. Creating Layoutsets for each XML Resource Renderer
    3. Assing Layoutset for each Folder/category.

  • Has anyone successfully implemented the JSF Viewer with Facelets?

    We have recently started integrating Crystal into one of our web apps that is using JSF + Facelets + Seam.
    I've built a taglib for the jsf viewer and configured it in web.xml and faces-config. I'm pulling an IReportSource from a backing bean using com.crystaldecisions.reports.sdk.ReportClientDocument  and that is using a .rpt file stored on a directory. This all seems to be working, as I can step through the code and see the IReportSource being generated.
    However, when the page loads, I am seeing the crystal javascript being converted in the page source, but nothing is loading on the page.
    Has anyone seen an issue similar to this tied to Facelets? I've seen numerous documentation on Crystal and JSP, but very little on JSF  or Facelets.
    Has anyone been able to get a setup like this or similar to work properly?
    I've also noticed an error when adding the viewer:
    java.io.IOException: Recover report client document state failed.
    at com.crystaldecisions.sdk.occa.report.application.ReportClientDocument.readExternal(SourceFile:1492)
    at com.crystaldecisions.sdk.occa.report.application.AdvancedReportSource.readExternal(SourceFile:131)
    at java.io.ObjectInputStream.readExternalData(ObjectInputStream.java:1792)
    I believe this to be related to me switching over to the serializable ReportClientDocument: com.crystaldecisions.sdk.occa.report.application.ReportClientDocument  versus using the nonserializable version.
    When using the non-serializable version, I am seeing a constructor issue with the JPEReportSource
    Exception: java.io.InvalidClassException: com.crystaldecisions.reports.reportengineinterface.JPEReportSource; no valid constructor
    Has anyone seen this issue before or able to offer any suggestions?

    Well, according to the tutorials I have seen on the internet, I believe CrystalReport was successfully implemented and tested with jsp, to have it working with Facelets, we need to do a little bit of work around. We need to make a new JSF custom component and assign it to an external renderer. then we can use it to view the report
    please follow these and it should work after then,
    1- bring the following jars into your libs
    commons-configuration-1.2.jar
    Concurrent.jar
    CrystalCommon.jar
    CrystalContentModels.jar
    CrystalDatabaseConnectors.jar
    CrystalFormulas.jar
    CrystalQueryEngine.jar
    CrystalReportEngine.jar
    CrystalReportingCommon.jar
    icu4j.jar
    jrcadapter.jar
    jrcerom.jar
    keycodeDecoder.jar
    MetafileRenderer.jar
    rasapp.jar
    rascore.jar
    rpoifs.jar
    serialization.jar
    URIUtil.jar
    webreporting.jar
    webreporting-jsf.jar
    xercesImpl.jar
    xml-apis.jar
    2- bring the folder "crystalreportviewers115" right under the "WebContent".
    3- implement the custom FacesComponent and make it extend the "UIReportPageViewer" as follows;
    import packagename.CustomReportRenderer;
    @FacesComponent ("packagename.newReportViewer")
    public class UIReportViewer extends com.crystaldecisions.report.web.jsf.UIReportPageViewer implements Serializable{
        public UIReportViewer () {
            this.setRendererType("packagename.CustomReportRenderer");
    4- implement the renderer and make it extend the "ViewerHtmlRenderer" as follows;
    @FacesRenderer(componentFamily="CrystalReports.DHTMLViewer", rendererType="packagename.CustomReportRenderer")
    public class CustomReportRenderer extends com.crystaldecisions.report.web.jsf.ViewerHtmlRenderer implements Serializable {
    5- make a new tag library xml file next to the web.xml so the application can find the tag configurations. name it "taglib.xml" and add the following inside it;
    <facelet-taglib xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee"
        xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
        xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee"
        version="2.0">
        <namespace>http://new-jsf-custom-components/</namespace>
        <tag>
            <tag-name>ReportViewer</tag-name>
            <component>
                <component-type>packagename.newReportViewer</component-type>
                <renderer-type>packagename.CustomReportRenderer</renderer-type>
            </component>
        </tag>
    </facelet-taglib>
    6- configure the web.xml with the following
      <context-param>
            <description>
            State saving method: 'client' or 'server' (=default). See JSF Specification 2.5.2</description>
            <param-name>javax.faces.STATE_SAVING_METHOD</param-name>
            <param-value>server</param-value>
        </context-param>
        <context-param>
              <param-name>javax.faces.FACELETS_LIBRARIES</param-name>
            <param-value>/WEB-INF/taglib.xml</param-value>
        </context-param>
        <context-param>
            <param-name>crystal_image_uri</param-name>
            <param-value>../../crystalreportviewers115</param-value>
        </context-param>
    7- implement the reportViewer.xhtml and make sure you have the following;
    - in the tag libraries add the namespace schema xmlns:crystalnmcps="http://new-jsf-custom-components/"
    - add the new reportViewer component
    <crystalnmcps:ReportViewer reportSource="#{youController.reportSource}"  displayToolbarLogo="false" parameterFields="#{youController.parameterFields}"  allowParameterPrompting="false" />
    Now run your app.
    I hope this helps. good luck

    Does tethering my iPad to my iPhone 4s use more data than using an iPad that has it's own data plan?

    No, it won't work.. the Airports are not media devices.. they have no brains .. no media extensions.. and itunes must be running on a computer.
    You can however watch movies from storage but not with itunes..
    See how people use tools like VLC to get around Apple's built in iTunes limitations.

