IBooks, using iPad version 6.1.3
One of my students did... something?!! When I click on my iBooks app, the bookshelf appears for a second (sometimes), then the whole screen goes white. No bookshelf, no books. I have the books backed up on my computer, but when I try to sync, it acts as though there is nothing to sync... it goes through a few quick steps then finishes like the books and app are there. It seems like this happened to me before but I don't remember how I fixed it. Thanks for any and all help.
Sorry, I should have tried my 'trusty trick' first... I powered off the iPad, then turned it back on and the bookshelf with books is back.

I have never used this--on my ipad it says I have an account with icloud and that I can syn all my devices but there is no app for icloud on my ipad.
I have never used my ipod myself--that is to put material on it. A friend did it and I registered with Apple and I did have itunes and a list of my stuff on my old pc but it is gone. i have an ipad 2 with ios 6 and i want to download ibooks using the itunes on my laptop .but the ibooks is compatible with ios 7 or later.i need ibooks urgently and how do i download the compatible version in my windows laptop.
Download the iBooks app to iTunes on your computer. Once it's downloaded, go to the Purchased section in the App Store on the iPad, select iBooks and you should be prompted to download a compatible version.

Using iBooks on iPad Syncing Problem
Using iBooks on iPad I added several books directly while not connected to iTunes. When syncing later, the books do not appear in iTunes (Windows) but seem to stay in iBooks on the iPad. Why don't they show in the Books folder? Why aren't they added to the Books in iTunes? How do I get them there? All software is at the current versions.
It may be your computer is not yet authorised. Check by going in iTunes to Store > Authorise this computer. If that's not the case, simply try going to File > Transfer Purchases
That should get any purchased content off the iPad onto the computer

ipad - how to push Exchange calendar events to iCloud account? MobileIron is used to get Exchange data -- is there an app to push the ipad version of the events to iCloud?
There are two separate calendars on ipad (ios 7.1) one for icloud, one fo exchange. I have tried a couple of calendar apps and while they do a good job of showing the events in the app - they don't push (synch) back to iCloud. Any thoughts on an app that will take my ipad calendars and synch them to a single icloud calendar/account?

I have an ipad, version 5.1.1 and ibooks no longer works, i have followed advice re restarting etc but no joy. is there a way i can send the contents somewhere and retieve them especially pdf's? i have synced with itunes and they are not accessible with my laptop. any advice would be gratefully recieved.
The latest version of iBooks in the App Store will not work with iOS 5.1.1.
However, you can download a compatible version of iBooks onto your iPad as shown here:

Using Safari on those websites ''(not enough total users for websites to be concerned about)'', or installing a new version of MacOSX are two solutions; or getting a new computer. -
Im using Itunes version 10.6.3 to try to restore my Ipad. Check for updates tells me this is the most recent verion, but its also telling my I cant restore my Ipad because its doesnt have the software available yet.

My IPad is currently using IOS version 7.0.3. I am trying to download 7.0.4 and am unable to do so. The screen says "downloading", but nothing is happeniing. It also continues to say "Estimating time remaining........" and never changes. I would like to delete and start over or whatever, but am unable to do so.Any suggestions?
Unfortunately I tried that and it didn't work. Thanks for the help though. I tried to uninstall and it said I couldn't because the file is corrupt or something, but I think I finally got it uninstalled and/or deleted or whatever, but now I try to reinstall/download it again from the beginning and I can't. No matter what I do I can not get Firefox working again. No matter how many times I try to redownload it. Any other suggestions?

I`m `propping` up this thread to to the top of the forums again as it`s been three months and not a single community member or Apple support personnel have replied, which I find discouraging.
I`ve tried everything - both the iOS device(s) and Apple TV have been upgraded (albeit reluctantly) to the latest versions, since iOS 7 looks like crap compared to iOS 6. Both use the same WiFi network. Bluetooth is set to `off`, as per the online tutorials on the Apple Support page.
I also tried shutting all of them down, including the router, waiting 30 seconds and turning the router, then the Apple TV then the iOS device on sequentially with 30 seconds in between each, again as per this discussion forum, and still nothing.
Why can Apple not make a technology, such as AirPlay, work with greater than 10%?
Any other ideas?

I have an IBook PPC G4 with version 10.4.11. I am using Safari version 4.1.3. I haven't had any problems until the last few weeks. Safari unexpectedly quits on me at least 4 or 5 times a day. Does anyone know of a solution to my problem?

I just started using the Pages app on my iPad2. Two questions: 1. Do I have to buy the Pages iPhone app separately or will the iPad version sync to my iPhone 3GS? 2. Am I able to sync Pages docs created on my iPad2 for viewing/editing on my iPhone 3GS?
You can use the File Sharing feature at the bottom of the iTunes Apps pane when you connect to iTunes. Transfer the documents to your computer, and from there to your iPhone.
