Ibot report delivered with Request Cancelled.

Hi,
I have created an ibot as an administrator and scheduled it to a group and to Intractive Dashboard. This Ibot has a page with 10 reports. One report takes more than 5 minutes to run. When i schedule this ibot only to Dashboard Alerts, i dont see any issue. When i schedule it through mail, i am receiving the ibot with the error message for the report which takes more than 5 minutes. Is there any time out set on SMTP server to reject requests running for more than 5 minutes.

RPTARQDBVIEW where in when we execute no output exists.

So it means that you need to check back with the application. If its coming from the MIS than check back what's happening in the file that is given in the error.

Hi,
Can be a permissions issue.
Try giving the ASPNET account full control on Temp folder :
    . Right-click the folder and select 'Properties'.
    . Go to the 'Security' tab and click the 'Add' button.
    . Select the 'ASPNET'. Click 'ADD'. Click 'OK'.
    . Check 'Full Control' from 'Permissions for 'ASPNET'.

I have been going through various Threads Posted in the Forum.
In One of your Replies to a Question Posted "Re: Deletion indicator of sales order" the Solution given is "Execute TCode AUT10."
When I had tried with the Transaction Code AUT10 on the SAP System, No Data is populated on the Screen. Any settings to be done on the System.
You can suggest a possible solution to the Issue posted by me.

I have issue in the replicatuion of the orders and Invoice generation in R/3 system.
u2022CRM orders in R/3 with rejected (cancelled) lines fail on billing.
u2022CRM orders in R/3 have the value of the rejected lines included in the order header.
u2022CRM orders in R/3 have the rejected/cancelled lines included in internal BW Traffic and Revenue Reports.
u2022CRM orders that have been saved but only contain rejected/cancelled items can be confirmed and passed to R/3.

Report failing with error

Hi All,
Application R12.1.3 with Shared Application Tier 2 nodes
Database : 11g R 11.2.0.2 with RAC 2 nodes with ASM
We have a concurrent program which gets fired when submitted thru API . For each order program is run once . If there are more orders it will run n number of times . At this time one request is failing with error
REP-0004:
REP-0069:
REP-57054:
But for the same failed request when we run separately(with same parameters) it is completing Normal . There is no other error in Manager Logs.
please help what can be the issue.

Report Row With Detail (IFRAME) - How to reload Main Page within iFrame

Hi,
Based on Carl's example - Report Row With Detail (IFRAME), i.e:

Within my scenario, I have a button within the iframe section of my report that calls a pl/sql process that performs some database processing.
What I basically need is a means of performing a page refresh of the main page, when this button within the iframe is pressed. In Carl's example, that would be page 17.
As mentioned, I call a PL/SQL process within the iframe, but unsure how to then refresh the main page - parent page.
Any help would be appreciated.

you could insert the following script to the region footer of a region located on your "iframe"-page.

</script>
But this is dangerous because everytime the parent is being reloaded, the iframe is loaded, too. Risk of loop...
A possible solution is to conditionally display a html region (with the script) on your iframe-page basing on a request. You could post the request as a result after your plsql processing in a branch.

Request Cancelled Error

Hi All,
On the Dashboard for one of the report i clicked the cancel link while the report was running .After that it was shown the message like *"Request Cancelled".*Now i re-ran the report to see the results by clicking the refresh link below the "Request Cancelled" message.But still it was showing the that message only not the results.
Could anyone please suggest what needs to do to see the results on the dashboard after cancel the running request on Dashboard?

You need to clear the cache. Go to Settings>Administration>Manage Sessions and find the query that you cancelled. Click on Close. Now you can run the query again.

XML Publisher report failing with java.lang.outofmemoryerror.

We have developed a custom Oracle report that produces an XML output file that is about 13M in size (about 18K rows from the database). When running report as concurrent request, post processing fails with java.lang.outofmemoryerror. The failure occurs when specifying output format as Excel, RTF or HTML. However, the process completes successfully when specifying output format as PDF. We have also noticed that Excel, RTF and HTML will complete successfully if the XML data file is smaller (around 3M).
Is anyone aware of a restriction on the size of the XML data file when specifying output formats Excel, RTF or HTML? We have tried setting temp directory but that has not helped.

Solution: To implement the solution, please execute the following steps:
1. Login select the responsibility: System Administrator.
2. Navigate to Concurrent > Program > Define.
3. Query for concurrent program that is receiving the error.
4. In the 'Options' field please enter -Xmx512M.
5. Save the change and retest the issue.
6. If the report still fails with the option set to -Xmx512M change the value to -Xmx1024M, save and try again
7. Migrate the solution as appropriate to other environments.

How to schedule webi report in bulk (multiple report in one request)

I am little bit new to BOXI. I have little bit work experience in Crystal X on scheduling which was used in one of our enterprise java application. We are exploring options in BOXI.
Currently i am scheduling a report with following api
infoStore.schedule (webiDocs);
This will schedule one report instance.
My question is
Is there any way to schedule multiple instances of a same report in one request.
Is there any way to schedule multiple instances of a different report in one request.
If above things are possible please provide the apis for the same.

Scheduling multiple Webi reports in one command:
infoStore.schedule takes 1 arhgument of type IInfoObjects which is a collection of InfoObject. IInfoObjects is retrieved by the query. So if you to retrieve all the Webi Docs you want to schedule , then with infoStore.schedule(WebiDocs), it will schedule them all in 1 shot. Scheduling Info properties for each Webi Docs should also be set. Please refer to the samples on scheduling at link below.

Scheduling one Webi Doc multiple times in one command:
I donu2019t think it can be done in one command. Do you want to schedule the object multiple times each time running it with different prompts? Or do you want it to be sent to different destination in each schedule? Otherwise you can schedule it once and then access the scheduled instance multiple times.

I think just for deleting the jobs you can do this only
Scheduling Delete Jobs
To schedule delete jobs, proceed as follows:
       1.      In the Integration Engine -
> Administration menu, choose Schedule Delete Jobs.
       2.      Select the job(s) to be scheduled.
       3.      Specify the start time and date.
       4.      Specify the period you want to use and choose Schedule.
For an overview of all jobs, choose Jobs.

BPC 7.5NW Report Issues When Requesting Year To Date Data

Dynamic reports built with 2 row expansions (Cost Ctr, Account) up to 3 columns (not expansions, set to different categories with excel formulas for variance calculations...Act vs. Bud for example) result in error messages (error retrieving data and another related error messge) when requesting YTD data vs. Periodic data. The report runs fast and properly with Periodic measure. When running with the YTD measure, attempts to reduce the report data volume by removing comparative categories and removing formatting (after ranges) still results in YTD data retrieve errors.
Has anyone else had similar issues with BPC 7.5NW, SP9, and YTD data not pulling into reports? What are the common causes for issues with YTD data retrieval? Given the design by SAP of the BPC NW product and promotion of using BPC for both Periodic and YTD data, should I expect this report to work properly, meaning that I can get output with YTD data without long runtimes or errors that result in terminating the report? Thank you.