  • I Own My Phone According to the FCC - AT&T Has Its Own Laws

    I was warned! I may have the opportunity to have my family travel internationally with me in August, so I went to the AT&T website and requested that their phones be unlocked so we can pickup some international nano sims while traveling. We had switched over to AT&T from Verizon in December because they offered a great discount for the company I work for. As I filled out each form and then validated them from the e-mail that was sent to me, I systematically received rejections to unlock the phones. I'm thinking to myself that the phones were discounted, but I did pay for them and according to the new law signed in February 2015 and the FCC I own the phones. If I wanted out of the contract they'd hit me with an early termination fee (ETF) which is what I agreed to, but why not unlock my phones?
    So I call the number on the rejection e-mail and was told by the rep that they no longer unlock phones till after the agreement period. I explain to him the situation above and he told me it was AT&T's policy and I could keep my existing plan, pay the ETF for each phone and they then could unlock the phones. I then asked asked after the 24 months would AT&T refund the ETF he said no.
    He suggested I speak to a supervisor. After about a 20 minute wait he said there was going to be an extended wait and could the supervisor call me back. I gave him my number and 3 hours later my phone has yet to ring.
    Now I get to pay full price for my iPhone 5s phones so I can get my phones get unlocked. The service has been great, but now I'm steaming. Then I go to watch TV and the banner now says DirecTV - Part of the AT&T Family. I know, I was warned.
    Has anyone logged a complaint with the FCC? Any suggestion?

    It won't help to complain to the FCC because their ruling allowed carriers to put in place rules like the two-year service contract must be completed first.
    "Q: When is my device eligible for unlocking?
    Your postpaid device is eligible to be unlocked by a participating provider after you have fulfilled the applicable service contract, completed the device installment plan or paid an early termination fee. Your prepaid device is eligible to be unlocked by a participating provider no later than one year after activation, consistent with reasonable time, payment, or usage requirements.
    Q: Can my mobile service provider refuse to unlock my phone because I owe them money or am currently under contract?
    Yes.  Providers do not have to unlock devices for customers or former customers that are not in good standing.  You should contact your mobile service provider to understand the terms and conditions of your agreement and your provider's unlocking policies."
    The quotes are from the FCC's website at: https://www.fcc.gov/device-unlocking-faq

  • Keynote 6.0 build order has its own window. WHY?!

    Does anyone agree with me that this is really insane?
    Why can't builds integrate in the new right-hand-side panel?
    Instead, they're forever going to be either in the way of something else, or I've got to make the window narrower and hang it off the side.
    Am I missing something? It seems INSANE!

    Well here's the workaround I used...
    Export Settings
    I set Go to next slide & next build after... both to 0 seconds.
    Slides
    I have no transition effects on the slides, but Start Transition Automatically, 0 s delay. (Not sure if it matters if you have no slide transition though.)
    In order to time my slides with the narration, I added a shape to each page. The shape has no border and no fill, so it's invisible. I set a build on that shape - just used appear & set the timing of that to be after the last real animation on the page, delayed by whatever time needed (by trial & error). So if my animation is a line of text and then the audio continues for 5 seconds after that, I set the delay for my invisible box to 5 or 6 seconds.
    Kinda kludgy, but it worked for me.

  • Why we need internal tables how it has its own significance for its purpose

    we can maintain tables in oracle also and some other features .but how internal tables differ from them in its functioning

    u2022 In ABAP/4, you work mainly with tables. Tables are the essential data structures in the R/3 System. Long-life data is stored in relational database tables.
    u2022 Besides database tables, you can create internal tables which exist only during the runtime of your program. ABAP/4 provides various operations for working with internal tables. You can, for example, search for, append, insert, or delete lines.
    u2022 The number of lines in an internal table is not fixed. Depending on requirements, the system increases the size of internal tables at runtime.
    u2022 You can use internal tables to perform table calculations on subsets of database tables. For example, you can read a certain part of a database table into an internal table (see Reading Data into an Internal Table).
    From the internal table, you can then calculate totals or generate a ranked list.
    In ABAP/4, you can distinguish between internal table data types, which define the structure of internal tables, and internal table data objects, which are the actual internal tables and can be filled with data. An internal table data type is an abstract definition of a data structure which can be used to declare data objects as internal tables.
    u2022 Another use for internal tables is reorganizing the contents of database tables according to the needs of your program. For example, you can read data relevant for creating a telephone list from one or several large customer tables into an internal table. During the runtime of your program, you can then access this list directly without having to perform a time-consuming database query for each call.
    Table type
    The table type determines how ABAP will access individual table entries. Internal tables can be divided into three types:
    Standard tables have an internal linear index. From a particular size upwards, the indexes of internal tables are administered as trees. In this case, the index administration overhead increases in logarithmic and not linear relation to the number of lines. The system can access records either by using the table index or the key. The response time for key access is proportional to the number of entries in the table. The key of a standard table is always non-unique. You cannot specify a unique key. This means that standard tables can always be filled very quickly, since the system does not have to check whether there are already existing entries.
    Sorted tables are always saved sorted by the key. They also have an internal index. The system can access records either by using the table index or the key. The response time for key access is logarithmically proportional to the number of table entries, since the system uses a binary search. The key of a sorted table can be either unique or non-unique. When you define the table, you must specify whether the key is to be UNIQUE or NON-UNIQUE. Standard tables and sorted tables are known generically as index tables.
    Hashed tables have no linear index. You can only access a hashed table using its key. The response time is independent of the number of table entries, and is constant, since the system access the table entries using a hash algorithm. The key of a hashed table must be unique. When you define the table, you must specify the key as UNIQUE.
    I hope it helps.
