IC winclient search profile

Dear all,
Iam trying to substitute function module CCMCS_BP_SUBCREATE2 with CCMCS_BP_POPULATE2 in the search profile for ICWINCLIENT. but it gives me a dump saying that parameter 'Searchtype' is missing for it. Has anyone come across this problem before?

After you have created the new IC web profiles, you have to assign them to the corresponding hierarchy nodes of the CRM organizational model: Either to an appropriate organizational unit, a position or directly to a user.
If you assign an IC WebClient profile to an organizational unit, it is also valid for all subordinated objects (like positions and users).
Use transaction code PPOMW to assign the IC web profile in the CRM org model.
In the organizational structure select the appropriate position. Double-click on this position in the Task assignment area.
From the menu bar choose Goto/Detail object/Enhanced object description.
On tab Active highlight the infotype IC WebClient Profile.
Choose Create infotype (F5) ans put in your IC wen profile then save.

Hi Experts,
I am trying to enhance and configure the Search function (which can be triggered in Talent Management or Candidate Selection Search) in E-Recruiting 6.0
Can anyone tell me the difference in config/purpose between the config:IMG->SAP E-Recruiting->Recruitment->Talent Warehouse->Candidate->Candidate Search, Search Profile and Search Template?
I read the online help and it only describe about Search Template and not Search Profile. I also check the standard system and it only displays what is configured for Search Template and NOT Search Profile.
Is the Search Profile still in use and what is the purpose if I have already configured the Search Template?

Hello Bill,
unfortunately the information that an internal candidate has left (or will leave - in this case the is_inactive flag will be set at the leave date via a periodical service processing table t77rcf_p_stat) can be easily seen on the databese but not in the e-recruiter applications.
I am not really sure if the employee id should disappear in candidacy table or not (customers see this different according to their attitute to rehiring people) but in general sap did not implement alot of functionalities to differ between internal and external candidates. Ok there is something for correspondence but it is not even possible to have different questionaires in the application wizard for external iand internal applicants.
In my opinion I'd assume that an employee applying on an internal position and leaving in the process is a 1 of 1000 case, as long as the process does not take eternities so I personally would not invest much effort into it. You cannot handle every special case in a system (or at leat noone pays for it) and from my experience in companies up to perhaps 2k employees, everyone in HR knows who leaves.
If you really have a strong business need in this issue, e.g. positions are published internally and once someone leaves has imedeately taken of the position you could use the the e-recruiting BAdI which is available in the BAdI implementation delivered by SAP to handle the candidate creation and stuff. You could add functionality into it that it tracks if there is a leave and the candidate has open applications and send the recruiter of the requisition an email. Other solution might be a periodical service or any other background job which checks this and destributes the information so the recruiter can take the necessary actions.

How to find the .htm resource pages for search profiles?

Good Day All,
I am trying to customize the search page (search profiles) within UCM, i want to do that by use the appropriate .htm resource page within a custom component.
I found the checkin .htm pages and i can make changes on them and the changes are reflected on the UCM.
anyone can help me and providing me with pages name, or tell me how to thier names.

I have the following case:
assume that i have a field on ucm named "xDepartment", and its type on ucm is Int (integer) . This filed is configured to Table-View option list, and the view have two columns (key, value). also assume that i have the following data in this view:
1: CIS
2: MIS
3: BIS
4: Enginering
5: Accounting
on search profiles, when i select a profile that have this field, the possible values that can be searched are integer and will appear From - To ; since this field is defined as integer. But the user that will search don't know the mapped value for each key, because on checkin form the values appears on the secreen.
what i want to ask is:
can we specifiy the possible search values to be the values not keys of this view. can the search values appears like what values appearch in checkin page

E-Recruiting : Creation of Search Profile for custom infotypes

Dear experts,
Can anyone let me know if you have created search profiles for custom infotypes in eRecruiting?
The requirement is for the TREX to be able to search for Candidates based on the fields which are defined in this custom infotype. This infotype (9999) is completely custom defined mapped to object NA.
In the IMG,
I don't have to change the search profile type
I created a new Z Information category.
Here, i have to specify an extraction class for this Z Information Category.
Can anyone please tell me what this should be? Can i give it as "CL_HRRCF_CEC_INFOTYPE" ?
Also, can anyone please mention the significance of the table "T77RCF_SPT_INFTY " and how we should be handling the entries here for our custom infotype ? Should we create a custom class to specify here? How should we do this ?
Any inputs & thoughts regarding this will be invaluable.
Needless to say, i created the Z information category with the class CL_HRRCF_CEC_INFOTYPE but when i run the report RCF_RECREATE_SEARCH_PROFILE,It is giving me a lot errors.

