IC WebClient - Setting Startpage in Workspace

Hello everbody,
how can I set the startpage in workspace area (i.e. transaction index or knowledge search)
in IC WebClient? (SAP CRM 4.0 SP 12)
Thanks a lot.
Regards
Dirk

Hi Dirk,
I'm in a 4.0 version also. We have SP07 with service industries add-on.
Can you check the entry below 'Define IC WebClient Profiles'?
If not, try another way to check by editing vision CRMV_IC_INIT in SM30 t-code.
Kind regards,
Garcia

  • Setting up meeting workspace persistance.

How would I set a meeting workspace for a recurring calendar event to be persistant?
Currently, I have a recurring event set up for Fridays at 5:30pm.  I set up a meeting workspace for that meeting however each date is seperate, the tasks, agenda, documents, etc do not carry over.  Many of the topics discussed in our meetings are long term goals and it would be a huge waste of time to re-type the items for every meeting.  Can I set up a future meetings to be persistant without affecting previous meetings?
    Thank you!

Ok, so many months later - but I'm new to sharepoint and having the same 'problem'. I want to be able to set up different types of meetings eg Staff Mtgs and Planning mtgs and lets say, Other meetings and then within these keep a list and library of Agendas,
minutes, discussions for EACH meeting that takes place. Something like
    Staff Mtgs
      July
          Agenda
          Minutes
     August
          Agenda
          Minutes etc
    Planning Meetings
         070710
            Agenda
            Minutes
         210710 etc
    Can I do this?

  • Error when trying to set up a workspace in APEX 4

One of our develoeprs is trying to setup a workspace in our APEX 4.0 environment (Oracle EE 10.2.0.4) and it getting the following error: Schema is reserved or restricted. The existing schema name he is trying to use is: REA I have looked and do not see REA as a reserved word to Oracle, nor do I see REA in the WWV_FLOW_RESTRICTED_SCHEMAS table.
Is there something new in APEX 4.0 that would not allow a schema name of REA?
    Thanks

    That's strange.
You could try to create an exception as a workaround. Though I'm not sure whis will actually help, it's worth a try
    EXEC APEX_040000.APEX_SITE_ADMIN_PRIVS.CREATE_EXCEPTION(p_schema => 'REA', p_workspace=> '<your_workspace_name>');
    COMMIT;-Udo
    P.S.:
What does the privilege report return?

  • Problems setting up a workspace using Repo assistant

Hi, I have a new database install of Oracle Enterprise Edition 11gR2 on Windows. I am trying to set up a remote workspace on this database (i.e., I have a standalone OWB install on my local workstation from which I am trying to set up a repo on the remote database install) and have stumbled across an error which reads:
OWB software with the compatible version must be installed locally on the database server machine. If it is already installed, please acquire the DBA user credentials, and run the SQL script owb/uUnifiedRepos/remote_owb_install.sql. on the database server machine. This creates a database directory named 'OWB_REMOVE_ADMIN' that the remote installation will access to read the database servers OWBHOME/owb/bin/admin directory. Relaunch the repository Assistant or execute OWB scripting command OMBSEED top seed the repository.
    So far, I have:
    1) Installed the standalone client of Oracle Warehouse Builder on my new database machine.
    2) Ran the instructions set out by Oracle documentation at: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11882_01/owb.112/e17130/setup_linux.htm
(these instructions are for linux install however, but I am assuming they also could apply for Windows install as well)
    3) Followed the instructions for the error message: Ran the scripts and rlaunched Repo Assistant.
I still get the same error. I am now stuck without many ideas left for how to troubleshoot this one.
The version of OWB I am using is 11.2.0.2

Check around the forum, you are one of very very many. It doesn't matter what WD say, do you see a Certified by Apple notice on it?

  • Set-up the workspace

how can I decide to work on sheet of w:98484 h:23657 px??  in the previous version were possible to customize the workspace in mm, px,inch and cm. With InDesign 6 or CC apparently is not possible....
Can someone tell me if I getting wrong??

The maximum width and height dimensions are 216" so your 98484 x 23657 pixel dimension is too large. ID measures a pixel as 1/72", which would make your width 1367.8".
By default the dimensions for a New Document when the Intent is web are pixels. If you want to enter pixels when the intent is Print just add px after the number (i.e., 1800px will get converted to 25")

