ICal [Exchange calendar]: "This calendar can only contain to do items"

Hi, after SL upgrade I cannot add/edit any longer my exchange accounts calendar in iCal. It only says that "This calendar can only contain to do items".
I have tried to delete the account and reset it but it didn´t solve the issue.
We are using Kerio Mail Server as Exchange solution.
Should I wait for 10.6.1 to fix this or is there a work around?

It was my fault, because this problem really a Kerio Mail Server faliure!

I'm sorry to see that no one has answered this. I'm hoping Apple with reply to my support request, as I'm having the same issue. I really don't want to continue with iCloud at this point.

You must surely be able to add and subtract songs on specific playlist?

I fixed this issue (with help from tech support) and it involved several things.
After adding a song to iTunes, right-click on the song in iTunes and select "Update iTunes Match."
OR go to the iTunes menu-->Store-->Update iTunes Match.
Maybe that's the reason, it just hadn't updated to the cloud.
OR maybe it's not a high-enough bitrate file. This happens to me because most of my tunes are home-recorded.
Sometimes converting to .mp3 or Create AAC version might work. (You do this with a right-click in iTunes, and then you will want to remove the original file from iTunes.)
There is an iTunes Preferences setting, under General Preferences called Import Settings. Try setting it to AAC Encoder and iTunes Plus. That (I think) causes imports to be slightly better quality.

Cannot submit app update - "Error The submission can only contain one appx or one appxbundle."

I'm trying to submit my app update to the store and I get the following error:

The submission can only contain one appx or one appxbundle.
So I thought I should maybe utilize the "Delete" option to allow me to submit an updated appx or appxbundle (since these are the only file types that App Studio allows us to build). However, when I do, I get the
following message:
Can't delete this package
You must have at least one 8.1 package in your submission.
... So I'm basically stuck. Can't delete to upload a new one. Can't upload a new one because there's one already there. It would be nice if you could automatically sunset the old appx/appxbundle package in favor of the new
one.
Update: Solved! Solution below.

Since this is still an issue, shouldn't it be escalated for a fix so that the page works on any modern browser?
I see two independent problems here:
- Hitting Delete should work, not bash the user with a "You must have at least one 8.1 package in your submission." message (i.e. allow the developer to delete and then add a new file, if so desired). After all, when making the initial submission
we are in the same situation (no file yet), so it can't be that bad, as long as this is checked for at a later stage.
- Show that Replace button which seems to be hiding! If it is a Silverlight issue, why require Silverlight in the first place?
P.S.: I am experiencing this with IE (no Replace button, Windows 8.1 x64 and latest updates).

Depending on the size of the app or the connection speed when using Wi-Fi it could take a little longer to download. You can also try to download it onto your computer, might be faster, and sync it to the phone after that.

what video are you trying to stream via airplay?
currently only video from youtube app or ipod app is supported.
any other app will only stream the audio.

ICal published on a server can only be subsuscribed, but not be viewed

Hi have built iCal into an iframe on my website. For testing I used MobileMe, which worked without problems. But now I would like to store the .ics on another website. I could upload the file through iCal, but if I visit the website, Safari downloads/subsuscribe the .ics. I cannot view the Calender inside the website. Hope you undestand my problem. Any ideas and suggestions.

What I´ve made first:
Build an Webside in Dreamweaver. Add an iframe there and an html snippet for my iCal Calender. Then I published my Calender through iCal and mobileme. After that, iCal gave me 2 adresses. One for subsuscribe:
webcal://ical.me.com/my.name/Calendername.ics.
And one for viewing in a browser http://ical.me.com/my.name/Calendername
I copied the secend one and paste it in my iframe. Thats worked great. On my webside I could see my iCal dates. This was by publishing on my mobileme account. If i publish on "another server" I only recieve the message/url for subsuscribe.
My english is not the best hope it is al ittle bit clearer. Thanks

I can only see my sent items, I seem to have lost my inbox

I think I must have hit a short cut some how and now I can't see my inbox, all I can see are my sent items. It's as though I have expanded the view on my sent box but now can't get it back to show my inbox and all my sub folders.

Your folder pane is either turned off of hidden.
To turn it back on go to the menu bar and select View-Layout-Folder Pane.
No menu bar? Press the alt key.
If that is already selected the pane is hidden. Move your mouse to the left margin of the window and watch for it to change to a double headed arrow. When it changes, left click, hold and drag to the right to uncover the folder pane.

Google Calendar can only be read out but not modify

hello,
i could set up my Google Calendar account in my playbook abd sync it. eveything is there. but... i can not add or modify appoitements.
is it a limitation? i wish to have full access to my calendar on my android phone and on my playbook.

I have just tried to add a track to an existing playlist - and get the following message - "iCloud playlists canonly contain songs from your iCloud music library" If you continue, playlist will be removed from iCloud andonly be available on this computer". I have tried dragging and dropping, right clicking and adding and pressing the little arrow to add to playlist and all tell me that I cannot do this. What's that all about? I am really surprised that no one has been able to help me with this... Anyhow, I have still got the propblem - although I am definitely NOT using Match. I have been adding to existing play,ist by removing it from icloud (dunno how - but it's an option offered when trying to add to playlist).. Now when I sync iphone that's fine - playlists are good - but when syncing ipad 3 - Nope it's not having it. What to do?

Attempting to install MBAM 2.5, and the SQL Server I have available for the install is SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2; the databases installed correctly, but when I run the Reports install it suddenly doesn't like my SQL anymore. The error says I need to install
SQL Server 2008 R2 SP1, SQL Server 2012 SP1, or later - and the server is already at that level.
Any idea of how to progress without needing to wipe out SQL and upgrading everything to 2012 R2? I really need to get this running ASAP, so I'm hoping there's a tip that will allow me to get the install to complete.

Added note: When I check the mbam setup logs in event viewer, I get the following error:
IsSupportedSqlVersion: The SQL version is not supported - 10.50.1600.1.
Checking the version in SQL Management Studio shows:
select @@VERSION
Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (SP2) - 10.50.4000.0 (X64)

I have a 1st generation apple tv that my kids use in their tv room but the remote now will only toggle up and down. Anyone have this problem, can only acess movies and can toggle over to the side for tv shows or other content

Have you restarted the AppleTV?
I have several white remotes for ATV1's and a couple have 'sticky' up buttons that require a harder press (one of these was chucked in the sunk a few years ago by my daughter), so I'm not convinced of their longevity as much as I prefer them ergonomically over the new silver ones.
Odd for two to be exhibiting the same issue which which is why I suggest restarting. If you had a low battery you'd probably be getting an onscreen warning icon.

You can view some account info by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and selecting View Apple ID on the pop-up - is that the info that you want to see ?
