ICal Attendees field Options
I am having trouble getting the "attendees" field in my iCal 2.0.5 entrees to consistently show more options than just "remove attendee" in the drop down menu.
I have some attendees that show "Open in Address Book" and "Edit Attendee", but not all show these options.
I initially link the Attendee field with records in my Address Book by dragging their card from Address Book to iCal's Attendee field.
What am I doing wrong?
Welcome to the discussions. I know of no way of changing it. Use OS X Feedback to ask Apple, and maybe we will get lucky in some future release ...

Set maximum size in Text Form Field Options for a field in bi publisher RTF
Hi All,
How to set maximum size in Text Form Field Options for a field in bi publisher RTF.
I have a RTF whch is having a field in that i need to add some validation condition but after adding certain condition in Add help text tab ,it is not accepting after certain length, how i can increase the length to unlimited, please help me on this
ThnaksForm fields have some restrictions if your are using version lower than 11g.
They can accommodate only 393 chars. You can add the text in both status bar and help key, which can in total consume 393 chars.
If your code logic is more than that, it can be split into multiple form fields as Avinash suggested or you can use sub template logic and handle coding over there. Again in sub template code can be within/outside form fields.
So there is no option for user to increase the size of form field. -
Hi,
I want to create a variety of text fields in InDesign for an interactive PDF with options such as font, font size, date, numbers only, alignment, etc, options that are all available in Acrobat.
The idea is to create all the text fields in InDesign without the help of Acrobat as we have a lot of forms and we always have a lot of changes in the forms.
Currently, when we have changes in the forms, we have to do them in InDesign, export, and then do all the form fields in Acrobat again, which is a terrible worklflow.
Is there any possibility to do these text field options in InDesign?
Thanks for any help!
Regards,
Kim@Steve – I found no time for testing this, but maybe a script by Marijan Tompa (TOMAXXI) could be of great help.

Kind of new to attempting any custom development in SharePoint. Working with 2013 and have the 2013 Workflow Farm setup/working. I am trying to have a calendar that users can register to appointments via custom list. I
have the list that pulls the title into its own "Event" field as a lookup. Also have a workflow on the calendar that adds the current user as an attendee and made that field "not required". I'm trying to accomplish this:
1) Have the Custom List update the Calendar list attendee field with the username. Currently it wipes out what is there and replaces with the "Created By" name. Tried to set a variable that would put the current attendees in a string
and just add the current user, then use that variable to update the attendee field. No luck. Ultimately if I can understand this enough and get fancy enough, I'd setup a workflow that can have someone delete their own registration item in
the custom list and remove only their own name from Attendees...
2) Have a workflow kick off an email that sends the registrant the calendar details. Have tried to pipe in variables to get the ICS file (some variation of this )
If I put the List ID in brackets I get an error about having that and variables in the same code for an email workflow. In any event I can't really get the email workflow to give any kind of nice piped in values the best looked like this and had
the wrong date: You registered for {"results":[{"Id":22,"Value":"Test Event 8"}]} on 1/1/0001 12:00:00 AMHi Jason,
seems your requirement a bit complex, we forum team may have limited resource regarding this issue.
you may consider to use infopath for example from this 3rd party article:
http://www.bizsupportonline.net/infopath2007/programmatically-add-item-sharepoint-calendar-infopath.htm
or for general example:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-001/infopath-help/customize-a-sharepoint-list-form-HA101821257.aspx
the article is to add an item to your calendar list, so then you may need to do wipe or other procedures, by infopath you may add the data as
you need.
if should infopath feature may not be possible to use in your environment, i may need to suggest you to open an advisory case to us, by contacting our representative,
https://support.microsoft.com/

Choose fields option in Selection Screen of report program.
Hi Experts,
Actually In my requirement , the user wants to display the output fields in ALV Grid and also in Block ALV format. They need 10 fields to be displayed by default and the additional fields has to be displayed based on the choose fields option
( i.e like SE11 choose fields option ) provided in the selection screen of this report program. So based on this the output has to be displayed.
Pls suggest ur ideas.....
Thanks in advance.

How to make field optional?
In G/L entry f-02 some of the fields are mandatory. How can I make some of the fields optional? How can I know field status group?
Hi,
The Field Status Group is linked to the Field Status Variant which in turn is assigned to a Company Code.
So if you want to check which Field Status Variant a Company Code has you have to check in IMG company code general data.
But Generic SAP config allows us to control field stats at Company Code level, Posting Key Level and Transaction Level.
Hope it helps along with other posts.
Thanks,

Can we make server fingerprint field optional instead on mandatory in SFTP adapter
Dear All,
We are integrating SAP HCM with Success-factor only for Employee profile as client is only using the "SF PMS" module.
ABAP program(installed through SH addOn provided by SAP) is generating the Employee profile ".csv" file.
I am developing a bypass scenario to transfer that ''.csv" file to SuccessFactors SFTP server. However, SuccessFactors SFTP server team is not ready to provide me their "server fingerprint", and they are claiming this info is not required to develop interface in PI. The Authentication mode in SFTP communication channel is "Password" based instead of "Private key".
Experts please help me understand is there any possibility to make this field optional? if not what else I can try here?
Thanks,
FarhanHi Farthan,
Server Fingerprint is the mandatery field to fonfigure the SFTP adapter. kindly check with your admin team to login thorough CoreFTP, it will be genarte and display the Server fingerpring.
please go through the below log.

