IC CS4 is showing a lot of excess changes

Hi Everyone,
I've got an issue with IC CS4 and I'm not sure where to look so hopefully someone can shed some light, now I'm a novice with IC so bear with me. Here's what one of my user is experiencing.
One of our article keeps showing up in incopy with a lot of excess changes that look to be left over from the art department doing its work. The pea green is a user that is unknown. It shows up as someone having pasted in text and deleting old text (the old text is from the previous newsroom). All these copying and deleting changes make it very hard to edit the story and see where the real changes are happening. I've including a screen shot so you can see what I'm talking about.
This doesn't happen on other pages so I don't see why it's happening on these. It did happen this time on one article. So if we could figure out what the commonality between those two (newsroom and Minority Report) are, it might help to solve the problem.
I suggested trashing the template and starting from scratch, but I don't know if that will fix the problem.

HT4796 It is ok to transfer files, documents but not a lot of good if they cannot be read. When I select a document to read it all my MAC does is show a lot of numbers.

I have just bought a Mac Pro 13 inch lap top. I used migration assistant to transfer from my windows 7 PC to my new Mac all my pictures and documents. Although all the information transferred I cannot read some of the documents. When I click on them my Mac just shows a lot of numbers. I am concerned that by downloading this programme that I would then have two operating systems that would slow my computer down which was one of the reasons I changed to MAC because my lap top was so slow.

You need Mac compatible programs to read your documents and money program information.
What type of documents are you having trouble with?
Reference Parallels - how much RAM do you have installed? Go to the  menu/About this Mac.

I have seen this issue a lot of time.

In my application's popup menu list, anyone of the menu item from the menu list name is showing blank after make some changes.When I select blank field that functinality is working.
Can anybody tell the reason of this issue?

when you opened the shared library with the newer version of iPhoto (iPhoto '11) you were given a warning that your library would be converted and could not be used by older versions - you clicked ok to go ahead - there is no updo available - either upgrade to iphoto '11 of the MBP or load your backup of the iPhoto '09 library on it - older versiopns of i{Photo can not read newer libraries

Recurring inspection lot status "created" changed automatically to "Release" without change history

Dear Experts,
I observed that for few materials recurring inspection lot (inspection lot origin 09) status from "CRTD CHCR SPRQ" to "REL CALC SPRQ PRSI" changed automatically without manual interruption.
I have thoroughly checked the change documents in status management, but the there is change history found.
can anyone help me understand the root cause of the issue?

Note : System status CRTD because there is no Insp.plan master data for particular material
Check & create Inspection plan for material & also check the Material master QM view Insp.set up tab.
Suppose if already created Insp.plan for material,then you need to assign Insp.plan manually in QA32 select the insp.lot line & click change Insp.lot icon in Header ,click spec.& save
Then system status change from CRTD to REL.

Make sure you are viewing your image at 100%. At smaller views, pixels and layers and the way they interact are approximate interpolations and won't show you the actual pixel-for-pixel changes.

After Upgrade to os 10.6.8 from 10.5.8 Prints from CS4 and 5.5 Photoshop show blue tint outside the printing area, not so when printing from CS2. I could not beleive this was still an issue. Is there any known solution to this long ongoing and well known dispute between apple and adobe?

Dreamweaver CS4 keeps showing a licensing error 150:30. Any ideas?

I am running Dreamweaver CS4 on a MacBook Pro. After a Mac OSX update earlier today Dreamweaver keeps showing a licensing error 150:30 and the only solution on line is not suitable for OS 10.9.5. Any ideas?

The terminal app option worked but after a restart I got the error message again. It worked a second time but then another restart brought me back to the beginnin. Have repaired permissions and tried the other potential solutions. I only use DW CS4 once in a while but I'd love a permanent solution.

Sounds like a lot of junk in your iTunes library. Also a certain amount of space is taken by the iOS software. Simply make sure when you sync your iPad you chose to manually select what you want on it in iTunes. This way you only put on it what you want.