To answer your question, Yes, automatic generation of NA for newly hired/created PERNR (P) is because of the integration you have activated between PA and eRecruit via BADI implementations. Look at OSS note 997181 for details on how integration works.
If you dont need integration between PA and eRecruit on PA40 then you may have to tweak the BADI's.

E-Recruiting: Problems with search profile and serach templates

Hi Recruiting-Experts,
I´m facing problems with "Search Profiles" and "Search Templates"
(Customizing SPRO --> SAP-E-Recruiting --> Recruitment --> Talent Warehouse --> Candidate --> Candidate Search )
Out customers wants me to add a new search criterion to the talent search. It's a customer-field (type 'd' --> Date) belonging to infotype 5106.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work. The hit list is always empty.
What I did:
Customizing (see above)
Updated search profile (report RCF_RECREATE_SEARCH_PROFILES)
The result:
I can see and choose the new search criterion on talent warehouse search site (recruiters startpage)
I can find the data (internal format yyyymmdd) via transaction SKPR07 (see XML below, ZZEARLIEST_ENTRY 20090901)
By the way, the hit list is also empty when adding and searching for birthdate.
Has it got to do with the date stored in internal format?

Job Search profile

While attempting to fill out the "Skills Marketplace" profile on the 3rd page you encounter a "First" and "Second" choice of where you would like the job to be located. Since I indicated that I was willing to relocate and the default for "State" was "NO PREFERENCE", I left it in that setting. I did not want to specify a city or a state, but the profiler will not allow me to do that. Is this a "feature" or was the "NO PREFERENCE" option not really an option.
Also, when attempting to search under "Oracle Technology Network > Collaboration > My Forums", I constantly got an "ESI" error. I was attempting to locate information on the problem I was having with my effort to fill in the "Skills Marketplace" profile.
Any help or answers would be appreciated!

Hello Sameer,
this error message usually results from calling bsp application hrrcf_start_int or hrrcf_start_ext without supplying the RcfSp_Id parameter. So you probably have a wrong link which you are calling.
Check the links again using report RCF_GENERATE_URLS.

Future Check -In date and not displaying images via IPM search profile

Hi All,
We have configured Oracle IPM and UCM to work together and UCM as the repository and we are using ODC to index data to IPM.
We are not able to see some of the documents from the IPM search field. (only some of the documents)
When we log in to the UCM repository manager we can see future check in date and 'Done' or 'GenWWW' as the Revision status field and 'New' as the Indexer status field.
Is there any way to force to push to 'Release' state or can we change the Check-in date and time?
since we are now in the stage of parallel run, it is urgent to sort this issue immediately........
Because users are not able to see there documents and continue there works......

Those are not releasing as you said. the indexer would not release the content until the said time is reached
Sometimes those are releasing without meeting it's release date.
This ODC date field going to map to a date field in IPM is it? Is it just a date field which is get populated with current date?
Once i checkin a document, it has released as normal.

Use of additional fields win IC Winclient BP Search

Hi
Im trying to use the HOUSE_NUM2 field in structure CCMSEARCH_STRUCT to search for a BP in the IC Win Client (CIC0) in CRM.
I can get the HTML page to pass the field back to CCMSEARCH_STRUCT, but after several dynamic function calls the program ends up calling FM BAPI_BUPA_SEARCH which does not have the field HOUSE_NUM2 as an input parameter.
Is it possible to configure the search to call an FM that uses that field as well? (without repairing the SAP code)
I have followed these steps:
1) Copied O_ISU_BPFINDER_BUTTON to ZO_ISU_BPFINDER_BUTTON, changed the HTML and re-imported it.
The changes were to remove some fields (ie IBASE components) and add the new input field HOUSE_NUM2.
Here is the relevant HTML tag:

3) I have created a new search profile in transaction CRMC_CIC_SEARCH_RULE with the following setttings:
     HTML for BP Search = ZO_ISU_BPFINDER_BUTTON
     Under priorities: CCMADDRESSFIELDS     CCMCS_ADDR_SEARCH_CONTROL     1
     (This is the only relevant entry from what I can tell in Debug mode)
Everything else works, and I can see the relevant data being passed to SAP, but by the time the actual search takes place in BAPI_BUPA_SEARCH HOUSE_NUM2 is not available as a search parameter.
I have searched these forums and come across a couple of threads that seems to imply that it should just work if I follow these steps, but I can only assume that I am using an incorrect search Function Module

What is the transaction to look at this query? I have not seen any evidence that the program accesses this query, but it is worth having a look I guess.
The sequence of Function calls are:
CCMCS_BP_SEARCH_RULES
CCMCS_BP_SEARCH_CONTROL
CCMCS_BP_ADDR_SEARCH2
CCMCS_BP_SEARCH2
(Up to this point it uses structure CCMADDRESSFIELDS, and has accesss to HOUSE_NUM2)
Then it calls BAPI_BUPA_MAIN
It might be that I will have to repair CCMCS_BP_SEARCH2 in the end, but I'd like to be sure that it is my only option, as I do not want to change SAP standard code unnecessarily.

