ICal crashes when you have Google Calendars

I have Google Calendar in iCal and it crashes whenever I open it after a second or two. I have found another post where crashing was solved by removing and adding the Google Calendar, but I don't have enough time to remove it when iCal starts. It disables the whole app for me.

I have found out that the problem was solved when I did:
1) Start isync
2) Select iSync->Preferences
3) Press the "Reset Sync History" buton
This solution was suggested for untitled calendars appearing at start and it worked for my problem as well. Seems to be a good thing to try with iCal problems.

If the box next to each calendar in the list is checked, it should show the contents of the calendars on the page. Unchecking the box hides the calendar.

When syncing multiple Google calendars to iPad, switching event to different Google sub-calendar using iPad creates a duplicate in Google.
Using Google account with the Exchange setup on an iPad mini. iOS up to date. I have a secondary calendar in my Google account for some appointments, and when I create the event on the iPad and it defaults to my main Google calendar, changing the event to the secondary calendar caused the following:
1) at first, the event totally disappeared from my iPad. Scary! Reappeared when I went into Gcal on the web, opened the event to edit, and re-saved. Phew.
2) Failing to re-create error #1, I switched a new event from primary to secondary calendar, and it then appears correct on iPad, but is duplicated on the web. The duplicate remains even after deleting the changed event on iPad, refreshing Gcal, etc.
Just curious if anyone else is having this problem or has discovered a workaround or fix.

When you open the Calendar app, tap the button at the top-left corner (Calendars). That should reveal all the calendars you have available, and you can select/ un-select any or all of them.
If you don't see your 2nd GMail calendar listed, go into Settings/ Mail/ (account name) and make sure you've turned the calendar ON for this account.

Safari Crashe when you click on toolbar after 10.4.5 upgrade

I've been having severe problems with Safari crashing when you click on the toolbar. If you try to click in the "google" box it crashes. If you click anywhere on the user interface that isn't a button (say to drag the window), it crashes. During my search of the forums, a lot of folks say that is was caused by third party extensions like Safari Enhancer. I don't have any of those installed.
I've since switched to using Firefox (still not the more stable program).

I went back and installed back to panther. Did a complete wipe on a brand new hard drive. Everything was working great until the software update patched safari with its latest release. Now it won't even open. I'm going to uninstall safari and try again. This time with no software updates.

How do I see my ICal events on my work Google Calendar?

how do I see my ICal events on my work Google Calendar?

I thought that was the case. I'm happy enough syncing Entourage to my iPhone. The last update to Entourage actually fixed that. I was just curious if the Entourage calendar in iCal would appear in the iCloud via iCal. Obviously it doesn't unless you want to "force" the issue. Thanks for taking the time. Bill

Hello, LV 8.2.1 notes indicates the following bug fix:

I am running this version, and still have this behavior. Is there anything I may be missing, and/or certain circumstances that may still be causing this?

I looked at the CAR ID that you mentioned and the issue has been resolved in LabVIEW 8.2.1. To verify something similar, I ran the attached VI and things worked just fine. Please feel free to send me the steps to follow to reproduce the issue you are running into in 8.2.1.

Bug: when you have two or more reminder pop-ups on BB10, you can't edit 2 or more of them because the second and beyond are lost...

I notice that when you have two or more reminder pop-ups on BB10 (tasks, calendar, etc.), you can't edit 2 or more of these because the second and beyond get lost and will never pop-up again.

To better understand your issue, for example If you have two reminders and select 'View Event Details' on the 1st reminder, does the 2st reminder popup before the Details of the1st reminder displays?

Convergence - "You have no calendars"

I just upgraded my Comms Suite products to the latest provided in CommsSuite 6u1 and with that I installed and configured Convergence. When I log into Convergence and go into the Calendar area it tells me "You have no calendars". That shows up in italics under "My Calendars". If I go into Comms Express I can see my calendars and add events just fine. Any ideas on how to get my calendars to show up in Convergence?

I didn't have Convergence installed prior to the upgrade. I was just using Comms Express.
I do not see my calendars under 'Subscribed".
The problem happens with all accounts and in both domains I have.

Fm10 crashes when you insert an element

Fm 10 crashes when you insert an element. The problem occurs in structured fm and in xml files and it seems to happen when you insert the same element twice, for example a <para> after a <para> or a <choice> after a <choice>.
I'm using Fm 10.0.1 in Windows XP SP3.

Well, when working with FrameMaker there is almost no difference if a file was opened from DITA XML or if it is a DITA .fm file: It is always the binary internal file object that is handled. The only difference when (seemingly) working with XML files: they have to be translated from and to markup when opened opened or saved. BTW, this is the reason why you would not want to work with large XML files.
Bottom line: If your .fm files are also DITA files the observations you mentioned apply.

There have been similar reports, yes. You may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not coming from one of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. I don't know if this will work, but I'd try logging in to an admin account, going to your main library (not user library), opening it, opening Application Support, selecting iPhoto, hold down the command key and press i, click on the lock in the lower left, entering the password and making sure you have Read & Write privileges for System and Admin.

I did all the steps to restore my password when you have never synched to a computer before. I got to step 4 where my ipod told me to connect to itunes but itunes did not respond. what do I do now?
