IBooks no longer shows cover art

For some reason IBooks no longer shows the cover art for titles on te bookshelf
In fact some of them don't even give the title of the book.
It also takes a long time now to load.
Any help is appreciated.

I tried this and it appears to have worked. I made sure that I synced all the books in iTunes then using iTunes I unchecked the iBooks app for syncing and then re-synced with itunes. I then deleted the iBooks app in itunes. I then checked to make sure that there was not any iBooks app in the iTunes/apps folder using finder. I then downloaded the iBooks app for iPad and re-synced my iPad and all the proper covers should up properly.

Can no longer add cover art

Since the latest iTunes update, I don't seem to be able to add cover art (manually) anymore, which is something I need. When I do paste in or drag over, the display on iTunes (and affected tracks copied to my iPod) is a solid black square. In the 'Get Info' for particular tracks, it shows a white box outlined in black.
I had this problem I think once before some years back, and found useful advice that worked, but no luck this time.

Thanks rjlockett... I am looking to add my own Artwork for home movies manually. I did not see a way to do that with iFlicks. But the auto artwork works just fine. Thanks for posting. Also the other thing is I use video convertors already. Pavtube and Leawo which work really well for me. And my iTunes server is a 2 TB NAS by Buffalo so it is getting tough to manage these different libraries etc. Do you know if iFlicks can work on a remote server running iTunes server?

I can no longer print cover art.

Started about a month ago. I see from some forums that a lot of people began having that problem around the same time.
I just re-downloaded iTunes, but that didn't help.
Any suggestions?

I can't help with the scan/print problem. You seem to have done everything I would try.
I don't know if maybe using a registry cleaner would help.

Messed Up Cover Art

My Retina display iPad 32 gig's cover art is completely messed up. The wrong cover art is with most tracks, even my video files are showing cover art from iBook covers!
Any ideas on how to straighten this out - short of completely Restoring the entire iPad?

I updated to 1.0.2 and all my album cover art disappeared

i've tried several times now to reset it by telling it not to show cover art, syncing, then telling it to show it and syncing again. however, unlike in the past (with 1.0.1) it hasn't worked. I'd reset the whole thing, but it took me about a week to get my 90gb collection into my ipod with my beat up old laptop, and I can't be sure it'll make it through that again.

It is not supposed to swtich off when you close the cover. It is supposed to go to sleep. Check Settings>General>Lock/Unlock>On. If the iPad is already set up that way, try resetting the device and see if that fixes it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
You can also try resetting all settings. You will not lose any data, but most of the device settings will have to be entered in the settings app again. Settings>General>Reset>Reset all Settings.

No Movie Cover Art?

Hello all,
My iTunes Extras enabled movies do not show any cover art on the iPad - or - inside of the iTunes movies area of the iPad device page.
All other movies (non iTunes extras) are showing up in these areas normally.
these movies DO SHOW cover art in coverflow and grid views or iTunes...

I have similar issues after the named firmware update. After closing the IX2 media player and/of restarting the IX2 server all content is available on the differtent clients (TV, NOXON wifo radio, android devic). This keeks working for approx. 15minutes - than the info is gone!. The media server is still available but there is no data also the TWONKEY page gives an empty result.
Shares are still visible and via them I can access the media files and confirm that they are still there. But I cannot play it via the differnt clients.
Options tried
- starting and stopping the IX2
- Starting and stopping the client.
- Changing theIP adress of the IX-2
- Fixing the IP-adress.
- Giving the change time.
- Starting and stopping the media server.
Please advice.

Apple TV and iTunes -- Cover art via AirPlay is incorrect.

iTunes and second gen Apply TV software is up to date. I now find that album cover art is not displaying correctly on Apple TV, when music played from iTunes via AirPlay
He cover art seems to be off set by one album (from the playlist). First song displays correctly, second song, still shows cover art from first song, third song shows cover art from second song, and so on.
Since the cover art used to display correctly, I assume that this is a bug in AirPlay. Then again, you know what happens when you assume.
Anyone else have the same problem and been able to correct this issue?

I am also experiencing this issue. If I stop and then re-start the song, the art corrects itself, but that should not be necessary. I would love a fix for this before the holiday when I play a lot of music.

Why doesn't my podcast cover art show in store but appears in iTunes library after I subscribe?