How to make the UoM field optional field
In material master Basic data1 tab, I want to make UoM field optional field. In OMS9, I changed this field from Req,field to Opt field
,but when i create a material, the UoM is still Req. How to resolve this? Thank you.Hi,
Unit of measurement is the mandatory field for the materials.Without a unit we can't do anything for the material. Even though u changed as a optional entry system will insist to enter the UOM. Because its a standard process in SAP.Same thing will be happend for the material Description also.Field reference will not control such fields like UOM and material Description etc...

Error while creating hierarchy through " Create Hierarchy field" option
Hi All,
while trying to create hierarchy through Create Hierarchy field option i am facing the following error
I am giving the following inputs
Hierarchy field name : XYZ
Parent field : Level1
Child Field : Level2
Node name field : Level3
Cannot find the parent ID value "abc" in Field ID Level2 of Table " Hierarchy"
FYI
The source hierarchy is in Columns format with Level1(Parent)---->Lever2(Child of Level1) and Level3(Child of level2)
Kindly guide me where i am going wrong
Thanks in Advance
Regards
SharmaHi Sharma,
Your input file should have 3 columns for hierarchy one which will store level 1 information,2nd will have corresponding level 2 information and 3rd will have corresponding level 3 info.
Now in Import Manager go to Partition, select 1st ,2nd and 3rd column.Donot combine the fields. Now map the partition fields with the target hierarchy field.Perform the value mapping and import.
Or
YOu can have one column in the excel file.with values L1>L2>L3(split by some delimiter).
In import manager go to source hierechy pany select the Column and from context menu select option split into hierechy as per the delimiter.
Now map the parttion field and target field ,do value mapping and import.

Make MRP controller field optional
Hi Gurus,
Can we make MRP controller field optional in material master for specific material type?
Deepakhi,
Its not recommended to make the field optional, the controller plays a big role which MRP....if you do it optional then how the requirements will be traced, the MRP controller by its name only we can understand that it controls a whole MRP process....ANd if you do it optional, then who will look after the planning file entry??
Pls think abt it...

Field Options on more than one clip?
Im making a video and it now has 100's of seprate clips in it. Some have been set to deinterlace and some havnt. I hear its better to deinterlace with a plugin. Is there a way to select all my clips and get into field options to turn off all deinterlacing at once?
OR
whats teh best solution without having to go though all my clips individualy?Don't know... I've never tried it, but I have no reason to think it would be appreciably better than anything else I've seen Premiere do. Likely, what's happening is that you are (is essence) "chopping" the vertical resolution from 1080 -> 540, then scaling it back up to 720. Since Premiere is using a fairly soft scaling method (single-tap Gaussian resizing, I think??) this is probably hiding much of the artifacting that is occurring.
Ann -- since you are already familiar with my processes and you know how to use DebugMode FrameServer and you have my hd2sd() pacakge, try an AviSynth script like this to pre-process your 1080i timeline for 720p output:
(frameserve from Premiere in YUY2 colorspace)
AviSource("signpost.avi")
AssumeTFF()
# For better quality (but slower) deinterlacing, set DeintMethod=1
ConditionalSmoothBob(DeintMethod=2)
SelectEven()
Spline36Resize(1280, 720)
ConvertToRGB32(matrix="rec709", interlaced=false)
Compress this as a Lagarith AVI and import than into a Premiere 1280x720 @ 30p (or 25p) timeline and export to .wmv (or use another tool, such as Microsoft's standalone Windows Media Converter to create the output)
Of course, there are many other options for how to handle all of this, but this a good place to start. -
How to export movies with Single Field option on with QuickTime Pro?
Hi,
I've got a rather problematic video file with MJPEG encoding in it. I've been able to save the original AVI into another QuickTime mov-file. Where I thought the deinterlace would help me to get rid of the horizontal lines in the picture, that option didn't work this time. Instead, if I use the Single Field option, I get at least a smooth picture.
But when I try to export this to another mov-file or any other format for a smaller file size, I never get the smooth picture to stay. And in the resulting files the interlace "effect" can't be removed even with that single field on again!
I'm using QuickTime Pro 7.6.6.
Anybody with a solution?Where I thought the deinterlace would help me to get rid of the horizontal lines in the picture, that option didn't work this time. Instead, if I use the Single Field option, I get at least a smooth picture.
It's my understanding that these QT 7 Pro options are "playback only" property settings utilized by the QT Player and do do not have any effect on the export/re-compression of interlaced content. Have you tried exporting directly to a progressive codec option/setting in QT 7 Pro, tried the motion adaptive deinterlacer in MPEG Streamclip (free) or the JES Deinterlacer (free), or used the "decomb" filter option in HandBrake (free) to see if any of these approaches are more suited to your needs?