HELP DREAMWEAVER CS4 NOT SHOWING SWF FILES

I have a presentation in 2 days in Tokyo. And I'm panicking.
I'm on am Intel Mac OS X 10.4.11.
I have the latest version of Flash Player 10 installed. (Not the brand new beta version).
I created a great website in Dreamweaver MX a few years ago.
I never had ANY issues with .swf files displaying until using Dreamweaver CS4.
I updated my photography portfolios in Adobe Bridge, and used Dreamweaver CS4 to link the updates.
NOTHING MORE THAN THAT!
Then, NONE of the .swf files that were always viewable are showing.
There is absolutely NO Flash content showing on any page of the site now.
Not even in browser view in Safari, or Firefox.
I uploaded the files along with the newly created SCRIPTS folder to my server, and still no .swf files are viewable.
These are NOT FLV files they are .swf files that were imbedded properly, and were always viewable. Until now.
I have to go to Tokyo in two days and give a presentation of this site.
What is the problem?
The attached files show the view in Dreamweaver CS4. The view in Safari, and the view in Firefox.
I'm screwed for a desperately needed job in Tokyo if I can't get this fixed ASAP.
Please help.

where is this code located? in the source code of each page that has the swf files? i should replace it with the correct version you copy and pasted? and that should resolve the problem?

Contribute CS4 only shows browser Window?

Hi All,
I have a bizzare issue that I can't seem to find anyone else having.My Contribute CS4 is only showing the browser window. This means I get no File, Edit, that sort of thing. It is super frustrating because is severly limits what I can do.It also means I can't resize the window, much less move it. It is basically set in size and location (the center of my screen). I have deleted the preferences folder and registry entry to foce them to be rebuilt, but it didn't help at all.
I'm sure this is something simple, but I have tried every key combination I can think of, none seem to be working. I've attached a screen shot so you can see what I'm talking about.
Just as an FYI, I'm running Windows 7.

Yes the menu bar within Internet Explorer is showing. It is frustrating because I literally cannot do anything other than hit ALT+F4 to close the application or click on things showing within the area in the screen shot.

Will Illustrator CS4 panels show panel name with icon?

Is it possible to have Illustrator panels, when collapsed, still show the panel name? InDesign CS4 panels (for me) show the icon and panel name when the panel is collapsed. Illustrator CS4 only displays the icon when the panel is collapsed. I am unable to find a preference setting (or help document) for Illustrator to create a similar behavior.

Yikes. Figured it out. Move the panels away from their default state in the upper right corner of your desktop. Move cursor to right edge of panel, and cursor will change. Now you can 'expand' the collapsed panel by dragging to show the name alongside the icon.

Contribute CS4 not showing up during install

I'm trying to install Contribute CS4 on a PC running Windows 7.
I've had it up and running using the same installer previously, so I know that it works (I also tried downloading the files again but the same issue returned).
What's happening is, that the installer runs fine but only shows me the option of installing various smaller adobe programs - not Contribute.
I've tried uninstalling and running the cleaner tool but the issue is still there.
What can I do? I need the software for maintaining a website.

and activate with your serial number.
if you have a problem downloading, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.
the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).
failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com

CS4 - not showing sharp pictures

When have selected a number of pictures in Bridge and showing them i fullscreen (ctrl-l). Bridge is not showing them shap - more as a jpeg in low res.
If I do a zoom on the picture then wait for a few seconds, it gets as expected but when zoom out it's like a low res for a few seconds again.
I know for sure that it's not loading from the harddrive as it idle and a SSD drive.
My question is if this is a setting that I have not found yet or something else causing this "issue"?
BTW I'm shooting in RAW and converting to DNG when importing pictures.

if the solutions above fail
then the most obvious reason is 'open gl'
bridge runs in 'open gl' if it is enable in photoshop.
so goto photoshop disabled it in settings and try again. restart 'bridge and ps'
sadly opengl is a complete pain, no matter how many graphics cards i've used since open gl was introduced
along with both cuts of cS4 & 5 this blurring has always occured.
and it is so annoying and you would think easy to fix.
adobe love to sale this open gl feature with there relationship with nvidia
shame it doesn't work 100%. we want it to look razor sharp at all zoom levels not certain levels.
if you read deep into the adobe specs archive (not easy to find) it does state somewhere that blurred images will occur at certain zoom levels.
utter useless to us the customer so your better off turning it off..
you could try updating video drivers, but i doubt that'll fix it, i've tried countless versions and it never has...
turning off 'open gl' will disable a few usefull features, like the spin in PS, but it a loss worth taking rather than blurred images.
