Setting up IC Web Client in CRM 5.0 SP06

Hi Experts:
I am trying to set up IC Web Client on our CRM server. The CRM consultants have already set this up in SE80. However, after calling the transaction CRM_IC, i enter the user name and password, but 60 seconds after that I get the time out error with the following message:
Detail: Connection to partner timed out after 60s
I beleive that this is happening because the following parameter hasn't been set up in the instance profile:
icm/server_port_0 = PROT=HTTP, PORT 1080, TIMEOUT=30, PROCTIMEOUT=600
However, I am not sure on the Port number, should it be 1080 or 80<Sys No.>
Please let me know what I should do here

Arright:
I had to add one parameter for the instance profile and modify another in the instance profile. Please see OSS note 824554
ADDED: Parameter Name: icm/host_name_full
MODIFIED: icm/server_port_0 (SEE OSS Note for details)
icm/server_port_0 = PROT=HTTP, PORT 1080, TIMEOUT=30, PROCTIMEOUT=600
WE also noticed that the initial load of each item took a lot of time. ~20 minutes.
Please be advised that this is development environment.
Once the initial objects were loaded..it works good.

Re: Reason Of Rejection field in the Sales Order screen in IC Web client

Hi guys
WE have implemented CRM 6.0 & ECC 6.0
Our call center guys login to IC Webclient to place Standard Orders in the CRM system which replicates to ECC.
Now as most of us know that the Order cannot be rejected once a Delivery Document is created for it. The field becomes Inactive.
Now as per our requirement, we want to enhance this functionality & allow the user to Reject the Order till the Delivery is not Shipped. To make this happen the Reason Of Rejection Field needs to be active even after Delivery is created.
We have made changes to the ECC system & the CRM backend system to allow this functionality.
I was assuming that keeping the field active in CRM backend would automatically keep it active on the IC web client.
However this is not the case.
Can anyone guide me in the right direction. I know that the IC webclient is based out of JAVA.
If someone could tell me if there is any customization that can make this happen or if some part of the code associated to the IC webclient needs to be enhanced to make this happen ?

I got thru the view & also went into the attributes.
In that I see different codes for this field.
Get_Rejection
Set_Rejection
Get_M_Rejection
Get_V_Rejection
Get_I_Rejection
Get_P_Rejection
So now my question is whether the deactivation part needs to be coded in one of these or will I have to create one of such codes to achieve my functionality ?

Android Web Client Capability?

Any chance of getting access to Lookout and/or citadel data through an Android phone (web client, app, or other)?

Here is how we have done it before.
The lookout process is set as seperate client & server processes. Create a virtual machine (or another system) running Remote Desktop, Lookout Client and the client process. Setup your users in remote desktop and lookout.
Go to android market place and get PocketCloud (free would work to test). Connect to the virtual machine with Remote Desktop and view the client process.
Keeps clients from directly conencting on the production machine, for Pro versions you bypass the 1 session limit for desktop, user management is simplified (lookout).

Not able to access the Oracle I/PM web client.

I have started the Administration server and the Oracle I/PM Managed Server. Now I'm trying to access the Oracle I/PM web client at this URL: http://hostname:16000/imaging. But when I hit this URL, the following error comes up:
Error 404--Not Found
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.4.5 404 Not Found
The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.
If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.

Hi Srinath,
I have checked that as well, it is showing the IPM_server in running mode.
Also it doesn't show any deployment failure in the command line. Here is what it shows:

Long time to start Java Web Client (Analyzer 6.2.1)??

Does anyone know why Analyzer(6.2.1) takes a long time to start Java Web Client. Sometime it's even take more than 5 minutes. I think it is the Java Plug-in starting on the client computer. Any solution?

The key to Analyzer 6.2.1 running correctly is the version of Sun Java Plugin. The ideal version (most optimal) is 1.3.0_02.Secondary to this if Analyzer performs OK once you are logged in then it could be down to the speed of your connection. The applet compiles at runtime (unlike Analyzer 5 which was a one time download). don't know what you mean by ADF Faces rich web client, but if you mean our Ajax component set, then this is not yet available outside of Oracle. If you mean ADF Faces as we have it in JDeveloper 10.1.3, create a JSF page and step through the creation process, toggle the ADF Faces libraries to make ADF Faces available

Spaces disappear from folder name when opened thrugh Web Client

Hi,
I am opening a pdf or word document through method EXECUTE of class CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES.
Now if there are more than one space in the path (ex. D:tes t.pdf ) then file gets opened sucessfully if I log in through WIN client in SAP.
But if i log in through SAP WEB client ,then only one space is retained in the URL and rest of the spaces are removed by method and I get a message "Path D:\tes t.pdf" not found.
Any suggestions welcome?

