IBooks book purchase not syncing to iPhone 5
I purchased a book on iBooks app from iPad 2. Read 500 Pgs so far an I went to read it from My iPhone 5 an it will not download or sync. I've redownloaded iBooks app several times an even rebooted phone nothing is working!

Alright, I think by iBook app what you really mean is the book itself, and not the application iBooks which is used to read the actual content.
Is that correct?

I downloaded IOS 5 on iphone 4 and ipad 1, set up icloud. Calendars, etc are syncing fine however the most recent book i purchased on my ipad (2 days ago) is not showing up on my iphone nor are the bookmarks on other books I am reading on my ipad. I have set up the bookmark & collection sync on my ipad and my iphone. Is there a setting on my MacBook Pro that I might be missing.

New purchases not syncing to iphone iTunes 11.0
I recently bought an album and I'd like to get that album on my iPhone 4S. For some reason, it refuses to sync it to the phone. When I browse through the music on my phone via iTunes, it shows the music in a playlist I created, but each song has a dotted circle next to the title. Any thoughts? I've restarted, rebooted, etc. This doesn't happen with other music.
I have the files on my computer, icloud should have nothing to do with it. I'm not sure what happened, but I saved it as a lower quality mp3 and now it syncs. I forgot to add that it was originally on my phone after I purchased it on my computer. Only after I upgraded to iTunes 11 did this problem occur. So, I don't know what happened... but I have a temporary, if not ideal, solution.

Address Book & Calendars not syncing to iPhone
here is yet another one.
I use the address book and iCal for contacts and calendering on my Mac and as the source for those services on my iPhone. Syncing has stopped after the last release of iTunes (8.1.1). I have tried all of the fixes suggested so far, like cleaning iSync cache, disabling and enabling syncing for contacts and calendars from within itunes with no success. There is no MobileMe services involved, and the host is a Mac.
The only solution that works is to select itunes>iPhone>info>advanced>replace info on this iphone.
Looks like there is a bug, or am I just missing something?Have you tried resetting the sync history on your Mac, which is done with iSync preferences with the iSync application located in your Applications folder?

Birthdays (from) Cal/Address Book) Subscription not Syncing to iPhone
Does anyone know how to solve this problem? The "Birthdays" subscription pops up in my iCal. It is checked. It is also checked in the Calendar preferences on the iPhone. I've tried unchecking it and rechecking it. I've tried re-syncing, quitting iCal--a lot of the obvious fixes.
Anyone know what's going on?I need the answer to this question also. I have never had a problem with this before, but after the latest update for iTunes and OS4 I noticed that my birthdays are no longer on my iPhones calendar. I have tried numerous things, but nothing works. Everything looks right. I have made no changes. I need my birthdays to sync with my iPhone calendar. Someone please help us.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Unless you have the contacts backed up somewhere, you won't be able to restore them.
You and your son should have your own iCloud accounts then you can keep your own contacts and calendars etc and avoid deleting each others. -
Since I'd installed the new version of iTunes, iCal and Address book do not sync with my iPhone 3GS through iTunes anymore and I get an error message stating that iTunes can not sync with this iPhone. Was must i do to correct this issue and if i must, how dI reintall iTunes without loosing my content?

Hey. I can not sync my iphone with my macbook air. It will not download my purchased music. Writes that there was an unknown error (-42408). Is there anyone who can help me.

If you resintall iTunes, it should fix the issue. The following document will go over how to remove iTunes fully and then reinstall. Depending on what version of Windows you're running you'll either follow the directions here:

Similar issue:
I purchased several complete albums from the iTunes store on my laptop. Everything syncs fine with my iPhone except for two tracks from two seperate albums. I get the same error for both tracks: "iTunes could not copy ..... to the iPhone because the file could not be converted."
From what I can tell both tracks are the same format as the other tracks on those albums - m4a (purchased AAC audio file) and wouldn't need converting (except that I have "convert higher bit rate songs to 128 kbps AAC" checked... but the other tracks convert just fine). Files play just fine on the laptop.
I checked that everything was purchased with the same user accounts. Not sure what to try next... any ideas?

Maybe the tracks are just so funny that the iPhone is cracking up too much to transfer them over. -

My device is a Treo 650. I can sync the address book, to do, and memos, but the date book will not sync. The HotSync program hangs. Using Palm Desktop by Access 6.2.2 with Win XP Pro SP 3. Oddly enough, this only happens on my home computer, with the sync working fine on my office computer. Any suggestions?

Issue with Calendar not syncing with iPhone 3g.
Solution
Create backup of your entire mailbox before starting (THIS IS IMPORTANT)
Create offline folder (.pst file) Check windows help on how to do this for your version.
Open folders view on Outlook
Right click on Calendar in tree view and 'copy to' offline .pst folder
Go back to main calendar view and delete all entries in your calendar.
Create simple cal entry and sync test with iphone
If this works then start dragging cal entries back from the offline folder into the main calendar then sync after each step....
I moved events in this order
-Yearly recurrences (ie Birthdays)
- Monthly recurrences
- weekly recurrences
- Daily recurrences
All appointments from the beginning of this year >> to the end of time!
If all these sync then the issue is with an older cal item and you have to decide if you actually need these in you current calendar.
I chose to leave these in the offline cal and if i need access them from there.
If at any point the sync fails then you know you have a corrupt cal entry in the block you just transferred. Move the offending items back into the offline folder and try again in smaller chunks until you identify the offending items and delete them and manually recreate them in your real calendar.
Also smart to run the inbox (.pst /.ost ) repair tools for your OS/Outlook version.

I can not sync my IPhone to My Imac. I have the latest version of ITunes on my Imac. I have tried reseting my phone (3), changing ports. Nothing works. I was thinking maybe my phone has the earlier version of ITunes but I can't update it.

I can not sync my iPhone after restoring it - my computer only gives me the restore (again and again and again) option. I have no music and only a few aps now on my iPhone. Any tips before I go to the genius bar?
If you restored as new, without using a backup, and still only get an option to restore, there is a hardware problem or the phone was previously hacked (jailbroken, downgraded iOS, unauthorized unlock). Your only option is to take it to Apple or whoever provides iPhone service in your country.