  • How to set permissions for workspace  inboxes

    Hi,
since the OCS creates an e-mail address for every workspace, it would be nice to share the inbox. Sharing (via Outlook) as such is no problem but there is a difference between the web front end and outlook. while in the web front end users with the role of an administrator can delete mails, the same users in outlook can't.
Looking at the properties in outlook shows that those users only have "reading" permissions. Changing this settings in outlook is not possible since the tab is disabled.
Does anybody has a hint where to configure those permissions?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Ritesh,
Thanks for the post and I hope your well today.
You can programmatically change the Read Only and Hidden Status of a file
in labview using the DOS prompt from LabVIEW - called
    System.Execvi.
Here are some links regarding the DOS commands you can use,
    http://www.ss64.com/nt/subinacl.html
    http://www.ss64.com/nt/cacls.html
So I beleive you could find a DOS command which could alter the editting properties of the name..
Another way to prevent the user altering the file would be to change
the user permission's in windows.. but it could affected the code and
most IT departments would not allow this.
    Hope this helps,

  • Fix (set in concrete) Bridge Workspace

How do I set a Bridge Workspace so that future alterations don't get saved by default?
    Thanks,
    Drew

If I select that named workspace, I get the changes regardless of whether I saved them.
You have to reset the workspace again using the triangle menu or right mouse click on workspace name itself.
I'm still trying to find out what I prefer but can't figure it out yet. there is a large number of people wanting to have the last use workspace being sticky for that particular workspace. Sometimes this suites me, sometimes not.
But the reset is something I got used to.

  • How do I export the workspace I set up in CS6 32 bit to the 64 bit version?

I've grown to accept that workspaces can't be simply exported from a previous version of AI and imported into the next one. So I painstakingly set up my workspace in the 32 bit version of Illustrator CS6, all the panels laid up over 2 screens in the way I use them most eficiently to suit my personal workflow, thinking that the 64 bit version would also have the same workspace available once I start it. Silly me! Why should I have thought things could be so straightforward? Well OK, they don't share workspaces - so how do I export my workspace that I saved in the 32 bit AI to the 64 bit version? That must be do-able surely - if we need to switch versions obviously we want to maintain consistency. But I just can't figure out how. Please help.

You need to copy your workspace file manually from the 32 bit version into the 64 bit version.
This is the mac  CS5 location (I am at work), and the PC location should be similar. Or do a search of your drive for the workspace name.
You will need to restart for this to take effect. Wou will also probably have to export 32 bit actions, and load them in your 64 bit version along with changing popular setting like paste remembers layers.

  • How to create a group that is visible in workspace

I would like to assign a task to group "Test".  However, I get an "invalid principal exception" when I do so through the assign task process.
My group "Test" is set up with "workspace user".
I have added "user 1" to the group.  User1 has the "workspace user" role.
When I log into workspace with User 1, the group "Test" is not visible on the left pane.  I think this is my issue, but not sure how to solve.

  • 2 monitor workspace windows not working

    iMac Yosemite 10.10.2
    2 displays
Mission Control "Displays have separate Spaces" OFF
InDesign CC 2014 (up to date)
    PROBLEM:
    I keep my Palettes/Windows on 2nd monitor
Have custom Workspace (as I've had for years)
After recent InDesign, and Yosemite updates
Launched ID and the Swatches palette jumped to my main screen
Put it back where it belonged
When I go to access some functions (i.e., Color Swatch, Character Style...) I get a "Bonk" and nothing happens.
If I draw a rectangle, I can add a stroke, change thickness, but not color.
If I move the Palette/Window to the main display, everything works fine.
Tried setting up new workspace, used Adobe preset workspaces, same problem.
    Anyone else???

I will keep tabs on both of them, but who should we be looking to for the fix, Apple or Adobe?

  • SharePoint Workspace 2010 still installed after upgrade to Office 2013

I'm working on a deployment of Office 2013 in a corporate environment.  Using the OCT, I've customized a package which is working well on machines that don't have previous version of Office installed.  However, many of the existing machines currently
have Office 2010.  After executing the Office 2013 package, we're noticing that while the upgrade works, SharePoint Workspace 2010 and the Office 2010 Tools still exist in the Start -> Programs menu.  I also see Office 2010 in Add/Remove programs
(along with the new Office 2013).  The OCT is specifically set to uninstall previous editions of Office during the upgrade (which is the default behavior).
I'll seen a couple of other posts like this on the forum, but unfortunately no answers.  How can I *completely* uninstall Office 2010 (including SharePoint Workspace 2010 and the Office 2010 tools) during the upgrade to Office 2013?  This
corporation doesn't need SharePoint Workspace 2010; my guess is that it was included by default with the Office 2010 package that they rolled out in the past.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
By default, the uninstall option in Office Customization Tool (OCT) will not remove SharePoint Workspace 2010 as SharePoint Workspace is no longer include in Office 2013.
Try to create a separate Office 2010 .msp file, set Microsoft SharePoint Workspace and Office Tools to "Not Available" and deploy it
prior to the installation of Office 2013.
Or you can do an Uninstall upgrade. Basically, use the /uninstall [ProductID] command-line option to uninstall Office 2010 from the user's computer first and then after that is finished, install Office 2013.
Here is a great example of how to perform an uninstall-upgrade for enterprise deployments :
http://blogs.technet.com/b/odsupport/archive/2011/04/06/how-to-perform-an-uninstall-upgrade-to-office-2010.aspx (Note, the steps are wrriten for Office 2010, but it holds good for Office 2013.)

