ICal crashes when asked to print a Day view

Anytime I ask iCal to print, it crashes. I'm on 10.4.8, iCal is latest version, on a MacBook.
Any ideas?

ICal crashing when trying to print

Whenever I try to print a month from my iCal it crashes immediately after I click, "continue." Why? How do I fix it without losing all of my information?

Update:
Grasping for straws, I opened up my old LR2 to see if I could get it to print. It printed an old jpeg on my Epson w/ no problem.
Decided to download some pics I had taken yesterday w/ LR3. These downloaded and printed w/ no problem. Went back to the pics that were giving me printing problems, and LR3 crashed again. I roamed around my pic library and randomly chose some other pics of roughly the same age (couple years old) and all others would print.
Seems I have just one batch of some 500 pics (a trip to Italy) that now will not print. I've printed from them in the past. In fact, I've both the original NEF files (Nikon raw) and as well as jpeg copies of each that were used to have an Apple book printed, but can now not print either type.
If it makes any difference, I keep all my pics on an external HD. Another external HD backs-up my Macbook and my pic HD via Mac's 'time machine'. I can go right to the specific pics on the external HD and see that they're right there were they should be, but I can just no longer get them to print.
Any ideas?

Itunes crashes when asked to print play list selection

I am trying to print selections from a playlist I burned on a disc. Whenever I ask it to print, the print window pops up but before I can select the format for the printing I receive an error message "ituns has encountered a problem and needs to close). I'm not sure how long this has been going on (i.e. what itunes version I was running). However, I was able to print previously without any trouble. I have tried 1) rebooting, 2) highlighting the selection, 3) unchecking songs that I don't need on the print out. Does the size of the library have anything to do with printing issues? Any thoughts would be very helpful. Thanks.

Copy the playlist off the CD/DVD, open it, and then try to print it. I have found that trying to perform many seemingly simple functions from a external media source (especially where there is no 'write' capability) can result in application crashes or just nothing at all (Mac and PC), until the file is copied to the HD.

PREVIEW crashes when asked to print

Last couple of days any .png file that normally prints okay fails to print and crashes.
Recently I set Adobe to open all png files, but it doesn't. Today I went back and changed the Open With (on get info access from the finder) back to Preview, but get the same result.
Do I trash all the Preview com.apple.plist settings, and preview from the Apps Folder and
re-copy it from a working Clone on another HD???

Focus on three values: srr0, lr, and the exception address (described earlier).
srr0 is the program counter at the time that the exception occurred. That is, it's the address of the instruction that caused the exception. Firefox crashes when trying to print a certain page

I process orders placed on our web site. As soon as I updated to v6.0 and then V6.0.1 at a particular page when I need to print out invoices (and only on this page - I print two other pages as well during the processing) firefox crashes when trying to print all, print one page or print preview. It is not every single time but most times. I never had this problem in any earlier version.
It happened in safe mode as well.
If it wasn't for the group tabs which I love in v6 I would go back to v5.0 as it is quite inconvenient and costs me extra time to have this happen. I have to display each of the invoices individiually and print them which never causes a crash.

Uninstall (ticking the box to delete the preferences), run the Cleaner Tool, and reinstall.

New HP Office jet Pro 8610 defaults to FAX when asked to print from my Lenovo.

New HP Office Jet Pro 8610 worked for 1 day after installation. Printed & Scanned OK both sided. Did not connect for Fax as don't use it. After printing a couple of documents & scanning some from the Lenovo think Pad Laptop the 8610 has suddenly always defaulted to the fax send page when asked to print any document. Still scans perfectly. I can print the same documents by emailing them to my IPhone then requesting print. Why won't it print docs from the laptop??? What can I do to overcome the problem as its slow to have to go thru the phone. (I'm 89 years old) Please help. 2Wood.

Firefox 31.0 bug - FF crashes when trying to print Amazon web pages

Using Mac OS 10.6.8. Firefox crashing issue just started occurring for me after updating to FF 31.0 on 8-5-14. Prior to that FF has always worked perfectly for me with no printing issues or any other issues. Luckily FF does not crash when printing anything else. All other web pages work well so far except for Amazon.
Tried many different listings on Amazon but I get the same result; instant crash. Command P brings up the Print Window successfully, but as soon as I make the choice to Print, Preview or Save as a pdf, FF crashes. (By the way, my Safari browser works perfectly when printing these same web pages on Amazon. No crashes.)
Tried every single one of the Help suggestions regarding the printer settings, preferences, and other help suggestions for crashing issues but they made no difference at all. Cleared my FF cookies and cache, cleared my system and user caches, updated Flash Player and checked that all plugins were up-to-date, ran Disk Utility to repair permissions, and reset PRAM, but no luck.
Decided to reset FF last night but that resulted in no change at all. FF still crashes when attempting to print from Amazon. I reported this issue to Amazon, and they said they would contact Mozilla about it too. Thank you.

PS CC 2014 crashes when I select print

Hi, Chris. Thanks for giving this query a look. I have the same problem. All documents print on my HP Deskjet 932C except Photoshop files since I updated to Mavericks.
My CS5 version is 9.0 x64. Mavericks is 10.9.4.
I checked the HP drivers and HP doesn't have one for OS X newer than 10.4.
I tried printing out the detailed report (very long!) and this page rejected the reply as spam. Can we provide the text as an attachment?

Possibly corrupt preferences.
Hold down Ctrl-alt-shift keys and start Photoshop. A dialog offering to delete the settings should appear. Answer "Yes".
cmd-alt-shift if that's a Mac.

A number of applications such as iwork,PDF, etc. crashes when trying to print, I can print test pages and use other printer utilities functions on my HP 970 CXI.
Creating new printer queue had no effect can any one suggest a solution. Thanks

This may sound elementary but I turn off all print spoolers - print monitoring, background printing, etc. - as the very first test. This eliminates a whole class of issues, including some memory related questions.
The version of the operating system can also be a factor. If you turn off the printer, delete laserwriter 8 preferences, turn on the printer, select the printer in chooser and try printing again you may solve some problems.
You posted your question in the old folks home. Are you using an old computer? An iBook G4 processor is as new as a Mac Mini so I am assuming that this is a question that predates OS X. If this is an OS X printing problem, we need to shift mental gears or you may want to post your query again in a more modern forum. Post back will more details and we will try and help out.
