IBots - "cc" and "bcc" recipients configuration

Hi,
I need to change the "cc" and "bcc" recepients configuration from an existing application. My understanding is that the setting from delivers applies only to "to" reciepients and I don't see any option for "cc" and "bcc".
I haven't seen neither any option like this in the administration tool.
Do you know how to change these setting?
Thanks in advance!
Adrian

Ok, I'll try that, thanks!
Is it possible to configure two different users, one for "to" and another ond for "bcc" at the same time?
Thanks again :)
Adrian

  • Mail "Reply All" and Bcc recipients

If I reply to an email and use "Reply All", will the Bcc recipients from the original author of the email be included in my reply?
I'm concerned that some people who I am not aware of may unintentionally receive my reply.
    Thanks for any help.

    Help please!!!
I am a new AppleMail user with a directory that along with individual email addresses, also has a 30 basketball players list in one group.
I tried to send out a blast to everyone asking if they are playing tomorrow? Everyone replies TO ALL with an "in" if they are playing, or "out" if they can not. That way everyone counts the amount of 'in's to see if we are playing or not.
They all got the email fine,  but responded to me via email that there was no "reply to all" on my email blast.
    That is a big problem.
I sent it from my directory, but it is like the system thinks that rather than having sent it to a group of thirty guys, it sent it to thirty persons individually. Perhaps it would not allow a 'reply to all' becuse of that.
    I then tried something different.
As an experiment, I created a four person email group, dragged the group list icon to the address box for sending out emails, it accepted it, and I hit send.
    It went.
My email was one of the four.
I got it, and it showed a 'reply to all' (which worked as I replied to all and I got the reply) but the other three did not get it.
So that clearly is not the answer.
By the way, I have a MacBook Pro using Mac OSX verson 10.5.8 with a 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processing chip.
Memory 4gb 1067 MHz DDR3 if any of that means anything to you all.
    Help!!!!
    Any Apple Geniuses out there?

  • Searching in Mail AND Spotlight does not reveal BCC recipients

    Dear Folks:
Searching in Mail does not reveal BCC recipients. I found a post pointing this out from 2006. There were no replies and you cannot reply if you try, it been "archived."
Does that mean Mail simply does not search BCC's?
What's really weird is Spotlight won't find them either.
Am I doing something wrong or is there a gap in the app?
    Thanks!

Yeah and even worse, Spotlight does not store Cc mail adresses, too.
when you do an mdls on an emlx file there is only a recipients kmditem. the cc and bcc email adresses are not stored/indexes by spotlight. and can't be searched for!

    Hello all,
Could you please confirm if there are auto alert mechanisms for ATG scheduled job failure and BCC project failure?

    Hi,
You need to write custom code to get alerts if an ATG Scheduler fails.

  • How do I NOT send attachments to CC and BC recipients

I used to be able to do it in Entourage. I want to forward and email with attachments, but not have the attachments go to CC and BC recipients. Looked everywhere in preferences. I'm stuck. Is this possible?

    Mail doesn't support that.
According to the RFCs that cover e-mail, the Cc and Bcc are simply headers that control the copy and deliver of the message. They should all receive the same body of the message. The behavior of Entourage was dependent on a feature of MS exchange that subverted the normal rules for how e-mail is transferred and would strip the attachments if requested to do so. Standard mail client software wouldn't do this.

  • Removing attachments to CC or BCC recipients

We are making the switch from Entourage to Apple Mail at my company. One feature I was totally unaware of until yesterday in Entourage is the ability to NOT include attachments to the CC or BCC recipients. I am assuming that the program must actually duplicate the email and send out two separate emails in the background or something along those lines. There are a number of employees who depend on this feature, and I was wondering if anyone knows of a plug-in or workaround out there that might duplicate this feature in Apple Mail? I know it is a long shot, but I thought I would ask...

I have configured CISCO 2901 call router with T.37 OnRamp and OffRamp fax configuration.

I could able to receive fax from call router,

Because while sending fax we are using outsideno@callrouterip address ( ex:  [email protected])
My Novell GroupWise giving error like unable to find e-mail address in mail box ( Error : can not deilver message to internal loop address )
Reason : Mail box not able to find address because of every time if you use No like  this [email protected] . Mail box not able to recognize and unable to forward to call router,
I try to use windows FAX service to send fax to VOIP ( call router ), that does not work.
Is there any tool or client setup we would able to use and deliver mail to call router to send fax.
Until or else their is no use for using T.37 OnRamp and OffRamp fax configuration in call router
    Thanks

  • How to see bcc recipients in sent mail, AppleMail 5.3?