Delete localstore.rdf or rename the file to localstore.rdf.sav in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder] to test if the file is corrupted.

(caution: do not delete the localstore.rdf file in the Firefox program installation folder)
Note:
Deleting the file [http://kb.mozillazine.org/localstore.rdf localstore.rdf] will reset the customizations of the toolbars to the defaults.
You can rename "localstore.rdf" to "localstore.rdf.sav" to test if that solves it.
Then you can restore the customization by copying "localstore.rdf.sav" to "localstore.rdf" if it didn't work.

A Web application + API for non web clients

Hi there,
I am new to the java enterprise world, i have a query regarding the application i am developing currently, I am not sure this is the exact category to ask this question but please help me on this.
In very simple terms my applications job is to give a listing or view of files distributed across network.
For this I need to have a webApp which can provide a view to all web clients. (where view is nothing but listing of files independent of there location)
Because this view tells nothing more than files , and i am as data center administrator cannot tell much about data, so we need to provide APIs so other applications (WebAPP or anything else)
can present the view in more data specific terms.
The webapp part is fine with me, but how do i support API being on an application server like glassfish.
Please help me on this.

Web client and desktop client not available for Interactive reporting 11.1.2.2

Hi team,
Currnetly we are usning EPM 11.1.2.2 , we are trying to install and configure
Interactive reporting in Linux 64 bit system.
we are few questions jotted below:
Interactive reporting studio client & Interactive reporting Dashboard Development Studio client are disabled.
post installation we are not able to see IR Client folder in <EPM HOME> location.
while launching workspace we are not able to see the WEB Client Interactive reporting under TOOLS-->INSTALL.
we read in a blog, which states it Interactive reporting needs a license. whether it needs any special License for using it?
we downloaded the Entire Dump of EPMS 11.1.2.2 from Oracle Edelivery website.
Kindly let us know we are missing any where?
we are strucked at this point.

If you want the 11.1.2.0 assemblies you will need to contact Oracle as they have been removed from edelivery.

Unable to use the OCWST or Web Client to connect to the calendar Server

While trying to log into the calendar using the web client i am getting the error :
An error occurred during processinig
Information: Cannot retrieve node information
While connecting using the OCWST i am getting the error; I am using WSAD to do the coding. and i have coppied the soap.jar given by apache.

Drill Through in Analyzer 5.0.3 Web Client

I have an EIS created Essbase cube with drill through reports. I can access the reports using the Excel add-in and via the Analyzer Windows client and they work as expected. In the Analyzer Web client, I see the LRO indicator, but when I click on the cell I get "Cell ___ cannot be drilled on". Does the Web client support drill through, and is there additional configuration necessary to make it work?Thanks,Jim Burnham

Capture SY-UCOMM from IC Web Client in SAP R/3

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement in which i am Changing Requested Delivery Date in CRM IC Web Client, when i save the Sales Order in CRM IC Web Client , Based on date the Corresponding Field in VBAK-KVGR2 has to be Updated.
When the Order is created through IC Web Client , the User Exit USEREXIT_CHECK_VBAK is triggered and i have put a condition SY-TCODE is initial and T180-TRTYP = 'V' and then Checking SY-UCOMM = SICH currently the SY-UCOMM is getting cleared and because of this i am not able to change the VBAK-KVGR2 field.
Is there any other way to capture the SAVE button Command from IC Web Client in USEREXIT_CHECK_VBAK .

Error while creating Business Agreement from IC web Client

Dear Experts,
I am working on IC Web Client ( CRM 7.0) & ISU (ECC 6).
I was able to create the Business Agreement & sucessfully replicate the same to ISU as a COntract Account.
But when I Try to create the Business Agreement from ICWebClient I am gwtting following Error.
"No Business Agreement Class for Channel ICW, Usage 01 and Risk Class"
I have done the settings for ,Allocate Business Agreement Class as ;
Channel :- ICW ,
Usage :-Std Payment Data,
Risk CLass :- B,
Business Agreement CLass:- 01
But still I am Getting this error.
Can any one please help me in this