Cic winclient : Extra search field is populating with BP number

Hi guys
I enhanced the IC WINCLIENT search criteria with Extra field ( BP External number) in the BP extended search area i.e application area by adding the HTML code and I Modified all the relevant function modules, when I am searching with BP External number it was working fine, <b>except in the result screen Extended field ( BP External number) is filling with BP Number not with the BP External number .</b>
is it required to make any changes in the html code
I did the below HTML code

If you are talking about the custom search help, please follow the following steps to add a custom search criteria for CIC0.
        1. Run transaction SPRO.
        2. Click on SAP Reference IMG tab on application tool bar.
        3. Select Customer Relationship Management node.
        4. Select Interaction Center Winclient node.
        5. Select Component Configuration node.
        6. Select Visible Components node.
        7. Select Navigation Area node.
        8. Select Define search Profile IMG activity.
        9. Select the relevant Profile, and click on node view search application
             within the locator.
       10. Save the settings.
       11. Back to main tree.
       12. Select define search in locator IMG activity.
       13. Click on Search id node.
       14. Add the search id, text, function module, program name and screen in
             the table.

Try this
Please do as suggested below .
IMG -> CRM -> IC Winclient -> Visible components -> Search Strategies -> Define profile for search strategies
Here select your search profile -> Click on Search attributes ->
Double click on NORM -> enter " ISU_BP_FINDER " in HTML BP Search field .

Ibase integration in CIC winclient

i have created one Ibase and assigned partner to it but when i search partner in CIC winclient it doen't show me the Ibase ? what will be the reason ?

Ibases will be seen in the navigation area tab and as well as in the application area. (IB_NAV)
To search for Ibases first make sure that in the search profile (search attributes) you have maintained a partner for Ibase search.
Customer Relationship Management-> Interaction Center WinClient-> Component Configuration-> Visible Components-> Define Profiles for Search Strategies

Search in finder doesn't find my files in OS 10.8, upgrade from snow Leopard to Mountain Lion

after i upgraded from snow leopard to mountain lion . when i try too search files on finder . it does not find any of them although all the files are still there .so i need scroll up and down for few minutes to find my file manually . what could be the problem ?? anyone can help me with this .. thanks in advance

Hmm... didn't help me. But, I'm glad to know that I can "refresh" the search profiles. That may come in handy in the future.
I'm having similar problems where I can see a file from within an application, but the file doesn't show up in a Finder search. The file I see in the application also isn't visible in that application's folder (where it's supposed to be stored, in this case).
The file exists, because I'm able to work on it from within the application. However, it can't be found on the computer by any means I have available. I've spoken with the manufacturer of the software and they told me where to look for the file, but it isn't there (as far as I can see). Of course, they suggest the Finder is "broken" and needs to be fixed. I don't think that's the case. I can easily find other files without difficulty.
Could what I'm looking for be a "hidden" file?

New HTML for Business Partner Search in CIC0

Hi,
I created a new HTML object, copy of CRM_CIC_SEARCH_DISPLAY, in SMW0, changed the HTML code and assigned this new HTML to my Business Partner Search profile.
But when testing this change it seems that the HTML is incorrect because when I search and confirm the BP, the fields in the HTML are not filled with the BP information.
I imported the HTML code to the HTML object CRM_CIC_SEARCH_DISPLAY and it works fine. So the problem is not with the code, but with the HTML object itself. Is there any need to activate it or something like that?!

Hello Susana,
please check if you have done all the necessary steps:
1. Copy in transaction SMW0 the HTML template CRM_CIC_SEARCH_DISPLAY      an own one (Z_<YOURNAME>.htm).
2. Export this new template to your local PC and use a HTML Editor to
   work on this file (like Frontpage).
3. Import this new page in SMW0 again to the copied Web object.
4. Make sure in transaction CRMC_CIC_SEARCH_CNTR the mapping of the
   fields is setup for the new template (copy all entries of the
   standard template).
5. Make sure the new web object is assigned to the search profile in
   CRMC_CIC_SEARCH_RULE