Great, that explains it. We had moved the image to a new URL and actually updated the original feed that we input into Feedburner with that URL ... but we also had Feedburner Smartcast turned on which creates its own iTunes tags and overrides any that may already be in the feed, and the image URL in Smartcast there was the old one.
In any case, we not only updated Feedcast Smartcast with the correct image URL, but we also put a copy of the image at the old URL so that even the URL presently used by iTunes should work.
Any idea how long it takes for the store to update the cover art? Anything we can do to expedite it?

Cover art on purchased video not showing up on ipad

I have a first generation (yes, I know, sort of quill and parchment but, hey, it works just fine) Ipad, bought a movie from the Itunes store and the cover art didn't transfer. It shows up fine at the store, on my itunes account, and there is no other obvious explanation for this. I downloaded it a second time, same result. The movie plays just fine. Suggestions?

Remote app: using thumbs from iBooks documents for cover art??

In iTunes on my Mac, I have a playlists where I've dragged in my favourite radio stations. If I connect to it with Apple's Remote.app and play any of them, though, it is using as cover art the covers of PDFs I have in the iBooks.app!
Seems minor, but it seems one app is breaching the sandbox of another, even if they're both Apple apps...
Anyone else experiencing this issue?

I have the same issue. Somehow I had previously fixed it but it has recurred. Deleting and re-installing app does not fix the problem nor does re-setting the iPhone.

ITunes 10.5.1 multible cover art not showing

How Can i display different covers I stored with a song?
In earlier versions of iTunes in the little artwork viewer in the bottom left corner of the iTunes window there were left and right arrows on the top in case you added more than one picture to the cover art of a song. These arrows allowed you to toggle between the covers you stored.
In iTunes 10.5.1 clicking in the top of that little artwork viewer toggles between the view of the actual title or the chosen object.
Anyone any idea how to toggle between the different pictures stored in iTunes 10.5.1 within one song?

I made exactly the same experience by draging and dropping artwork into the artwork window. Sometimes even showing a black window for the artwork. In some cases it helped to restart iTunes. Nevertheless it's confusing. I guess it's some kind of bug and the developers should keep an eye on it.
Another reason might be, that there are problems with synchronizing songs with multiple artwork to the music player ot the iPhone or the iPad. In my iPhone 4S I couldn't find a way to display multiple artwork of one song.
Let's hope for the next update ;-)

After the IOS7 updates, when we are viewing music videos on my phones I can no longer turn the phone horizontal to see a bigger viewing of the video. I can only see it widescreen in vertical mode which is much smaller. Now when you turn it sideways, it pops up album cover art and I hate that. Is there a way to fix that?

We are just users like you and don't know why Apple does what it does. This is not a place to "vent," it is a place to ask technical questions. When I download a movie from iTunes the cover art disappears. I try get info and add the art, it doesn't show up. So it's just gray. It opens and plays fine. Apple can't figure it out. It's an nas drive. When I use a firewire drive I get the art

When I download movies from iTunes to my NAS drive, I don't get the cover art. It shows up while its downloading, but when it's finish it disappears. If it has an iTunes extra the cover art is there. I tried get info and add the cover art, it never shows. Regardless of how I add it. Funny thing is, if I download the same movie to my external firewire drive, no problem its there. I've called Apple with no success. I've even tried copying the movie with the art from the firewire drive to replace the file on then NAS drive I still loose the movie cover art. I also tried several times to re download it, no luck. Any ideas? I'm out of ideas.

Do you have any videos/movies in the video app?
In iTunes if you right click on the video and select Get Info and go to the Option tap what Media Type is shown?

I can no longer see my mp3 cover art in finder

Last week I updated OS to 10.8.2, then later that week I did a disk check and permissions verify and repair, after that none of the mp3 tap images show up in finder, I do allot sound post work, and it help to be able to see the cover art once an mp3 file has been tagged. I spent 1.5 hours at the apple store yesterday, we checked and the tag images were visable on another computers through shared folder, so we tried deleting plists, but it definitly system wide and not on a user lever setting. I also did a re-install, ( were I did notice the downloader is extremely slow, I have very fast internet 50mps and lets just say it was moving at dial up speed.)
Any suggestions?

You may have moved or removed content on your page or its possible you used the"Adjust Image" and over sharpeed one or more images.
I assume you mean it does not show up of new Chapter pages... have you checked the template?
Where you see the ? you need to either reduce teh box outline size - or drop anther copy of the original image onto it, it may fill the ? box or sit on top.... delete the ? box.
If its Chapter page only related, its better doing this in the template.
Is you image .jpg or .png?