  • [xmonad] uniquely addressing each ppVisible workspace

    Hi everyone.
I'm having some troubles getting a certain piece of my xmonad configuration working. My Haskell skills are not up to par just yet; therefore reading documentation does not necessarily translate to the capability of solving the problem at hand.
I want to be able to set up exactly what the OP from this thread way back in 2010 wanted - to have different colours indicating the physical location of each visible workspace on a three monitor set-up.
At the moment, my xmonad.hs file as the following lines:
    ppCurrent = dzenColor fg_red background . pad
    , ppVisible = dzenColor fg_blue background . pad
which obviously highlight my active workspace red and two visible (but inactive) workspaces blue. I'd prefer if I could set each visible workspace a different colour (say one green, one blue) to indicate what physical monitor each resides on, so I don't end up addressing the wrong one when not paying attention.
The solution in the above thread doesn't solve the issue, but instead uses getSortByXineramaRule to force the current and visible workspaces to the left, such that a configuration like this could occur [4 1 8] 2 3 5 6 7 9. I don't particularly like this solution because I prefer to name my workspaces (mail web shell etc.), and swapping them in this fashion will render associations to the mod+1..9 sequence difficult.
I've therefore dug a little deeper into the issue, but as I said, my understanding of Haskell is lacking.
The DynamicLog hook is where ppVisible resides, the docs say its constuctor needs to know a Workspaceid:
    ppVisible :: WorkspaceId -> String
To me this says ppVisible is called more than once on a three monitor system, which means I should be able to throw different colours at each call. Am I right about this assumption?
From the docs, StackSet "Xinerama in X11 lets us view multiple virtual workspaces simultaneously ... [therefore tracking] which virtual workspaces are associated (viewed) on which physical screens [is required, and StackSet] keeps separate lists of visible but non-focused workspaces." Which tells me xmonad keeps track of this location information and I should be able to address it in a round about way even if it's not through ppVisible?
Have any of you managed to set this up before? Or if you have better Haskell/xmonad experience than I; can you see a way I can colour each visible workspace separately?

    Hi everyone...
I have some problems with - I think - conky. (My window manager is xmonad. The conky output is piped to dzen2. xmonad 0.7.1, dzen svn, conky svn (conky 1 repo))
I'll try to explain my problem with screenshots with conky running stand alone...
Everything works fine as long as I see the conky desktop output: screenshot 1
When I move my terminal above the conky desktop output, or when I just use one or more tiled (not floated) terminal(/other windows, e.g. firefox), conky doesn't update anymore: screenshot 2
Now, when I change to another desktop on which you can see the conky desktop output again (or when I resize a floated window), conky updates again (look at the seconds)... screenshot 3
EDIT: #conky (freenode): "i guess your window manager prevents conky from accessing the root window, so it locks up somewhere"
    Here are my config files:
    ~/.xinitrc
    ~/.conkytoprc
    ~/.conkybottomrc
I hope anyone can help me... I hope that dzen-conky-statusbar will soon print me updated times and songtitles. =(

  • Change the Workspace Language

    Hello,
I would like to know if there is any way to change the workspace language other than the language setting done during Installation.
    Thanks !

Try changing the language preference order in your browser, also look at the supported locales and default locale setting in the workspace server settings which can be accessed through workspace.
    Cheers

  • Libraries and Workspaces

I'm trying to organize my InDesign CS4 libraries into workspaces (Eg. I use libraries 1-5 for 'Project Type A' and libraries 6-17 for 'Project Type B').
What I'm trying to do is set up one workspace for each project type - I've got panel location and menu customization checked for each workspace but it's not working.
Are libraries excluded from workspace setups? Is there another way to achieve this?
Thanks for all of your help in advance!
    Marcus.

That was one of the first things I tried, alas ...
The libraries are behaving as if they're completely separate from any type of workspace. If I close a library in one, they're closed in all of them, and visa versa if I open one.

  • Unable to administrate over Warehouse Builder workspace

When using oracle repository assistant (version 11.2) to alter authorized users or to drop an existing workspace, we are unable to continue successfully beyond step 4 of 5 where we identify the worksapce owner/admin user name and password. We have attempted to create several workspaces to make sure it was not a password authentication problem but we have identified that we are using the same exact password set when the workspace was first created using the same repository assistant application.
Error Message when trying to continue from step 4 of 5:
INS0009: Unable to connect to the database using user <username>. java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01017 invalid username/password;logon denied

I figured this one out by using an administrator account and directly altering the user password for the database user in question (the workspace owner); something about setting the password through the wizard caused problems for me, but bypassing the wizard did the trick.