Cannot locate the list of hidden recipients under "sent" mail in Applemail 5.3. When I go to "View," and go to "message," there is no option that will call up the list of "bcc" recipients. How can I check a recipient list if one that I used when sending an email remains hidden?

Wish I could be king. But you described the problem perfectly and I am still but a pawn. All I can say is that I trashed the mail preferences (com.apple.mail.plist) on my Mac Mini, and now my MacBook seems to work right.
Sorry. :>) But that is the truth... The MacBook now has actually sometimes displayed pasted text in its actual, different, font and style as I paste it into a partially composed new mail message.
In other (more rational) words, the problem seems to be tied to pasting only certain types of text. I have not been able yet to pinpoint what. Yes, frustrating indeed. The only work-around has been to re-train my fingers to command-option-shift V, for "paste and match style" (like you, I do not want to always use only plain text). Maybe someone else will eventually weigh in with a real solution. The solution I want is just to be able to consistently see any font variations within my message before I send the email.
The info about the different ppi scales between Windows and Mac is interesting, although not relevant to this particular problem. It does explain the apparent overall size differences I have seen before.

  • How to send Email with Cc and Bcc using MailPackage

    Hi ,
we are using Mail Package to send the Email using Mail Adapter. We have a requirement where we need to send Email with Cc and Bcc using Mail Package .
Can we send Cc and Bcc using Mail Package ?
    Thanks
    Rajesh .

    HI Rajesh,
There is a standard structure for Receiver Mail adopter which we can get from SAP market Place but it is not provided with CC if u want to use CC then you have to go with Dynamic Configuration.
    DynamicConfiguration configuration = (DynamicConfiguration) container.getTransformationParameters().getStreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION);
    /*any other required fields*/
    DynamicConfigurationKey key = DynamicConfigurationKey.create("http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/Mail", "THeaderCC");
    configuration.put(key, "ccemail @ test.com");

    Consider using UTL_MAIL package:
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/appdev.102/b14258/u_mail.htm
(Note: it's not installed and configured by default, but the scripts are supplied with the Oracle database, see documentation for instructions)

  • How can i add Cc address and Bcc address in  demo.mail package

    hi everybody,
In our company's reporting purpose we are using the demo_mail package associated with the UTL_SMTP package. This procedure is working fine. But my problem is i want to add Cc and Bcc option in the mail.Hi anybody know how to add these option in thr demo_mail package. Thanks in advance for your replay
    regards,

    Hi ,
I think that there is not such a convinience....However , using the UTL_MAIL built-in pl/sql package and specifically the SEND procedure you can....
The general format of this is as follows:
    UTL_MAIL.SEND (
sender      IN    VARCHAR2 CHARACTER SET ANY_CS,
recipients  IN    VARCHAR2 CHARACTER SET ANY_CS,
cc          IN    VARCHAR2 CHARACTER SET ANY_CS DEFAULT NULL,
bcc         IN    VARCHAR2 CHARACTER SET ANY_CS DEFAULT NULL,
subject     IN    VARCHAR2 CHARACTER SET ANY_CS DEFAULT NULL,
message     IN    VARCHAR2 CHARACTER SET ANY_CS,
       mime_type   IN    VARCHAR2 DEFAULT 'text/plain; charset=us-ascii',
priority    IN    PLS_INTEGER DEFAULT NULL);Also note the dbms version..... I'm not sure if this is applicable to versions below of 10g!!!

  • MTA and bcc field

Hi, I've a doubt about how any MTA see the messages with a lot of bcc. If you send an email with 20 emails to differents domains in bcc fields, all the destinations MTA can see all directions in bcc field? or the MTA only see the directions in bcc who goes to his own domain?.
    Thank you in advance.
    Samuel

The sending MTA will only send recipients destinating to MX gateway of that domain.
For example, mail client sends a email from [email protected], to [email protected], and bcc [email protected] and [email protected]
From sending MTA of a.com to MX gateway of b.com
    MAIL FROM: [email protected]
    RCPT TO: [email protected]
    RCPT TO: [email protected]
    DATA
    From: [email protected]
    To: [email protected]
    Content
From sending MTA of a.com to MX gateway of c.com
    MAIL FROM: [email protected]
    RCPT TO: [email protected]
    DATA
    From: [email protected]
    To:  [email protected]
    Content
